Percy x Reader [Edited]

(Y/N)'s POV

I decided for once to visit my dad, my mortal parent. Although it's all the way in New Jersey, I decided to go. I said goodbye to my friends at camp since I was going to be gone for about two weeks. Then I took my car and started to drive.

When I was about an hour into the ride, I stopped at a nearby gas station to fuel up, food for me and gas for my car. As I walked into the store after I gassed the car, I saw my favorite candies and food and I grabbed them. As I walked to the cashier, something caught my eye. I glanced over and saw that the cashier had a drachma as a necklace. 

I blinked for a second and as I looked back, it was just a shiny golden circle with a dove on it. I shook of my suspicion as I payed for my food and walked out. I got back into my car and started driving again.

I reached into my bag of food and felt something I didn't remember grabbing. As I took it out, I almost swerved into the other lane, shocked at what I saw. It was the necklace I saw on the cashier's neck. Making sure I was still on the right lane, I read the note attached to the necklace.

(Y/N),

I'm just giving you a warning that you'll run into some boy trouble. But I'm sure you'll be fine. You're my daughter, after all.

Your mother, Aphrodite.

Oh gods, this isn't going to be good. I wonder what's going to happen. I just pondered on this as I drove the last 40 minutes of the ride in silence.

As I got to my old house, I was hit with all my childhood memories. Of how we moved from (Y/C) to New Jersey when I was 6 and how I loved to play with all of my friends. Speaking of friends, I thought about Nathan. 

Nathan used to be my crush, until I had to leave to go to Camp Half Blood. I come to visit from time to time, maybe once or twice a year. Everyone thinks that I'm at a boarding school in New York. But I haven't seen Nathan in years. Maybe since I was 12 or 13. After I left to camp, I kind of wondered where he was when I visited during breaks.

I walked up to the door and knocked. It opened and hugged my dad. We walked in and discussed about how my life is and what I'm up to. I also mentioned about how mom's doing and how she helps me on quests and stuff once in a while.

After having a long conversation, I decided to view the neighborhood and town, since it's a small community and I also haven't seen it since last year. I grabbed my skateboard and took off down the street, promising to my dad that I'd be home by 7.

Rolling down the street, I passed all the housed that I used to pass every day when I went to school. I soon was engrossed in my thoughts and I then realized that I was going to the local ice cream shop downtown. 

I walked in to see my friend, (F/N), working. "Ohmygosh! (Y/N)? It's been forever since I saw you!" She exclaimed as she ran forward to hug me. I hugged her with the same amount of enthusiasm. Since the shop was empty for a moment, she made us both some ice cream sundaes and we sat in a booth to talk and catch up. 

The bell attached to the door soon rang, signaling that another customer came in. She sighed and said, "Well, I better go get that. Be right back." She then walked over to the cashier booth and talked to the customer.

I turned around to see that the customer she's talking to is Nathan. "Nathan?" I said. He turned around. "Hi, (Y/N)!" He said as he strolls over and hugs me. I smile, "How's it been? I haven't  seen you in years!" Nathan just shrugs, "I haven't seen you since you went to boarding school."

(F/N), Nathan, and I sat back down in the booth we were in and just chatted. At times I would see Nathan look at me and when I looked back, he would blush. (F/N) just kept looking between us, wiggling her eyebrows. I was so confused. Soon as it got close to 6:30, I explained that I had to start going back to my place. Nathan offered to walk with me. I nodded as we said bye to (F/N) and walked out the door. 

As we walked down the street, we would make small talk and it was a bit awkward. Until I heard someone shouting and running at me down the street. I widened my eyes as the person crashed into me and we both fell over. I opened my eyes to see Piper. 

"Piper? What are you doing here?" I asked. Nathan looked at me silently asking me if I knew her. I nodded as she explained, "Percy, Jason, and I pranked Nico and he shadow traveled us to a random place. Then monsters came and we started running as Jason and Percy finished them off."

I nodded as that kind of made sense. "Wait, then where's Jason and Percy?" I asked. She shrugged as we started to head back to my house. "Oh, Nathan, this is Piper. She's my, uh, step sister." I said since we were too close in age for it to seem like we were actual half sisters. They greeted each other. 

As we walked up to my front door, Nathan then said, "Uh, (Y/N), before I go, can I ask you something?" I nodded as Piper whispered into my ear, "Being a child of Aphrodite and your sister, I can sense romantic turmoil between you two." I looked at her. Oh shit. 

"Go ahead, Nathan." I said. "Well, I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?" He asked. "Uh..." I questioned. Well, I used to like him, but now, I'm not sure. I like Percy but I don't know if he likes me back. 

"She's taken." Piper yelps, saving me from that awkward moment. I sighed in relief. "By who?" He asked. Fuck. "By me." I heard someone say. I turned around to see Percy walking up to us, Jason trailing slightly behind him. I waved at them before turning my head back around and I saw Nathan look slightly mad.
