"Seriously? Freak? Can't think of anything more imaginative? What's next, four-eyes? Oh wait, you're the one with glasses, not me. " I flipped him off and started walking away.

"Alright, let's see what happens when people find out your little "secret", (Y/N). What comeback will you have then?" he sneered. I froze.

"You wouldn't." I gasped.

"Oh wouldn't I?" he laughed again.

"That's right, you wouldn't. I know a secret of yours too, Berdie. Watch out, or you may find your tea has been tipped over. " I watched with delight as he paled.

"G-go ahead! Tell them. See if I care." I knew he wasn't serious, but the chance was just too delicious.

"'kay. Hey everyone, Berdly has a huge crush on Noelle and kisses a teddy bear with her face on it goodnight after tucking it into bed!"

Berdly's facial feathers glowed bright crimson.

 "Y-yeah, well (Y/N) is tra-" I threw a notebook at him. He ducked it. "(Y/N) is trans! He was a guy but got his dick cut off!" Tears filled my eyes.

 "You're an insensitive piece of shit, Berdly! (Y/N) may be trans, but that does not make her a man without male genitals. (Y/N) is no less female than Noelle or Catti!" Everyone shut up and turned their attention to Susie.

Susie never spoke, let alone defended anyone.

"Why are all of you staring at me? I have a voice, big whoop. You should be more worried about Berdly! What kind of asshole tells a trans woman that she's a man who got their dick cut off!?" Susie shouted.

 "...that was pretty horrible, Berdly. Who were you trying to impress? You are insensitive and you need to learn your place." Noelle stated. The second shock of the day. Noelle speaking her mind? Since when?

Slowly, everyone started yelling at Berdly for being transphobic and misgendering me. I was dumbfounded.

I caught Susie's eye.

"Thank you," I mouthed. She winked at me as she left the lunchroom.
