Chapter 3

The train started slowing down and coming to a stop as I looked out the window and saw we were at some train platform. Logan looked at his watch and looked up at Chanel. "Right on schedule."

Chanel nodded her head as the train came to a full stop in front of the platform. Logan took out a set of keys from his belt and he shifted through some of them and he started walking over towards me and he unlocked the handcuff fixing me to the metal pole. He then proceeded to hook the handcuff back over my free hand.

I let out a small sigh as he pulled my arm forward towards Chanel and he let go of my arm. Chanel kept pur her arm around my shoulder gently guided me to follow Logan and Gloria as they walked through the train door out of the car. One question I had was why was she being gentle with me and not like the others and why had she told me where they were taking me.

Gloria and Logan walked a few feet ahead of us leaving me alone with Chanel as we stepped onto the pavement below. I noticed a few more people dressed in black armor like she and Gloria were. I just stared at them not noticing Chanel lean her mouth yo my ear to whisper to me.

"Do everything they tell you. Don't argue or try to fight with them. It won't be worth it." She whispered as we moved through the crowd of people dressed in black armor.

"Why are you telling me all of this?" I whispered back as we past them continuing to follow Gloria and Logan.

She kept silent and didn't mutter a word. "Don't ask." She replied quietly.

I looked at her for a moment before I sighed and just turned and faced Logans back. We followed him off the initial train platform and started walking on along the side of a couple of gray warehouses and other sets of buildings with people in that same type of armor working and some of them looked up at me with blank expressions. All of them looked so young. Around my age.

Chanel continued to guide me as we got farther away from the train platform. Towards the direction of a few buildings. "Try to keep up Lieutenant Nakamura." Logan replied with a cold tone in his voice as he stared back at her.

Chanel nodded her head. "Sorry Sir." She started walking faster keeping her hand on my shoulder which forced me to move at the same pace as her.

The 3 of them lead me through more buildings with more soldiers who looked barely over the age of 20 and towards a black truck with some weird looking marks painted on the side that I couldn't quite understand. What the hell did this symbol mean?

"Keep moving, Don't stop." Chanel muttered into my ear as we continued walking forward.

"Alright." I continued to walk forward as she had just told me.

Logan stopped in front of a gray 2 story warehouse. He walked towards one of the guards on duty. "Logan Fellowes." He showed the guard his identification badge.

The female guard stared at his identification card and she nodded her head. I stared at the female guard for a good few seconds. She couldn't be more than my age, she was a little taller than me, bug maybe it was the boots that she was wearing that gave her some extra inches over me. And her Auburn hair was tied tightly back in a bun like Gloria's was.

"Thank you." Logan said, in a professional tone of voice.

The female guard didn't say anything as she turned and types in a pain number on the pin pad. She must have hit it at least I cohnted... 6 or 7 times. The doors slowly opened as she finished ting in the code. Logan walked inside and Gloria followed closely behind him.

Lieutenant Nakamura or Chanel pushed me forward and as we were out of sight of the guards whispered into my ear once more. "This is where we will interrogate you, try to stay calm and collected, answer everything they say, show you will do what they want, don't show you're scared, they love knowing they intimidate you, and don't try to show strength, they don't like anyone who will go against them."

So stay calm, don't act scared or show strength? Just try to look normal like everyone else? I nodded in reluctance. "Alright..."

"Just do as I say." She whispered into my ear again as we entered into a long  very brightly lit corridor, dark black doors on each side leading to many different rooms. Whatever the hell was in them, I didn't want to to know or ever find out.

"Here." Logan pointed towards, a set of black double doors.

"Yes sir." Chanel replied as she escorted me forward through the double doors. On the other side was another long hallway, this time empty. "He and Gloria won't be following anymore at this point."

"Who are the interrogators? What are their names?" I asked out of curiosity. Maybe knowing their names might be helpful? I don't  know.

She continued to escort me down the hall towards the interrogation room when she decided to answer my question. "Their names are Arturia Carter and Rona Windward."

I nodded as I heard her mutter both of their names. Good now I knew... better than nothing I guess. Chanel took out a pair of keys from her black belt and fiddled with a few of them as we came to the 2nd to last door on that hallway.

She stuck the key into the lock and turned the key, she rattled with it for a few seconds before we both heard the sound of a clock. She pushed the door open and motioned for me to go inside. I didn't say anything to her as I with reluctance in my step entered the room. It was walled with old white tiles which gave off an oddly chilly atmosphere.

A white metal table with 3 metal chairs of the same white color were in the center of the room, the table seemed to have been bolted down to the floor, and in front of it was one of those windows in most interrogation rooms. I looked around for a while and stared at the clock that was hung on the wall.

"That clock is broken, been broken for years, don't bother reading the time on that, now sit down, and keep quiet until Rona and Arturia arrive, I will be just outside." Chanel replied, her voice providing some comfort in this situation I was stuck in.

She closed the door behind her leaving me alone in the chilly looking room. I let out a small sigh and looked at the broken clock. 5:45 am. Wonder what the real time is? Probably the afternoon or something, who knows? I was interrupted from my thoughts by the sound of the door opening.

2 women walked into the room. "Hello, my name is Arturia Carter, and this is Rona Windward."

(Hey guys I know its been a while since I updated this story, but I finished this chapter, and its probably bad but I hope you enjoy it!"
