{Calypso's POV}

Two months had past since the Tartarus showdown with Kianna. The Talent Show was coming up, and some of the girls were debating if they wanted to participate while hanging out in Katie's room.

"Well, Piper can sing," Annabeth laughed, Piper blushed. "Well, no, not really. I could suck, but you guys think it's good because it's charmsinging," she defended. "Oh shut up, Piper. You're so good!" Annabeth argued. "Annabeth! Language!" Hazel scolded. "Oh, Hazel, shut up isn't really offensive anymore, I learned that the hard way," I laughed. "Oh," Hazel blushed, but no one can blame her, I mean, she's a forty's child.

"But she's right, Piper should go for it," Hazel smiled. "But only a few people have heard me. Only the seven," she defended again. "Only six others who are friends of mine told me I'm good. I don't know, guys."

"Well then sing for us," I said. She looks shocked. "Noooooooo," she said, holding out the "o". "Why not?" Clarisse asked. "'Cause, I get all fidgety. I don't like it," Piper said. "You did it with the seven," Katie defended. "Well, yeah, 'cause our lives depended on it," Piper said.

"You're insane. But fine, whatever," I said.

About two hours later, I heard a muffled voice from Piper's room. I snuck out of my room, only to realize it was singing. I got all the girls out. "Piper's singing!" I whisper-shouted. We were all huddled around Piper's door.

I was brave and shoved open the door. Fortunately, Piper was on her bed, facing the other direction, reading a book and listening to music. She was singing Human by Christina Perri.

She turned around and jumped.

"How long have you been standing there?" she asked. "Long enough to know you're doing the talent show whether you like it or not," Clarisse said. She rolled her eyes. "WAIT! We should do an a Capella group!" Katie exclaimed. "Okay, Katie, you need to slow down on Pitch Perfect," Annabeth laughed. "No, that isn't a bad idea," Piper said. "Oh come on, Piper, you're just trying to get out of the spotlight," Clarisse said. "I'll do it if Piper also does a solo act," I said. "And I'll do the solo if we do this," Piper jumped in.

The girls thought about it, but we finally got them to agree.

"Okay, so we're doing this," Clarisse said (Hamilton anyone?).
