Rory

We landed on the grass next to a pine tree with a fleece draped across it.

We started making our way down the hill when Annabeth stopped. "wait, we don't know if the borders will let Rory pass."

"What borders?" I asked

"The camp has magical borders that don't allow mortals to pass," Percy explained. "Chase could probably pass 'cause he's not human, but you're completely mortal. I mean, maybe not if you count the character magic thing, but you weren't able to see that monster that attacked you guys before."

"What happens if it doesn't let her pass?" Chase asked.

"Well, we haven't really seen what happens, because mortals aren't supposed to be able to find this place, but Rachel passed last summer so maybe..." Annabeth trailed off.

"Well, I can take that risk." I said. "So let's go."

We made the rest of the way down the hill, but it was hard for me to see the camp. It kept flickering and turning into a strawberry field. And I kept having this urge to turn back and go away. I looked at the others, but they didn't seem to be having a problem. I guessed this was what Percy had meant.

When we got to the bottom of the hill, Percy said, "here goes". He walked into the camp, followed by Annabeth, Chase, Lena, and lastly me.

I closed my eyes and walked into the camp, though it was a little hard. I opened my eyes and looked around. I'd made it through just fine. And the urge to turn and leave went away.

We made our way to a huge cabin.

"Chiron will want to meet you guys," Percy said.

"Wait, you mean that centaur that trains people in those Greek stories?" Lena asked. I had no idea what she was talking about but Percy nodded. "Wait," Lena said, "Isn't he supposed to be... dead? How can he live that long?"

"He's immortal," Annabeth explained.

Just then, a human- wait, no not human, a horse from the waist down- walked out of the huge cabin.

"Hey Chiron, these are the newest campers, well that ones a demigod," Percy pointed to Lena.

Chiron looked confused. "Who are these others then, how did they cross the boarders?"

Percy grinned. "Your gonna want to hear their story, let's go inside."

Percy

We went into the big house and sat down. (Well, Chiron went into wheelchair form, which earned a few surprised looks from Rory chase and Lena)

"So," Chiron said, "What's this all about?"

"Well, for starters, did you know anything about fairytale characters being real?" I asked. I mean he had hidden the truth about camp Jupiter.

We hadn't found that out until last summer when Hera sort of kidnapped me and camp Jupiter almost destroyed camp half-blood. (Or was almost destroyed by camp half-blood, take your pick).

Chiron looked confused. "Fairytale characters?"

"So you don't know?"

"No," he said. "I have no idea what your talking about."

"Well, then," chase said, "I guess we should start at the beginning."

Chase

I retold the story about EAS and characters and how we would each get a tale. (Why did I have to keep telling the story?) Chiron listened without a word, though he looked amazed.

Just as I was finishing, a girl, maybe 18 years old, rushed in yelling, "come quickly, someone let a monster into camp!"
