there's noise.

too much noise for dan to hear what chris is saying when he's literally five inches away, and so when he answers phil's call, he knows he has made a bad decision. phil is talking loudly into the phone, in the hopes of making dan hear something, anything, but all dan can hear is jumbled words.

"can you shut up for a second!" dan yells at chris, who is drunkenly mumbling something that makes no sense, and chris just pouts, falling into a bar stool, and leaning against the obnoxiously long bar.

"no, not you, i was talking to chris," dan yells hopelessly into the phone, and when phil begins speaking again, he simply ends the call out of frustration. first phil acts like a dick and doesn't answer his calls, and now he is calling him at midnight while he is at the loudest place on the planet?

dan's thinking is slightly irrational, his already un-placid mind overpowering under the influence of all the alcohol that he has consumed, as he types an angry text with his shaky fingers.

dannylester: what the hell phil ?????? why are u callung me at this tine

philly: i wanted to talk about something but you're clearly enjoying yourself too much to care

dan scowls at the message, sitting in the stool next to chris' and ordering a drink before starting to type again.

dannylester: im celebraying you dick but how would u know if u nevr answer ur damn phone

philly: sorry i disturbed you :) please celebrate and drink as much as you can with chris so you can finally fuck him and not feel guilty about it
