Chapter 3

After the little stunt Hanoi pulled off with our homeroom teacher (surprise surprise), the head principal suddenly appeared out of no where and tried to "straighten" things up. By straightening things up I meant the principal himself casually dragged our teacher like a sack of potatoes out the classroom, our teacher's head looking like a mop as it swept the tiled floors with a squeak.

Before leaving the classroom, the principal stopped by the entrance and turned to everyone with a bone chilling smile. I fought the shiver that tried to run through my body seeing the principal's eyes with killing intent. He was smiling and yet it had a dangerous glint in them that feels as though it was sharper than a katana sword.

I only ever saw such eyes that held so much danger in them, one that I haven't seen in years.

"Sorry for the cold welcome my dear students. Do carry on." the principal said, before he turned and exited quietly without another word. With the man's huge build, it looks as though our adviser weighed like paper, easy to drag and toss around like a rag doll.

Once the principal was out and gone, me and Hanoi exchanged looks seeming to have a mutual understanding.

The principal was not someone to be messed with.

"Bakimono." (Monster) Hanoi muttered.

After that little incident, the remaining classes were fairly normal. Well, as normal as a school for delinquents can get.

For one our English teacher was a woman in her mid-twenties named Ms. Ohara. The red head refused to be called by her first name, claiming it was extremely inappropriate and embarrassing to be called by, by BRATS. Her words, not mine.

"Tch... Don't call me under any circumstances by my first name. Got it brats!?!"

A series of yeses could be heard inside the room.

She was fairly beautiful, but her scowling face and haughty attitude seemed to mold her features into something less than desirable. Even the boys in our class seem to think so as they frowned and pretended to be busy with homework on the first day of school. All to avoid the teacher with a pretty face a few bolts loose on the head.

When the bell rang, I immediately went to fix my things and leave the classroom. I was already at the opening when Hanoi suddenly grabbed my arm quietly. I sighed mentally.

"What gives Hanoi?" I asked.

Hanoi just stared back at me, giving me a look that says "you know what gives".

I didn't say anything anymore. Hanoi walked with me to the canteen.

Walking to the cafeteria, chattering seems to get louder as we entered the premises. Like the rest of Fujizaki High, the hallways had an outdoor view of a dense forest and clear blue skies as the glass walls covered the entire building.

I still can't believe this place was for delinquents.

"Neh Hanoi, nani o tabetaidesu ka?" (Hanoi, what do you want to eat?) I directed to Hanoi.

Hanoi glanced up from his phone and looked at me.

"Shiitakekinoko igai no mono. Sore wa dokudesu." (Anything but shiitake mushrooms. That shit is poison.) he said.

"Hai. Wakata." (Okay, I understand.) I said with a smile.

Hanoi resumed typing busily into his phone as he sat by an empty table near the gigantic glass windows. I made my way to the lunch line to get our food when the doors to the canteen opened with a bang and I noticed the chattering had quickly died down and only faint footsteps can be heard through the deafening silence of the dining hall.

The sea of people parted to reveal a group of tall individuals, save for a single violet-haired female, going towards the area where my brother currently sat. They surrounded my brother like a looming storm waiting to crash their thunder unto an unsuspecting victim. Too bad they don't know my brother too well.....

"Shinda baka..." (dead idiots..) I mumbled as I turned my attention back at the food in front of me. I grabbed a fancy bread of some kind and two bottles of soda with a tray of pasta balancing on my other arm.

When I went to check on my brother, a resounding crash and shattering of something had rung in the silence of the cafeteria.

"I said, ARE YOU DEAF!?!" the boy with a strong built and midnight black hair screamed at a stoic looking Hanoi. "THIS IS OUR TABLE!!!!!"

Hanoi simply stood up and walked towards the pieces of his smashed phone and picked them up silently. All eyes followed him as he silently went towards where I was and pulled me lightly by my sleeve out the cafeteria door. Once we were outside, he rummaged through his coat pockets pulled out another phone and resumed typing.

"Neh Hanoi," I asked as I opened my can of soda, "Daijoubo?" (You okay?)

"Karera wa boku no imōto no gakkō no saisho no hida to saiwaidesu." (They're lucky it's my little sister's first day of school.) he mumbled. I couldn't quite hear it so I asked again.

"Nani datte?" (What was that?)

Hanoi grunted before replying "Nani mo." (Nothing.)

"Anata ga sō ittara..." (If you say so...)

After finding a shady tree outside in the open school garden, my twin and I ate quietly, the cool wind and rustling of trees a welcomed presence amidst our eventful afternoon.

"Hey Ryo! Have you seen the look on that kid's face?" his raven-haired friend hollered, "Priceless! Fucking priceless!"

Ryo just shrugged, choosing not to reply to his company. In his head, the so called "kid" looked anything but scared.

And there was also the girl the boy was with. She looked familiar. Ryo tried his best to remember but it was hard when his friend was nagging at him left and right about nonsensical things.

"I mean, the guy looked like he was close to peeing himself HAHAHAHAH!!!"

"Max, shut the fuck up. You're hurting my eardrums man!!" the violet-head said, cutting off the boisterous laughing made by the black-haired giant. "We get it! The kid was a whimp and you're a big, strong ape. Now shut up!!"

"Why don't you shove your books where the sun don't shine eh?!? Maybe then, you'd start looking like a man!" Max countered.

Ryo sighed internally but kept his mask of indifference in place. This time though, a smile slipped in his face as he ate his food.

He remembered where he saw that girl from before.

Picture above would be the dangerous principal. A bit young for his role but you'd be seeing a lot more of Mr. Watanashi in the next chapters. Stay tuned! :)

I'll just go back to hibernation until this story reaches at least 1500 reads @-@

Bye for now~
