FOUR DAYS LATER

I looked out my room window as i watched the trees i had grown to love whisper as the wind blew through them

My all white wedding dress flawlessly flowing to the ground as questions continuously made their way into my head

I walked away from the window, making my way to the 8'ft long mirror that stood boldly in a coner.

"You can do this" i heard my mom said as she walked close to me, holdkng me by my shoulder as a small smile played on her face

I knew she wasn't there, i knew it was my imagination but i needed her nonetheless, real or not real

I raised up my hand to rest on hers but she pulled away saying the same words she had previously said
"You can do this"

"Mom?" I was about to tell her not to go, i wanted her to tell me everything would be okay and i wouldnt live miserably for the rest of my life

"Quiet now my butterfly, everything will be okay" she said as she grazed my cheeks with her finder tip

I was about to respond when i heard the door open

Chloe's head popped out, a huge smile appeared on her face when she saw me, and an even bigger one appeared when she looked at my dress

"OMG, you look- you look just OMG" i couldn't help but laugh, her face had turned read and she looked like she held her breath in for too long

"You look beautiful del" she said as she hugged me tight, seconds after i could hear little hiccups so i knew she was crying

"Don't do that Chloe you'll make me cry too and I've done enough of that" i said as i gave her gently pats on her back

"I know del, its just you've been through so much and-" her sentence was cut off when she started crying again

I can't believe i told her, but i needed to. To a point i trusted her more than i could trust myself and i knew i needed here with me today

----FLASHBACK----

I walked towards her front door with a plate of grilled chicken and a guard close behind

I knocked on the door just once and it almost flew open

"Del!!!, where's the chicken" she said over excitedly as she snatched the plate from me

" i knew you couldn't be that excited about me coming over" i said, walking in after her as she made her way to the kitchen... total foodie

"No, i had to attend to bae first, and you know who the love of my life is" she said frok the other room

"Grilled chicken" i said in a low voice, chuckling a little

"Spill it dell" she said pointing her chicken at me

"Spill what?"

"The secrets" she said scrunchung her face to look like a scary creature

"Okay,first promise you wont freakout" i said looking into her eyes

"I won't, promise"

"Fine"

"I'm getting married" i said looking at the tv

"You're getting what?!!!" She yelled throwing the chicken over the sofa

"Married"

"How?,when?, you're 18" she said looking ay me confused

"Okay how about i put it like this, my dad's dead, his company goes to me and for some reason i can't take control of it unless i get married"

"Your dad's dead?" She said utterly shocked as she placed the plate on the table

" are you okay?, OMG del why didnt you tell me?, when did this happen?"

"Recently, yes I'm okay"

"Who are you getting married to?, that guy? The one that came over that day?"
This was one thing about Chloe that could never go unnoticed, she asked a lot of question and her excuse was always "i ask because i want to know"

"Yep" all i coukd say, talking about my dad's death hurt more than i was letting her see

"Del, I'm so sorry about uour dad" she said, coming close to me for a hug

She wrapped her arms around me crying like a little kid, i couldn't hold it anymore

I let myself ease out all rhw pain as we both cried like babies

"When's the wedding?" She asked cleaning her tears

"In two days" i said taking in a deep breath

"WHAT?!"

i sat in my room talking to chloe as maids continuously walked in and out of my room

I wanted chloe to do my makeup, she always begged to give me a makeover and i decided today would be the best day to let her 'revamp' my face

About and hour later she was done and i was looking into the mirror completely stunned

I didn't have bags under my eyes like i did earlier

"you look stunning" she said holding some kinda brush

"But you need more blush"

I walked into the big as hall, fear and nervousness creeping up my throat causing me to feel nauseous

My heels made clicking sounds on the marble floor as i walked closer to the altar where Alonzo stood

A stray tears slid down my cheek as i climbed up the altar

I didn't want to be married at 18

"Do you Mr Alonzo Hernandez take Miss Delilah Velasco to be your lawfully wedded wife , to have and to hold, from this day forward , for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"

"I do"

And do you miss Delilah Velasco take Alonzo Hernandez to be your lawfully wedded husband , to have and to hold, from this day forward , for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"

"I- I do" i said as another tear rode down my cheek

"I now pronounce you Man and wife, you may now kiss the bri-"

Blood stained my once white dress as the pop fell to the ground with a loud thud

The croud quickly began to scatter as men cam rushing in, bullets flew through the air and at this point all i could think aboit was Chloe

Alonzo grabbed me by the waist shoving me into the arms of a guard as i continued to yell
"Chloe!, Chloe!!"

I couldn't see her in the croud of men and womem running up and down

A little while later i was dragged out of the church through a back door in my stained wedding dress

Alonzo was knowhere to be found as so was Chloe

"I caused this, i caused this, if anything happens to her it's all my fault"
