Damon POV

As I woke up I saw the sun shining through the curtains and I could tell that today was going to be a good day. Then I look over at my beautiful wife and smiled. How did I get so lucky, I thought. And of course she was sleeping, but hey I didn't blame her beacuse I would have slept in if I just gave birth to the most perfect baby girl in the world.

Elena POV

When I woke up I saw the most gorgeous baby blue eyes just staring at me. "Hey baby." Damon said with a smirk. "Morning." I said tiredly. "So why were you staring and smirking at me Damon?" I asked with a smile. "Because I love you Elena." He said with a smile. "I love you too Damon." So we got out of bed and did are morning routine but little did Damon know he was on diper duty today so I couldn't wait to see his face after I reminded him. "Damon." I said with a huge grin. "Yeah." He said while putting on a shirt. "It's your turn for diper duty." He just froze.

Damon POV

As soon as Elena mentioned diper duty I just froze. "Crap." Was all I could say. Then Elena said, "Well get to it, I'll be downstairs with Caroline and Stefan eating breakfast." I sighed, but when I saw my baby girl all I had to do was take a sniff and yeah she was stinky. So after what felt like an hour of battling with the dumb stinky diper I just gave up and called Elena. She came up to the nursery and chuckled. Then she started to do her motherly magic. Then said, "That's how you do it Salvatore."
