JACK BREWER was pretty damn stubborn, most, if not all of the Brewer's were pretty damn stubborn, but Jack ranked number one on the list.

But if he really wanted to see a smile on Rory's face he would very reluctantly, put both him and her back into the group with Johnny and Daniel.

Rory parked her car outside of the dojo and looked over at Robby who sat in the passenger seat.

The two of them, after talking to Jack and Layla for hours on end, were taking things slow.

So, yeah, they were together again. It took a lot of convincing to get them here, but here they were, together once again.

"Are you ready?" Rory asked with a smile.

Robby only looked over at her, her smile was bright. It was clear that she was happy, probably the happiest she's been in a long time.

She had her boyfriend, her family dynamic was great, she had her best friends, and she was back at karate.

She was happy and Robby wasn't going to bring her down by saying that he felt unwanted in the dojo before he stepped foot inside.

So he nodded, giving her a small smile. "Yeah, totally."

Rory held her smile, stepping out of her car and pulling her spandex down and practically skipping her way inside the dojo before turning around to look at Robby.

"I'll go butter 'em up!" She smiled. "It'll be all right!"

Robby gave her a sincere smile, slowly entering the dojo and seeing Rory making her way over to Miguel, Hawk, and Demetri.

"Look who's back." Demetri smiled, stretching his arms, "Didn't think I'd see you... or him, back here."

Rory sighed, bouncing on her toes, "Come on. Give him a chance. He's... done some pretty fucked up things—"

"Yeah, no shit." Hawk muttered.

"But so have you." She finished. "Other than Demetri being a smartass—"

"Excuse me?"

"You broke Demetri's arm, remember?" Rory continued, "I'm not saying we forget what he did, but he's not a bad person and neither are you. So, could you all just... try to get along. For the sake of the dojo?"

She wouldn't receive her answer at the moment as Mr. Chozen Toguchi called them over to start training.

He was friends with Mr. LaRusso and was apparently "helping his family" according to Sam.

"Today. you train with me." He said. He spoke in Japanese and called them to stand in attention and bow. "Cobra Kai gaining ground. We must prepare. Come."

The followed behind Sensei Toguchi and he stood in front of a small table.

"Now, we learn about Yanbaru Kuina."

"What is that?" Chris asked, "Like, some top-secret karate move? Like a throat rip?"

"No. It is bird. In English called Okinawa rail. Endangered. Cannot fly."

Demetri shrugged his shoulders. "Hence, endangered."

Sensei Toguchi placed a carton of eggs onto the table and the group only looked down at them.

Miguel furrowed his brows, "So these are the real eggs?"

"No. Trader Joe's. 3.29." Sensei Toguchi answered. "Take egg."

Each of them grabbed an egg, some holding them carefully and others only looking down at the with confusion written on their faces.

"Yanbaru Kuina must protect egg. From Kume Shima habu. Poison snake. You must do same." He explained, "Begin your preparation."

"What are we protecting them from?" Robby asked.

"From me."

With that, the group ran off to try and come up with some ideas they could use to protect their egg.

And soon enough, one by one, (some of the getting out at the same time) were caught by Sensei Toguchi.

They all stood in a line as they watched him making eggs in front of them.

"You are not good Yanbaru Kuina. Snakes will take you down one by one. I have tried to tell you what you must do. But you do not listen." Sensei Toguchi said, "You must learn to adapt. Or soon, you will be extinct. Take new eggs. Try again."

Sam sighed, grabbing the carton of eggs and bringing them over to the others.

"Sensei Toguchi's real cryptic, like Mr. LaRusso, but aggressive like Sensei Lawrence, but also assertive like Sensei Brewer." Demetri said to the group.

"It's like the hardest part of all their styles." Chris said.

"Can't wait to get our asses kicked again." Mitch sighed.

"Okay," Rory quipped, "working alone obviously didn't work. Why would we try and do that again? He took each of us down one by one... some getting out at the same time, but he can't attack us all at once."

Anthony looked up. "What if we had a raiding party like in Dungeon Lords?"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah!" Demetri exclaimed, "Even if you're a level 85, you can't mount an attack on the grand realm alone."

"Exactly." Hawk smiled, "You need a team. Everybody has a special role."

Rory smiled, "The only way we can protect this egg and win is if we work together as one."

With that, they grabbed a random hat and put all of their eggs inside. They surrounded them so everyone had all eyes over the dojo to make sure Sensei Toguchi couldn't and wouldn't get to the eggs.

He soon came running in and with a bo staff in hand, he went in to attack, but with everyone fighting on one side, they were able to protect the eggs and get rid of Sensei Toguchi's bo staff.

"Snake concede." Sensei Toguchi smiled, "This is what we have that Cobra Kai does not. Their movement mile wide, but only inch deep. But our movement, inch wide, but miles deep. Now that you have learned to work together, I will teach you how to master your defense."

Soon, practice was over and Robby and Rory walked out of the dojo.

"He really knows his shit." Rory smiled, "God, that felt good didn't it?"

Robby smiled, gently bumping into the girl, "Yeah... I'm glad we all got along."

Rory held her smile and took Robby's hand, resting her cheek against his shoulder blade as they walked back to Rory's car.

"God, I'm so glad it all worked out. It feels good that we can get along like that... as stupid as that may sound." She chuckled, "Good things are coming. I can feel it."

She would be wrong.
