Chapter 2

"Hana-chan~" the voice said, "wakey wakey~"

I grunted, but the annoying voice was persistent. This time, it had the guts to poke me in the face.

First poke went to my nose.

Second to my cheek.

Then the idiot started to pinch my cheeks.

I knew then, it was my bonehead of a brother.

"Akane, do that one more time," I said with eyes still closed, "and you'll have one less finger to annoy me with."

Akane just laughed at my threat, ruffling my already messy hair. All of my brothers have a bad habit of destroying my hair. Hanoi was probably the only one who didn't do it.....

"Oh Hana-chan, you're so cute when your threatening your big brother." He sighed. "So kawaii~"

"What do you want Akane?" I grunted.

"Hana," he said seriously, "you do know what today is right?"

I stared back at Akane with questioning eyes until it finally clicked. My eyes widened.

"Kuso!!! I'm late!!!!" I said, pushing Akane to the side and running to the bathroom. "Move aside four eyes!!!" I can hear Akane laughing as I ran for my life towards the shower.

"Come on down after you're done Hana-chan!" Akane called out in my room, "I made a special breakfast for you!".

After he said that, his booming laughter grew fainter as he probably left my room. Breakfast and Akane?

What was that bonehead up to?

After my hasty shower, I found my school uniform hanging by my closet door. It was a traditional, japanese uniform-- a white blouse with a black lining paired with a black, plaid skirt that I insisted went past my knees. It also comes with a black blazer that I rushed to get on, on my way down to the dining hall.

After towel drying my short hair, I made my way downstairs in record speed.

I swear I set up my alarm at 6 o clock for today, and when things dont work the way they're supposed to, it has Akane written all over it.

"Hana-chan, ohayou," Tanaka greeted, "Sit, come join us."

"Ohayou gozaimasu," I said bowing formally "minna-san".

Akane was already seated at Tanaka's left side, while seated next to him was Hanoi. A bored looking Hanoi just looked at me and nodded his head. Gino's seat was empty though.

"Gino nii-chan's still sleeping," Akane said "rough night with the Akihiros."

"I see." I mumbled quietly, settling down in my seat.

Tanaka clapped and said a "Let's eat!" as the servants had their go sign to serve the foods. When my covered dish was placed in front of me, I could hear Akane snickering at the background. When I glared at him, he just smiled back at me mockingly.

"Go on Hana-chan~" he said smiling "Look at what big brother made for you~".

When I lifted the covering of my dish, my eyes burned with the words written on my omu-rice with big red ketchup smeared letters.

You're not ugly Hana-chan, society is~ Love, Akane-onii.

Looking down at my plate, I saw additional writing. He probably can't fit it all in my omu-rice.

P.S. Sure you don't have any friends, but at least you have your stone-cold b*tch face! C:

Oh how I wanted to strangle Akane so bad right now, but I resisted. My hand was twitching to throw something at him, anything, but I calmly grabbed my table knife sitting at my right side and gently ate my food in silence. Akane's laugh just boomed seeing my internal struggle.

Tanaka suddenly grabbed the table knife and buried it forcefully at the table, hilt deep.

"Akane," Tanaka warned. "Eat."

Akane shut up then. I smiled as Tanaka nii-chan winked at me as I continued to eat in silence.

Sometimes, you have to take the peaceful way.

☆☆☆☆Meanwhile☆☆☆☆

"Take care Hana-chan!" Tanaka said, waving "Call if you need anything!"

"Wakata Tanaka-onii." (I understand Brother) I replied, getting inside the family car. Before I could close the door, a foot wedged itself in between. Hanoi's masked face came into view as he stared at me quietly.

"Nande Hanoi?" (What is it Hanoi?) I asked him.

"Oh Hana-chan, did we forget to tell you?" Akane's voice said from nowhere. He stood at the door behind Hanoi with a sickeningly sweet smile, and right then I knew it meant trouble.

"Hanoi goes to Fujizaki High!!!" Akane said excitedly "Isn't that great!?!"

Akane's laughter continues to be the most annoying sound I've ever had the displeasure of hearing.

☆☆☆☆Meanwhile☆☆☆☆

Hanoi and I rode in silence. He rarely utters a word so I didn't really find a need to start a conversation. Besides, we were both comfortable with the silence.

As the trees and buildings pass us and the silence stretched even further, I can't help but wonder how different this delinquent school can be from Altair Academy. If it can live up to its reputation, then we won't have any problem.

Besides, the chaos was what I wanted in the first place.

Thinking back to my conversation with my brothers, that one faithful evening, a week before now, I should have known they were planning something. They wouldn't just let me lose the family guards!! I should have known they would do something as crazy as sending my twin with me to the same school!!!

The car started to to slow down as several, ginormous buildings came into view. The car went into a complete stop as tall, black painted gates lay towering over us. I saw the driver's window open and he spoke through this box-like thing after pressing a button. Soon after, the gates opened and we were rounding up the wide grass field of the school.

Once inside school grounds, you could clearly see the buildings were magnificent! Some buildings were dome-shaped, others spiralling, while the one we were currently slowing to a stop at was simply a masterpiece.

Every inch of it was covered in glass, save for the supporting beams and foundations. Glass walkways, stairs, and walls where, in the bright reflection of the morning sun, looks beautiful beyond any words.

"Hanoi," I said, getting his attention.

Hanoi transferred his attention from his phone to me with a questioning look.

"Are you sure we're in a delinquent school?" I elaborated. "This looks like an art school."

Hanoi kept quiet before gazing outside and looking at the view of the impressive infrastructure before us. Seconds after, he looked back to me, and with a bored look, simply nodded and went back to typing in his phone.

Some suit-clad man started descending the stairs of the beautiful building and went to stop at our car door. He opened it with a smile on his face as Hanoi and I made our way outside.

"Welcome to Fujizaki High," he greeted with enthusiasm "follow me."

The man gestured for us to follow him inside. We turned through several hallways, and finally settled on a set of black, double doors with the words "Office" printed in golden letters at the top.

"Welcome to Fujizaki High Mr. and Ms. Kiyamura!" the man said, "Please take a seat as I get your schedules for a moment." He said, gesturing to the seats right at the sides.

Minutes later the same man came carrying two pieces of paper and handed it to us.

As Hanoi remained unmoving, I bowed formally to the man in front of us in gratitude.

"Arigatou Gozaimasu." (Thank you very much) I said.

The man smiled at me and Hanoi, despite Hanoi's lack of enthusiasm to express his gratitude.

"You're welcome," he said with his ever present smile.

It was probably the first time a school personnel didn't tremble at the sight of us. It was refreshing.

☆☆☆☆Meanwhile☆☆☆☆

"Neh Hanoi, what do you have now?"

Hanoi didn't quite answer me but instead handed me his schedule. I scanned through and compared it with mine while Hanoi was alternating between looking at me and typing on his phone.

Let's see..... Math, English, History.... Break....

Wait a minute....

"Hanoi," I called to him, stopping in my tracks. Hanoi stopped to look at me again with curiosity.

"Why do we have the same schedule!?"

Hanoi just stared at me blankly and shrugged.

"Wakarimasen." (I don't know.) he answered quietly.

First, they throw my twin with me, and now, we have the same schedule too!?! The urge to strangle a certain four eyed creature is getting stronger.

Deep breaths Hana, deep breaths.

"Nevermind Hanoi," I said wih a sigh "Haiyaku (Hurry). I don't want to be late at the first day."

When we got to our classroom, Room 1-A, Hanoi stepped in front of me and entered the room first.
The chatting from inside instantly stopped and all eyes seem to focus on the new comers, which was us. There were two vacant seats up front so Hanoi proceeded to occupy the center one so I sat without a word on his left side.

Then came the whisperings like:

"Are they new?"

"Are they robots or something?"

"I've never seen them before!"

"Why is he wearing a mask?!"

"I bet they're schedules got mixed!"

"I know! They look like they belong to the F class!"

"Those guys are freaks!"

"Are they together?"

For heaven's sake. URUSAI. (SHUT UP)

The door opened once again and a young man walked hastily to the front desk. He dropped his filing case at the table and faced the class as the whisperings finally died down.

He cleared his throat before speaking. "Good morning everyone! Welcome to the first day of classes!"

"I am Mr. Yamamoto and I'll be your adviser for the entire semester." His eyes widened a fraction when his eyes landed on Hanoi and I. He stopped mid way of introduction and browsed through his filing case in a haste.

"Oh my bad," He said with a laugh, "it seems we have 2 new transferees here!"

"Would you guys mind introducing yourselves?" He urged on. I resisted my own urge to roll my eyes.

Walking up front with Hanoi standing beside me, I spoke.

"I am Kiyamura Hana, and this is my twin brother, Kiyamura Hanoi." I said, pointing to Hanoi who was busy typing on his phone.

"Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!" (I will be in your care!) I finished with a formal bow. Hanoi thankfully did the same, tucking his phone in his pant pocket before bowing as well.

"Yoroshiku." (Take care of me.) he said simply.

"Kiyamura.. tch.." Mr.Yamamoto muttered. The sudden change of mood from our young adviser was fairly noticeable.

"Jigoku he ike,"(Go to hell,) he grunted with a crazed smile. "KIYAMURAAAA!!!"

And as Mr. Yamamoto went to grab something from inside his bag, Hanoi's movement went pass in a blur, immediately connecting his hand to the crazed teacher's neck.  Mr. Yamamoto choked with the impact and fell back from the teacher's table.

Snap.

Thud.

"Kusokurae." (You piece of shit.) Hanoi muttered.

He looked at the Teacher's unconscious form one last time before fishing his phone out from his pocket, sitting back in his chair, and typing away.

So much for first impressions.
