The book wasn't lying. When we got to camp, it was a mess.

The place was half frozen, ice griffons attacking from all directions. Some campers were trying to attack the army of griffons, while some of them stood confused, trying to figure out what they were and where they had come from.

I searched frantically for Chiron. He was trying to fend off the ice griffons from the big house. They were surrounding it, like they wanted something from in there.

"Chiron! What do they want?" I half screamed.

He turned to me, as if just realizing I was there. He shook his head. Not now, he mouthed.

Okay then. I wondered what was in there that was so important. I would worry about that later. Right now, I had to help them.

My celestial bronze wouldn't work on the griffins, and the rest of the camp looked confused too, trying to use their weapons but failing.

Then, at the bottom of the hill, a portal opened. It looked just like the one we had used to get to EAS, except this one was pale blue and had a cold aura coming out of it.

Someone stepped out, and I saw Rory's face pale.

The lady smiled. "Hello, Aurora Landon."

I heard Rory whisper, "Solange?"
