Post-USJ announcement
Izuku was currently in the classroom, messing with his new highlights. A week has passed and the blue from his hair didn't go away. It didn't bother him much, except for the fact that it clashed horribly with his green hair.
Either he dyes his hair green again or complete the transformation and turn his whole hair blue. He was completely lost in thought until the huge doors of 1-A opened and revealed Iida, who blushed as soon as he saw Izuku.
"Ah, Midoriya! You're early as always!" He greeted. And promptly went to his seat, avoiding Izuku's gaze. Izuku didn't want to admit it but he was just as flustered as Iida was. They stayed in their respective seats, occasionally shooting furtive glances at each other.
When the door opened, they expected to see Bakugou or Uraraka but were surprised to see Ashido in the doorway, smirking mischievously at them. "Well, what do we have here? Two lovebirds in one room, trying to keep away from each other. Honestly, i'm surprised that you didn't ask each other out yet." She snickered.
Izuku hid himself in an iceberg that surrounded only his seat while Iida was trying to deflect the "false rumor" with his robotic arm movements. Ashido only laughed harder. "Honestly, you two should confess. It's obvious that you two have the hots for each other." She sighed.
Iida, once again tried deflecting the suggestion with more robotic arm movements. Izuku however was taking her words a little more seriously in his little icy realm. 'Should i ask Iida out?' The thought floated around in his little iceberg.
He then began mumbling something unintelligible. The mumbling echoed throughout the iceberg and didn't escape. When everyone arrived in class, they were mystified by the iceberg that sat on the side of the classroom.
"What is the Class President doing?" Yaoyorozu asked. "Trying to hide his embarrassment from me." Ashido answered. "But why?" Yaoyorozu asked once more. Ashido went to her and whispered something in her ears. Her face became a hot shade of red.
Iida was completely unsure of what Ashido was doing but he had an idea of what she could be doing. "Ashido, please stop spreading false rumors." He asked lindly, with gritted teeth. Ashido stopped, seeing that Iida was restraining himself.
"I'm sorry." She said simply before going back to her seat. The students were now clamoring over the recent villain attack. "Say, whose going to substitute Aizawa? He's probably incapacitataed in bed right now." Sero said. The door slammed open to reveal Aizawa covered in bandages from head to toe.
"If someone's gonna substitute me it's either i'm dead or in another country." He deadpanned. 'Such a Pro' Everyone thought. "Now. The Sports Festival is coming next week. So you all need to prepare." Aizawa announced.
Everyone was unsure of what to say. Everyone wanted to say something, but wasn't sure what. Izuku broke the ice literally and metaphorically. "So soon, after a Villain Attack?" He asked. Everyone murmured in agreement.
"No. A petty Villain Attack isn't gonna stop the event that replaced the Olympics. And this is a good opportunity to show that we were unaffected by the League of Villain's attack." Aizawa explained. "This is also a good opportunity to be scouted by Pro Heroes."
"But why do we need to be scouted?" Kirishima asked. "Because it will be helpful for your internships. If you aren't scouted...you'll remain a sidekick for the rest of your career."
Aizawa then began to walk out the door before saying. "Today is Free Period. You can use this time for whatever you want." He said and closed the door. Everyone was excited of course but some were more worried instead.
"What if a the villains attack us again?" Mineta said worriedly. "I highly doubt that they'll attack in fromt of hundreds of Pro Heroes." Asui said. Suddenly they heard rumbling outside at the hallway. "What's going on? Do we have an earthquake?" Yaoyorozu inquired.
Suddenly the doors opened to reveal many other students from UA. "No. It's other students scouting for competition." Izuku said. "So this is Class 1A." Said one. He had tentacles protruding from his head, vaguely resembling Medusa.
"They don't look like much. They all probably got in through recommendations." Said another. She had multiple eyes from all over her body. Izuku didn't like that and stepped to the door. "I apologize if we don't meet your expectations. But i can assure you that each and everyone in this class are all hard workers." Izuku said.
Everyone feels better when they heard that from their Class President. Bakugou was grinning behind him. However Izuku was pushed backwards and was tripped by a purple haired student that had almost the same hairstyle as Izuku.
"Tch. You think that you can act all high and mighty just because you're in the Hero Course. You're clearly looking dow—." The boy was interrupted when weapons made of ice surrounded him. They were all sharp, deadly and intimidating.
The purple haired boy froze in his place, metaphorically. He knew that a single move will definitely hurt. "I didn't want to resort to violence, but if a point is begging to be made, then i cannot pass up the opportunity." Izuku said, with a glare. His green eyes glowing in rage that made everyone in the room frozen in fear.
"Wh-who're y-y-you...?" The kid asked. Izuku glared at him. "I am the Class President of Class 1A. Izuku Midoriya." He smoldered. Everyone tensed. "Th-that's not how a hero acts!" Said one from behind the purple haired teen.
Izuku glares at them. "And what he just did is not how a hero is supposed to act either. I did nothing to him and he did that? I know that all of you are gonna participate in the Sports Festival with the Hope of either getting scouted or getting into the Hero Course." He said bluntly.
There was no denying it. "You really expect yourselves to be heroes if you're all acting petty? You remind me of a certain megalo-pyromaniac." Izuku sneered.
Izuku then turned his sharp gaze to the purple haired kid who tripped him and was currently cowering in fear. "What's your name?" Izuku asked him. "Sh-shinsou. Hitoshi Shinsou." He said.
"Well, Shinsou. I expect that you want to be a hero for some reason...right? Either you want authority, trying to prove something, or genuinely wants to help people. And i'll bet it's one of the former and not the latter." Izuku pointed out.
"Well...if you want authority, well know this. Authority must he obeyed or it must be overthrown! And if you want to prove something, prove yourself that you are worthy of being a hero first." Izuku said. "Good day." Before slamming the giant doors.
