Third Person's POV

"You look great, Junho." Miyun complimented with a smile on her face. Junho looked down at her and mirrored her smile.

"Thank you." He said and flicked Miyun's forehead jokingly. Miyun's hand flew over her forehead and rubbed it.

Miyun's eyes then landed on Junho's clothing. "Fix your collar, idiot." She said, making Junho walk to the mirror and check for himself.

"The two of us are already engaged, why does this seem like a first date?" He wiggled his eyebrows and joked.

Miyun scoffed. "You said every date matters between you two. She might not like you with your collar like that. Now go out and pick Soojung up." She demanded, making Junho sigh.

But Miyun suddenly thought of something.

"I can't believe you're marrying my best friend, and thinking about the fact that you asked me to help you choose clothes for another date bothers me." She rolled her eyes.

Junho sighed and looked at Miyun in the eye before pulling her into a hug, "Thank you, Miyun." He said before leaving his own apartment. Miyun diverted her eyes to Junho's sister who's sitting on the dining table with her laptop on top of it, eyes glued on its screen.

"Dongsaengie, I'm leaving now. Thanks for welcoming me in.. again. I appreciate your hospitality and kindness." Miyun told Junho's sister. She smiled and stood up to escort Miyun out of the door quietly.

"It's nothing."

Ever since Miyun went out of Junho's apartment, she can't help but feel glad Junho since he's already getting married. The first time she met him felt only like yesterday but it was already four years ago.

Junho and Soojung turned out to be friends a little longer than Miyun thought. They started talking to each other everyday three years ago but they knew each other longer than that. Juinho's pretty lucky to have someone like Soojung.

They're still friends for that long and that's something Miyun was proud to say.

Miyun stood still outside, waiting for a taxi, her hands on her pockets. Then suddenly, her phone made a sound that made her flinch in surprise. Her sister messaged her in Kakaotalk.

12:36 pm

Onee-chan: Miyunniiieeeeee

Onee-chan: Can you please buy stuff at a convenience store there for me?? *^*

Onee-chan: I want loads of ice cream, peanut butter, sprinkles, sausages, pasta and cookies. For the cookies they should be shortbread ones.

Onee-chan: Pleaseeeeeee?

12:38 pm

Miyun: What the hell are you making???

Onee-chan: Just buy them.

Onee-chan: plz :c

Miyun: fineeeeeeee.

12:40 pm

Miyun: I'll be back at 1pm, don't panic like you always do.

Onee-chan: Yaaaaaay :)

Onee-chan: thanku

Miyun stepped in the convenience store nearby where she goes to most frequently. She immediately stopped from her tracks when she got another message in Kakaotalk.

She opened the message and slowly entered the store. It's from someone she's not friends with.

1:24 pm

Eeiwb: hello

Eeiwb: heeeeeeeeellllllloooooo

1:26 pm

Miyun: Who are you?

1:28 pm

Eeiwb: your kouhai :>

Miyun: hmmm

Miyun: sorry kouhai

Miyun: i dont usually talk to strangers anymore :(((

Eeiwb: really? :(

Miyun: uh-huh.

Eeiwb: you liarrrrrrrr

"What do you mean you don't talk to strangers?" Miyun suddenly heard a guy's voice in front of her, making her flinch. She rose her head to look up at the person, her eyes widening a little because she thought it was a strange. It's was just Taehyung, thankfully.

"Oh, Taehyung, it's just you." She said, accompanied by a sigh. "Why do you hang out in convenience stores? That's really strange." She continued.

"Yah. Don't act like it's not a big deal for you to ignore me in kakao just now." He said and folded his arms, giving her a straight and serious look. (A/N: read the note at the very end if you still think Miyun and Taehyung just met. They obviously met before this. I just didn't show it.)

"I'm sorry, I didn't know you had Kakaotalk anyway! I really don't talk to strangers much now." She said, her lips forming a pout. "I really didn't know you even had it in the first place. What's with the Eeiwb name anyway?" She asked.

Taehyung shrugged.

(A/N: lmao Eeiwb backwards is Bwiee :3)

"I thought I wouldn't make it obvious using it as my name. What brings you here?" Taehyung asked her seriously.

Miyun shrugged as well and continued to find some stuff her sister wanted her to get. Taehyung just followed her silently.

"My sister told me to buy stuff, how about you?" She asked.

"Oh, I come here like thrice a week because I was thinking that maybe I could bump into you... and luckily I did so today." Taehyung said.

"What?" Miyun asked in awe. "You could always tell me to go somewhere with you or something." She laughed and rolled her eyes.

Taehyung was caught in a trance. "Umm, sorry but I always forget about that. By the way, my stepdad told me that I will stay in Korea for good. I like my stepdad a lot." He continued saying, making Miyun smile.

She then got a grip and continued buying stuff as Taehyung watched and followed her.

"I'm glad that you do, it's a good thing. Oh, by the way.. Do you know, Junho is getting married to Soojung next next week? I'm happy for them. And my parents miss you a lot. They haven't seen you ever since you went back to Korea two months ago.. They really treat you like their son." Miyun laughed.

"Son-in-law?" Taehyung asked, smiling.

Miyun looked at him seriously then laughed a little. "Whatever you say, Taehyung." She said in a joking manner. Miyun moved to the counter and paid for the stuff. Ever since they met again two months ago, things were still the same as they were four years ago.

"Seriously... marry me." Taehyung said, making her frozen in spot. "Too early?" He continued.

She smiled and shook her head. "Well, not really, Taehyung.. Soon enough, I will. When I finish school. And you know how much I want to, right?" She said.

"I know, but one more semester is taking ages," Taehyung sadly stated and shook his shoulders back and forth impatiently with a pout on his face.

"Yah, Taehyung. Don't you remember how I waited for you to come back in like four years? I never liked anybody else after you. Everyone around me are having their happy endings while I remained there waiting."

"You're really in love with me, huh? It feels so weird, Miyun. I never thought I'd find someone who spends every second in love with me. I feel blessed."

"Yeah but what matters is that you came back. We'll marry each other— not exactly right now, but I know you're the one I will marry."

Taehyung nodded and his smile grew wider, "I love you."

Miyun smiled, "I love you too." She replied and gave him a quick peck on the lips and went out of the convenience store. "I'll see you later, it's almost 1pm and my sister might throw a tantrum. Goodbye." She left, waving at Taehyung who waved back.

What's the best use of the delete button?

Deleting what would make life worse and keeping the things that would make it the best.

Both Miyun and Taehyung can agree how cheesy this line is- but that's what they had done.

A/N: my heart is cri deep inside </3 there will be no book 3 guys.. so this is how Miyun and Taehyung's story ends :o But of course, life goes on.

Behind the characters:

And I've realised that you all got pissed off at Miyun and Taehyung whilst reading the whole story. That was the essence of Backspace and Delete, how realistic the characters are not the plot. Miyun isn't a heroine, as you can see she has given up on Taehyung so many times. She also didn't think well many times. Miyun isn't a perfect person. And as for Taehyung, not many people open up to people right away, and not all people know what they want. They both were confused and angered by so many things countless of times but see, they made it out together. You can't tell them to 'JUST GET MARRIED ALREADY' because people get insecure, people don't feel worthy, people don't love themselves easily. But look at this? It's a nice ending. I mean it isn't the end, of course.

If you all think Taehyung and Miyun just met again I'mma tell you this.

I thought I made it obvious. They met two months ago and got together because they started again and there were feelings still lingering. Miyun only just found out that Taehyung had kakaotalk now but they really met again. I made it really obvious fam don't make it seem like I didn't.

If they just met again, how will Miyun be able to know that Taehyung hangs out in the convenience stores often? And how will she be able say 'Oh Taehyung, it's just you.' if they just met now? Miyun overreacts so it's pretty impossible that she'll just have a blank expression. And besides, they said I love you's and all, they won't do that if they just met again.
