Rory

Me and Chases first date. I was soo excited. What could go wrong? I told myself. the Snow Queen was gone.

What could go wrong? Plenty.

I got dressed and went out of our new house. EAS looked way more organized now that Lena had fixed up the house order. It looked like somewhat a normal community.

I met chase at the tree of hope. He was leaning against it and had a plate of fey fudge stacked on a plate in his hand. Not surprised.

"Hey, Chase." I said. "Ready to go?"

"yeah" he said grinning.

We walked towards the blue door and stepped out of EAS. We went towards the movie theater. I had picked out the movie since Chase had no idea what a movie even was.

Chase suddenly stopped walking. "Hey, did you hear that?"

"What?" I asked.

"Never mind it was probably just nothing.

We went inside and bought our tickets. the movie went pretty well. But still... I had a feeling we were being watched. But like Chase said, it was probably nothing.

We finished the movie with no distractions or wolfs or anything. Other then Chase getting up a few times for popcorn. (Okay, that wasn't new.) We left the movie theater and started back to EAS when I saw Lena coming toward us.

"Hey, Lena", I said. She looked completely out of breath. "Guys there's something chasing me."

"What?" I asked, cause I really didn't know what she was talking about.

"I left the EAS door and this- this thing started chasing me." she said. She turned around nervously and started looking around. Then she pointed at something. "Right there", she said. I looked where she was pointing.

"I don't see anything", I said.

"Right there. Chase, you see it?"

Chase's face paled. "Rory you really don't see it?" He asked.

"No I really don't see anything." I replied. I wondered If they were playing a trick on me for some reason.

"It's a huge 11 foot monster, how do you not see it?"

I found it weird because none of the other people around us looked disturbed either.

"Hey guys I think it found us, we have to go." I still didn't see anything but I followed Chase and Lena out of there.

"Guys I still don't see anything, but can you at least tell me what it looks like?" I asked.

"Rory, it looks like a huge monster, really hard to miss." Chase, of course.

We turned a corner just in time to see something come out of the sky. It looked like a huge chariot pulled by a Dapplegrim. It stopped and landed on the grass and out came a boy and a girl, both about sixteen or seventeen years old, with swords.
