Claire: But to answer your question, no, nerd isn't really an insult anymore.
Claire: at least as far as I'm aware

Jon: Why can't people be this civil with me??? Rude

Claire: Besides, people who use nerd as an insult are actually just insulting themselves by implying that the person they're 'insulting' is more intelligent and culturally aware than them.  

Claire: Jon, Angela is someone whom we regard with respect because she is a literal blessing and she and Vee are the only people on camp with more than three brain cells
