Penny's POV

School finally ended. I end with Mr. Kelvin. He teaches P.E. I basically skipped his class on my own.

I continue to walk down the deserted sidewalk. Everyone at that school has some kind of transportation. Most have cars, while other have bikes. And some have to ride the bus. There's only one bus. You know why? Because that's how small this damn town is!

I'm pretty sure I forgot my address. I'll just look for the boxes. I see a few moving boxes on the curb in front of a house. There it is.

I decide to check the mail for any letters from Jason. He's the friend that believes in conspiracies. He doesn't trust phones, so he writes letter. But he also hates the postal service. Something about them reading our mail and bla bla bla.

He told me he'll send a letter for me. Just for me. That's the nicest thing ever. When I say he's paranoid, I mean paranoid!

Damn, no mail. I hear a car pull into the driveway behind me. I turn around. Nice car. I wonder who drives.....Mr. Jackson!

Oh no! Oh no! He cannot be one of my neighbors! No one wants their teacher as a neighbor! No! It's weird! I quickly turn around. Please don't see me. I walk fast into my home. I ignore my parents questions about "how was school". I also ignore my little brother, Ben. I go straight up to my room and slightly move the curtains to look outside.

He's making his way over here! Damn it! Ben kicks my door open. I turn around.

"What the hell, Ben! "

He's 16 and he still gets treated like a damn baby. My mom and dad don't believe me when I tell them he started it! He sticks his tongue out at me. I'm so angry right now. I begin to chase after him.

He runs down the stairs. I follow, but trip on the last two steps. When I hit the ground, I slide. Damn clothes. I get up and continue to chase him. I'm only focused on him. He runs into the living room and stops moving. Dumb ass.

I run up behind him and put him in a headlock. I start to give him the worse nuggy imaginable. He says,

"Ow! Mom get her off!"

"Penny stop! We have company. "

I don't stop, but I look up. Mr. Jackson is staring at me. Slightly smirking at me. Embarrassed, I stop and push him away.

"Hello, Mr. Jackson. "

"Hello Penny. "

Ben punches my arm hard and runs away. I grab my arm and yell,

"Ow! Mom!"

She looks at me and says, "Honey, talk to our guest while I get some refreshments. "

Oh God...whenever she gets refreshments, she plans on talking with the guest for hours. I must say, I actually like Mr. Jackson enough to not have him go through that. My dad shakes hands with Mr. Jackson and says,

"It was nice meeting you. I have to go to work now."

He kisses my forehead and leaves. Damn. He got away quick. When my dad is out of sight and so is my mom, I quickly push Mr. Jackson out the door. He looks surprised as I close the door behind me. I quickly say,

"Trust me, Mr. Jackson, you do not want to have refreshments with my mom. She'll talk your ear off! "

He laughs and says, "Well, thanks for the warning. I didn't know you were my new neighbor. That's exciting. "

Exciting? How?

"Yeah, well, bye now."

"Wait wait. I talked to Ms. Frazier and she said it was okay. I can show you around the school tomorrow since its Saturday. "

"Yeah that's exactly what I want to do on a Saturday.... Fine I'll go."

He smiles and says, "Well, see you tomorrow. "
