The Match ended. Izuku gasped, shivered and panted. Shiozaki herself was in a similar state. Izuku ran over to her and held out his hand. "Here, you did awesomely! And your quirk is very powerful too!" He smiled.

Shiozaki smiled and took his hand. "Thank you Midoriya. You stand at a higher rank than i, and yet you humble yourself. You're an admirable person. I look forward to working with you." She said and stood up. They parted ways and headed to their respective stands.

Izuku was walking and was greeted by the sight of Todoroki waiting for him. He tilted his head in confusion. "Todoroki? What are you doing here?" He asked the dual haired teen. Said teen stoically stared at him for a minute or two before answering.

"You...you made me break my pledge." He said vaguely. Izuku was even more confused. "What pledge? Did you and someone from our class made some kind of secret promise that i'm not aware of and i made you break it?" Izuku mumbled.

Todoroki squinted at the mumbling teen before cutting him off. "You...you made me use my flames in the last round. I swore to myself that i would never use it." Izuku's eyes widened. "Wait, what? Why? Does...it have to do...with your father?" He asked.

Todoroki's stoic expression faltered for a moment, confirming Izuku's speculations. "Hm...i suppose that it would also have to do something with your scar. Perhaps an incident?" He mumbled to himself. Izuku looked at Todoroki once more and be confirmed.

Todoroki straightened up and said. "Midoriya, do you know what quirk marriages are?" The dual haired teen asked. Izuku nodded. "It's when you marry a person with a strong quirk to make a powerful child. Right?"

Todoroki nodded. "My father has always wanted to surpass All Might no matter the cost. Unfortunately, he is too weak to be able to beat the Symbol of Peace. Which is why she married my mother. In the hopes of getting the perfect Quirk."

Hearing this gave Izuku very torrential emotions. He pitied Todoroki. He was angry at Endeavor. He just didn't know what to do. "And so he did. He made 4 children. I was the strongest one. He trained me every day. Pushed me to beyond my limits. My mother couldn't stand his actions. My father abused her as well. Until one day she couldn't take it anymore and poured boiling water on my left side."

Izuku was gonna say something but Todoroki was not done. "My Oldest Brother ran away because of this. My sister lives in constant fear and my older brother hates my father. That—." "Is why you don't use your left side. You are spiting your father by showing him you don't need your fire." Izuku finished.

Todoroki nodded. But he wasn't prepared for what Izuku would say next. "Why are you telling me this? Surely there must be a reason for telling me." Izuku said. Todoroki was expecting something else to come out of his lips.

"Because, you appear to be one of the stronger ones in this Class. If i can beat you without using my left side." "It would emphasize your point earlier. You're a fool." Izuku said.

Todoroki was taken aback. "Me? A Fool?" Izuku nodded. "You're hurting yourself because of pettiness? That is nothing but foolishness and bullshit." Izuku said with vigor in his voice. "Watch your tone. You don't know anything." Todoroki hissed.

"You're being an idiot Todoroki. First, why would you challenge me in the first place? Second, self harm is never a good thing. Let me ask you a question. Why do you want to be a Hero?" Izuku asked.

Todoroki's tongue was tied. He spluttered for an answer but was cut off by Izuku. "Cat got your tongue? You don't need to answer now. But this is important nonetheless. Because to me, it looks like you're a hero because you're forced by your father." Izuku said sharply.

Todoroki was speechless and tried to speak, but was once again interrupted by Izuku. "You better head to your match. I hear that you're supposed to be next." Izuku said, leaving Todoroki and headed towards the stands.

          As soon as he entered the stands he was tackled by Iida and Uraraka. "Congratulations Midoriya/Deku!" They both yelled. Bakugou approached them and shooed the two off of Izuku. "Get out of my way!" He shouted.

        He patted Izuku's shoulder before leaning in to whisper. "You better not Half-Ass it later. Because i'm gonna beat you at your best." He whispered and smirked at Izuku. Izuku chuckled. "Same old Kacchan. But i'll be the one to beat you." Izuku said.

          Bakugou grinned and headed back to his seat. Izuku sat down as well in between Iida and Uraraka. Iida and Uraraka looked very invested at the battle before them. Tokoyami and Todoroki were toe to toe against each other.

          Tokoyami's Dark Shadow weaved and dodged around Todoroki's Ice while Todoroki was sending blast after blast of Ice. Tokoyami managed to land a hit into Todoroki's gut, sending him reeling before Todoroki glared at him, causing a massive glacier of ice to shoot towards Tokoyami, effectively trapping him.

          Tokoyami, despite himself shivering and cold, ordered Dark Shadow to relentlessly attack Todoroki. The shadow tackled and whacked itself against Todoroki who was still using his ice. He got tired of it and froze the two of them, Tokoyami along with Dark Shadow.

          The Match itself ended rather quickly. Izuku was smirking to himself. It seems that Todoroki was gonna be fun to challenge.
