Depressed!Deku + Quirkless!Deku + Older!Deku

"I'll give up on becoming a hero..."

That's what Midoriya said three years ago when he was told by All Might himself that he couldn't be a hero without a quirk. It hurt so damn much to have to finally face that fact, he felt like that when he tried to save Bakugo from the sludge villain. He felt powerless against the villain, that is, until All Might swooped in and saved them, but after that, he hasn't seen All Might in person ever since.

He went to a normal high school and graduated a few months ago. Being quirkless and now 18 years-old, he had his own place and was working a simple job. It seems like he lost that desire to protect people who wouldn't appreciate it because he didn't have a quirk like the 80% of the population. Currently, he was walking back to his home around 10:30 pm at night, having just gotten done working out at the gym. It was dark and quiet through the city as he walked through.
