THIRTY. winner takes it all

RORY tugged on the ends of her ponytail as she and Belle made their way out of the car and towards the waterpark.

They had been invited by Sam and a couple of others to hang out. To try and get her mind off of some things.

Her and Miguel had called it quits again and she just needed some girl time. Some rest and relaxation with some of her closest friends.

Rory had her floral printed towel wrapped around her shoulder as she looked down at her feet, listening to Belle spill on and on about how she would break the news that her and Robby were back to seeing each other again.

Rory looked over at her sister, her brown sunglasses dimming the sight of her twin. Rory had worn a white bikini top with matching high waisted bottoms.

"... and then you bring him out and BAM! They have no choice but to accept because he's been in the room the entire time."

Rory only chuckled, "That's the dumbest shit I've ever heard."

Belle scoffed. "I'm not hearing any ideas from you, bitch. I've been coming up with ideas, great ones, for you and I've nothing but complaints from you for days."

"I'm just weighing out my options before I decide what to do." Rory said, "I mean, I'm not even sure where Robby and I even stand. He's not with Cobra Kai anymore, but that doesn't mean he's all off a sudden the golden child. Almost everyone at Myagi-Do still hates him, mom and dad don't want me with someone who's been to, what they call, prison—"

"I'm so glad I don't have to deal with shit like this." Belle said.

They entered the waterpark Belle quickly spotted Sam, Moon, and Yasmine and rushed over to them.

Rory smiled, making her way over, but her name was soon called. She looked over, seeing Robby making his way over towards her.

She softly smiled, a genuine one as she looked over at her friends who hadn't paid her much mind before she looked back over at Robby and meeting him halfway.

"Hey." He smiled.

Rory returned the genuine smile. "Hi."

Robby didn't want to push Rory's boundaries. He was already back to square one and sneaking into her house again and he knew that her friends, her best friends, weren't very fond of him.

Rory only smiled, her hand taking his gently, "I've missed you."

"Missed you too." He smiled.

"How was Mexico?" She asked, "Did you and Johnny go to the beach? Get souvenirs?"

"Uh... It wasn't really that kind of trip." He answered, "But, uh, we did work out a few of our issues." He paused, his eyes leaving hers as he looked over. Rory's eyes followed and landed over onto Miguel's. "There's still some that are too big to solve."

Robby sighed, looking back over at Rory, "Look, um, I've been thinking about this for a while now, and I was wondering if you'd consider letting me meet your parents?"

Rory raised her eyebrows. "You want to meet my parents?"

"Yeah," He paused, "that's the reason you and I are... in this situation now, right? Sneaking around." Robby asked, "I just want to show them that I've changed."

Rory gave his hand a small squeeze, smiling towards him. It meant a lot to her that he was even willing to meet them... let alone be around them knowing that he wasn't very well liked by them, but he really did care for Rory and wanted to be with her.

She let her mind race before she sighed, looking over at him with a soft smile.

"Come over tomorrow night."

Robby softly smiled, a smile glint in his eyes, "Are you sure?"

Rory nodded. "Yeah. Come over at eight."

It was spontaneous and something Rory knew would probably blow up in her face because Jack and Layla Brewer wanted nothing to do with Robby Keene.

Robby returned Rory's gentle squeeze and smiled.

"I'm gonna go check up on Sam." Rory softly spoke, "I'll let you know more about tomorrow later."

Robby nodded, giving Rory's hand one last squeeze before watching her maker her way over to her other friends.

Rory smiled down at her hands. At the moment, she really wanted everything to align for her, but she knew how persistent her parents were. If they wanted something, they would get it without struggling.

And all Rory ever wanted to do was to please her parents, but she really wanted to be with Robby and at this point she would do almost anything to be with him.

After some time, a loud commotion could be heard from afar and Miguel, Sam, Hawk, and Rory all looked over to see a small group from Cobra Kai and Myagi-Do pushing each other around.

"You kidding me with his bullshit again?" Hawk muttered, "And there's Keene." He scoffed, looking over at Miguel, "You said he wasn't in Cobra Kai anymore."

"It's what sensei told me."

Hawk and Miguel went over to try and diffuse the situation, but the lifeguard came down and blew his whistle to control the situation on his own.

They soon decided on a race, whoever made their way down the waterslide first wins the park and loser would have to leave

Rory made her way over to the slide, her arms crossed over her chest as she stood next to Robby.

With her arms still crossed, she pressed her cheek against his bare shoulder blade. The two of them looking up at the slide to see Tory and Hawk at the top and their eyes watching the slide as Tory was first out.

Meaning whoever was associated in a positive way with Miyagi-Do had to leave.

Hawk called bullshit and turned, looking over at Kenny.

Hawk held his swimming ring in his hands as he made his way over to Kenny, throwing his ring into the pool as he called Kenny out.

And as Hawk turned, not wanting to fight the boy, Kenny leaped first.

Rory lifted her head from Robby's shoulder as she watched Hawk and Kenny go back and forth with each other.

Robby rushed over, pushing Hawk into the pool and Miguel soon came over, looking over at Robby with distaste in his eyes.

The lifeguard blew his whistle once more and told everyone to leave the park.

Rory sighed, making her way back over to Belle who threw Rory her towel. She didn't even get to dip her feet into the fucking water before everything exploded.

Rory and Belle began making their way towards Rory's car before she heard her named being called by Robby.

She handed her keys over to Belle and turned, seeing the boy jogging towards her.

"Rory, I didn't start—"

Rory smiled, gently punching his shoulder, "I know, dude." She reassured. "I know you want everyone out of Cobra Kai, but you can't keeping trying if none of them are budging."

Robby sighed, looking down at the ground.

Rory held a small smile, her towel thrown over her shoulder as she cupped her hands onto his cheeks and caressing them.

"Don't worry too much about them, okay? They'll learn on their own."

Robby looked up at her. Her smile small, but her heart truly big. Robby really did love and care for her in ways he never thought he could feel about a person.

His entire life, he'd seen nothing but hate, but something about Rory was different.

Rory smiled, watching Robby's grow. She pressed her forehead against his for a moment before pressing a quick kiss against his lips.

"I'll text you and let you know about tomorrow." She muttered, her hands dropping from his cheeks and down his chest, "Thank you for doing this."

Robby nodded and let the girl go, watching her make her way to her car.

All he wanted to do was make her happy and his first step was getting in with her family.
