Josh's POV

I felt bad for leaving Ruby alone the whole time I was at the party. To make it up to her, I bought her a rose, more importantly it was the color ruby.

I knock on her door, waiting for her to answer.

After a few minutes, my phone starts to go off; bundles of Tweets were sent my way. I start to look through my notifications and read the comments.

"Your girlfriend's a cheater"
"I would breakup with her if I were you"
"How dare she treat Jishwa like that?!"
"Are you aware of what she did?"
"She's a no-good cheater"
"She's probably with that guy from last night"
*video attachment*

I stare at the messages in disbelief. No, Ruby wouldn't do that to me.

I click on the video someone sent me, it was Ruby making out with another guy from last night.

I put my phone in my back pocket and throw the rose onto the ground. I storm off in anger and confusion, with tears streaming down my face, making my vision blurry.

As I started to run down the stairs to my apartment, Ruby called my name. I don't respond or look back, I just run down the stairs even faster.

Once I get to my apartment, I lock my door and close all the window so Ruby can't see me.

My phone starts to buzz again, but this time it's Tyler. "What do you want?" I snarl. "Did you see the video?" I mentally roll my eyes, "of course I saw it, Tyler!" I try to maintain a steady breath stream. "All my feeds are full with videos, comments, and pictures of what Ruby did."

"I guess thats what you get for dating a fan." I mumble under my breath. "Josh, I'm coming over." I sniffle, "Why?" I try to rub the the tears away. "I know you're crying right now, Josh, I'm not stupid." I hang up, not bothering to say goodbye.

A few minutes have past, Tyler busts through my door. "I thought I locked it!" I yell in anger. "R- she left her key in my car so I thought I would use it."

I burry my face into a pillow in attempt to muffle my sobs. Tyler sits next to me and holds me tight in his arms. "Josh, I don't think it happened on purpose." Tyler whispers. "Yes it did." I blurt out, not caring to hear what he was to say.

Tyler and I just sit in silent, but it's quickly interrupted by my phone going off. "Answer it." Tyler's tone is hoarse from not speaking. I shake my head and he rolls his eyes.

It goes off again. "Josh, answer Ruby, she doesn't know what's going on." I keep on ignoring it until Tyler's face turns red. "Joshua, pick up the damn phone!"

"I'm leaving, Josh." Tyler slams the door shut. I pick up my phone in rage and start to play the voicemails.

"Josh, whats going on"
"Please call me back, did I do something wrong"
"Can you please tell me why you're ignoring me"
"If Tyler is with you give it to him so he can at least tell me what's wrong"
"I'm calling Tyler, Joshua"

Ruby's POV

I call Tyler, while tapping my foot on the floor from being impatient. "Hey," Tyler's voice sounds dry. "Why won't he answer me!" I yell into the phone. "Josh saw the video." I furrow my eyebrows in confusion, "what video?"

"T- the one where you and the guy were kissing, f- from last night." Tyler stutters. "Tyler!" My throat starts to clench. "I rejected the guy and he kissed me, I tried to get him to stop but he wouldn't." I start to cry; loud enough for Tyler to hear.

"M- maybe you can make it up to him." He says in a panicking tone. "Tomorrow is my last day, Tyler." I say in between sobs. "Come over to my house later today so you can record the song you never showed him, then say you need to talk to him and that you're leaving tomorrow." I agree with his plan. "I'll see you in a few." I say before hanging up.
