I was deleted... it could happen to anyone...

Before the deletion

As I walk down the streets of my home I see all the city lights and the programming on the sky. I call them stars, because they just seemed to be a type of thing to be called stars. I dunno why. I just process that way. as I walk I see all the people in a rush to get home. for it was about 11:35 pm and they needed to get home before everything shuts down or they get arrested. that's why I walk, I don't get in trouble that way. I say that forgetting about what my parents may do. I look around and see a store with some nicknacks and that stuff and I walk to it, it had some cool things, fudge they had some really COOL things. key chains, trading cards for pokecode(weird version of Pokemon) books, drawings, and even some candy. man this store has everything. I noticed that it was open, I smiled and walked inside. "hello?" I said as I walked in. there was a man at the desk, he smiled "hello my code, what can I do for you" he said somewhat quietly. "can I have those pokecode trading cards?" I asked. he smiled "who would of thought a girl likes pokecode" he said getting the cards. "it's for anyone really sir, not only for boy codes" I said getting my money. "you have a point" he said, "$3.27" he said. I have him the amount and received the cards, I smiled "thank you sir" I said as I walked out. "see you soon young code" he said smiling. I walked home and as I walked through the door there stood my parents, my mother looking worried and my dad looking angry. as they saw me my mom rushed to my and hugged me "Nova! I was so worried!" She said. "um... ok?" I said confused. "Where were you young lady" asked my father madly. I gulped "I was in the city, I got some cards" I said holding up my pokecode cards, but I knew what was going to happen so I pulled out the cards and put them in my pocket. he looked even madder. "you wasted your money on these?! Why are you so stupid!" He said as he took the wrapper of the cards and threw them in the fire. I looked disappointed and ran to my room, with tears in my eyes I slammed my door. "why does my father do this" I said taking the cards out of my pocket and I grabbed my special box that is under my bed. I looked at my cards and place them with my other cards. I had about one hundred cards in the box. I put my box back under my bed, and pressed my head against the door to hear my parents talk. "honey you seemed harsh on nova" my mother said. "she needs to know discipline, if she doesn't get any, she will get deleted" my father said. I rolled my eyes at the thought of deletion. "But don't be so harsh, she's a child code, she still needs to learn" my mother said. "oh please I'm 15, I'm not a child code" I whispered. "well I'm her father and I'm just doing what's best for her" my father said. "well I'm her mother and just loosen up a little" mother said. "alright, but only for you" my father said. "yes" I whispered. i then laid down on my bed, all the lights were out, and I stared at the ceiling, thinking. "What if I do get deleted.... I wouldn't be able to do anything here anymore. I don't want that.... honestly I don't" I said, "I shouldn't worry about it. it's not like it's actually gonna happen... right?" I questioned. I then fell asleep and dreamt of my future and the man in the store I saw. and I dreamt about the thought of deletion. but it wasn't gonna happen... was it?
