"Good Morning Japan! Welcome to UA's Sports Festival!" Present Mic screamed into the Microphone that he was handed. "Why would the living microphone have a microphone?" All of Class 1-A thought. Izuku was more than tempted to freeze the microphone Present Mic had and tell him to use his quirk without the microphone.

But Izuku digressed and plugged his ears with ice. "How Convenient." Everyone thought. Yaoyorozu took this as her cue to start making earmuffs for everyone that was competing, including herself. "Could you hurry up, Mic? The kids are gonna go deaf like you are at this rate. They're already wearing some protection." Aizawa said.

          "Huh? But...fine. Let's give it up for this year's Hero Class! Class 1-A. And i would like to hear an inspirational speech from their Class President...who is it again?" Present Mic asked. Aizawa pointed to Izuku. "The one with Messy Green Hair that has blue highlights." Aizawa said. "Izuku Midoriya."

          "Okay! I would like to hear a word from their Class President!" Present Mic yelled. Izuku took off his earmuffs and walked forward to the microphone. "Testing, testing. Hello? Okay, it's working." Izuku said.

        He cleared his throat first before saying. "So, Good Morning, Everyone. I'm Izuku Midoriya. President of Class 1-A. And let me just say a few words. I pledge, that today, and the oncoming days, that i will give everything i've...no. We will give it everything we've got, to protect this world. And for the people who challenged us. From The Support, Business and General Department. I want you to give today you're all, cause i assure you, so will we." Izuku said.

          Everybody applauded. The audience gave a standing ovation to Izuku's Speech. "Such inspiring words." Present Mic said, tears dripping from his eyes. Now enough chit-chat! Midnight! What will be the event for the Preliminary Rounds?"

The R-18 Hero joined the fray in all her skin-tight spandex glory. "Thank you Present Mic! Now after that speech, i'm gonna announce the first event!" Midnight said and struck a pose. "Is she even allowed to be in a high school?" Kirishima asked. "Yeah, and that costume should come with some kind of warning label." Sero added.

"Silence! Now, the First event will be..." Midnight trailed off. The big screen lit up and showed the words, 'Obstacle Race' in bold letters on it. "An Obstacle Course! Now only the top 42 of this race will be able to make it into the next round!" She announced.

All Students were then ushered behind a line, to begin the event. "Okay! On your marks..." Izuku prepared his quirk. "...get set..." Everybody tensed up. "...go!" Midnight said and cracked her whip. Izuku shaped his quirk into a drill and dug downwards.

"A mole?" Everyone said. "Don't just stand there! Go!" Midnight said, everybody then scrambled forwards before encountering the first obstacle. Claustrophobia. The Tunnel was very wide but by their sheer numbers, they all got stuck.

Izuku was simply digging underneath and was leaving a trail from of dirt above ground, letting people know where he was. When the trail fo dirt reached outside the tunnel, he then went up and arised. "Well, hasta la vista señor and señora!" He said before he skated away.

"Don't think you already won!" Bakugou, Momo, Sero, and Todoroki yelled. They all managed to get out of that claustrophobic situation and was gliding in the air. "Huh? Well, this oughta slow ya down!" He sid and snapped his hand forwards.

From the sides, turrets of ice formed. Tehy aimed towards the opposing members and fired rapidly towards them. Sero was immediately shot down while Todoroki, Bakugou, and Yaoyorozu evaded the attack. "Damn, their tenacious. Oh, the next obstacle's already here."

"They arrived to the Next Obstacle! A Gaggle of Zero Pointers!" Present Mic announced. The Zero Point Robots were rampaging everything within the area, excluding themselves. They completely blocked their path. Izuku knew exactly what to do at this point.

He pointed his hand towards the Zero Pointers. "Insta-Freeze Beam!" He yelled. A Beam of Light hit the A Zero Pointer, instantly freezing it. Izuku weaved around the rampaging robots, freezing them along the way.

Once he got out, the robots were reduced to melting piles of ice. "Look at that, Aizawa! The Kid has defeated all of the Zero Pointers! What were you feeding them?" Present Mic asked. "100% Pure Hell." Aizawa replied quickly.

        It wasn't long before Izuku reached the third obstacle. "Ooh! The third obstacle is... a bottomless pit! Or maybe a Mile Deep Pit. I don't know. But! How do you think will he get past this one Aizawa?" Present Mic asked again.

         Aizawa grunted. "Maybe with something elaborate and complex. Knowing the kid, he's gonna make a labyrinth to cover up that sink hole and keep anyone else from getting through. Let's see how he takes the situation." Aizawa said, with a maniacal grin on his face.

         Izuku scanned the problem before him with a grim face. One false move and he will fall to his untimely demise. Izuku then thought of an idea. Using the same method of transport he used earlier, he swan dived right into the pit. (Horrible Joke XP)

          "Woah! He dived right in there, headfirst!" Present Mic announced. "It's more like a Swan Dive, actually." Aizawa said. But before Izuku could hit the bottom, he used his ice to create the same rails that he used ti get to UA.

         He was basically gliding around the pit before he ascended and emerged. "Wow! A Creative Approach to a situation! And not too far behind is Bakugou Katsuki and Todoroki Shoto! Let's see if Midoriya is gonna remain first place for long." Present Mic said.

"Hm?" Izuku said, glancing behind him. True to Present Mic's obnoxiously loud voice, Bakugou and Todoroki weren't too far behind him. Izuku knew he has to slow down the two of them. But how?

Izuku looked forward and found his solution. "Look! Midoriya is approaching the final obstacle. A Minefield!" Present Mic announced. Izuku slowed down his pace ever so slightly, waiting for the other two to catch up.

          "Stay away Half n' Half! I'm gonna win this!" Bakugou yelled to which Todoroki grunted in response. Izuku snickered, knowing the two will be completely off guard for his next plan.

         Once they got close enough, Izuku jumped of the ride-rail and onto the Minefield. "What is he doing?!" Present Mic yelled, Aizawa was analyzing the situation thoroughly, waiting for Izuku's plan to unfold.

        Once Izuku was near the ground, he pointed his hands towards Bakugou and Todoroki. "Icicle Napalm." Izuku muttered. A giant Icicle shot out of his hands and hit the landmines near the bickering duo. The Icicle exploded with a gust of cold air and managed to hit the other landmines as well.

         Izuku then made thick plates of ice under his feet and descended down to the landmines below him. With one swift move, he kicked down on a landmine causing it to explode and rocketed him towards the finish line,

        "The Winner of the Obstacle Course is...Izuku Midoriya!"
