Ray's POV

"Endeavor! The three work studies are here!" Burnin calls.

Endeavor nods and Izu, Katsu and Shoto come out back as I'm taking a breather.

"Aren't you working her too hard?" Shoto asks Endeavor.

"No, I need that, I got really pissed off earlier." I say and Izu instantly looks worried.

"You didn't hurt them right?" Izu asks me nervously.

"No." I say and Endeavor nods.

"She did a good job trying to tell that Matthew kid off, they didn't seem to listen, so I took over while she went and cooled off." Endeavor informs the trio.

"He still isn't leaving you alone?" Katsu asks, getting annoyed by that.

I just drink my water as I watch Endeavor talk to the trio.

"She's not gonna burn us if we touch her now, right?" Combustion asks as he walks over.

"Oi! Don't touch my girlfriend!" Katsu yells at Combustion as Combustion annoys me by tapping me too fast to stop him.

Endeavor watches amused as Katsu holds me close to him as he fends off Combustion.

I watch the two argue and Izu tries to stop the two while Shoto watches.

Inferno gets out here and whacks Combustion over the head.

"HEY!" Combustion yells at Inferno who shrieks and hides behind Endeavor.

Katsu hugs me around my shoulders protectively from behind while growling at Combustion.

I hug my boyfriend and he huffs annoyed at Combustion.

I step back after a minute, feeling better. "Ok. Now what's up next? Patrol?" I ask Endeavor who nods.

"You'll be coming with us this time." Endeavor says to me and I nod.

"She's not joining us today?" Inferno pouts.

"No." Endeavor says to Inferno.

Inferno pouts as she hugs me around my shoulders.

We go on patrol and I listen quietly as Endeavor talks to the trio walking beside him.

My buzzer goes off, and I glance at it for a moment. I run down the street and Endeavor is close behind.

I start racing on water as Endeavor using his fire to boost him.

"They're just, racing the corners." Izu says shocked as I slide sideways around the corner.

Endeavor gets there second before me, it's a runaway truck.

I grab the kids as I race past and I set the kids on the sidewalk as Endeavor stops the truck.

I kneel in front of the kids, checking on them as Endeavor deals with the truck.

"Thank you Cascade!" The kids chorus as their mother cries in relief.

I smile as I get to my feet and my buzzer goes off again.

I look at the buzzer and I see the next one is two blocks over.

"Two blocks south!" I say to Endeavor quickly and he nods.

We race that way as the trio barely keeps up.

I stop the robber while Endeavor forces the hostages out.

I disarm the robber and I pin him to the ground for the police who quickly take over.

I check the hostages to make sure they're ok as an ambulance gets here.

The trio finally get here and I watch them amused as they look exhausted.

"You three good?" I ask them amused as Endeavor finishes with the robbery.

"How do you manage to go so fast?" Izu asks me.

I look at him for a moment as I think. "I go running in the morning for my endurance and speed, and I use my quirk to make sure I'm not gonna be flying into corners." I say to Izu who nods.

My buzzer goes off and I get going.

After a long day of doing buzzer calls, we stop at the agency, the boys look exhausted, but I could keep going.

Inferno cries as she hides behind me and Combustion looks pissed off.

I watch the two for a moment and Combustion scowls at me.

"Nah, I'm done for the day." I say as I look at the time on my phone and I have to get going.

"Your leaving?" Inferno whines.

"Yeah, I have about an hour before I gotta get to my session. So I'll see ya guys tomorrow." I say with a small wave and Endeavor nods.

I head out and I head back U.A.

I get Missy and we go to my Therapy session.

"Hello Ray, how has your day been?" Cameron asks me as I sit down.

I groan as I rub my face slightly while Missy sits in front of me. "Where do you want me to start? The fact that I didn't want to get out of bed, or the situation with Matthew?" I ask Cameron.

Cameron nods. "Bad day?" Cameron asks and I nod. "Tell me your day and then we can go back and you can go into depth about everything you want to." Cameron says to me and I nod.

I cross my legs as I sit on the couch and I start with my day, get increasingly frustrated about the Matthew incident, but then I force myself to chill out as I continue with the rest of the day.

"Matthew is still harassing you?" Cameron asks me when I finish.

I nod. "And it sucks, because no matter what I've done, he hasn't left me alone. I just want him to quit it, what's done has been done." I say to Cameron as I sit back, frustrated.

I talk about this for a while, just frustrated because I don't know what to do.

Cameron listens quietly and I notice his water evaporating. I look at the water confused. "Now it's evaporating when I'm frustrated?" I ask quietly.

"What?" Cameron asks confused.

"When I get like really pissed off, water around me boils to the point of evaporation. But your water is evaporating and I'm just frustrated." I say confused.

Cameron nods. "Ok, maybe you aren't frustrated, but you are angry, anger can disguise itself in several emotions, including frustration." Cameron suggests. "Let's talk about how your feeling, describe it." Cameron says to me.

I have issues differentiating between the frustration and then anger and how they feel.

Cameron explains these feelings and I learn how to tell the difference for future reference.

My session ends and Cameron pats my head.

I take Missy on a walk so she can do her business.

When we get back to the dorm house, I grab some clothes and I go shower.

"Ray, are you ok?" Mina asks as she comes in.

"Why do you ask?" I ask her confused as I scrub my hair of any filth.

"Because you've been strangely quiet for a week. Usually your doing something with the class, or at least cooking, but you've just been, coming back late and you've looked sad." Mina says worried.

I think softly for a moment. "It's just a rough week, no need to worry." I say to Mina.

"Everyone is worried though. Your not acting normal, especially after the Matthew incident." Mina says worried.

"My reputation in the school got anal raped without the lube. I'm just keeping my head down until I can fix it." I say to Mina.

"But usually your so headstrong, you always push through this type of thing." Mina says worried.

"I'm just rerouting, I'm still pushing through it, but I'm finding a different approach." I say to Mina as I rinse my hair.

"But your amazing though, why don't the people in this school realize that?" Mina asks and I can tell she's pouting.

"Because people aren't a big fan of my reckless behavior." I say to Mina.

Mina huffs and she just talks, very upset about this.

When I get out of the shower, I put on Katsu's skull t-shirt and a pair of my sweatpants.

I go over to the counter and I brush my hair as Mina pouts.

I end up just going to my room when I'm done, and I play my music.

I hug Missy who sits with me on my bed. "Why did things get so complicated?" I ask Missy softly.

I play a game on my play station, just trying to relax and get my mind off my issues.

Katsu eventually comes in and he has two bowls.

"Come on, we need to eat." Katsu says to me gently as he pulls my hand gently.

I look at Katsu softly and I sit up from my laying position, pausing my Final Fantasy game.

I hug my boyfriend around the neck and he hugs me tightly. "What's wrong?" Katsu asks me softly.

I put my face in his neck. "I need things to stop being so rocky. I can only hold my balance for so long." I whisper.

Katsu rubs my back gently. "I know." Katsu whispers and he hugs me tighter. "When you get back from your Aunt and Uncles place, we're gonna go on a date." Katsu says to me firmly and I nod.

"That sounds amazing." I say to Katsu softly.

"We need a break from the stress and just have a good day." Katsu says to me.

I nod slightly and I just hug my boyfriend tighter. Katsu says gently as he holds me tightly. "We should eat before the food gets cold, I made fried rice, with chicken." Katsu says to me softly.

I hum softly, still not letting go.

Katsu pulls me into sitting with him on the ground, and I'm still clinging to him.

Katsu eventually coaxes me into sitting next to him and eating. Afterwards, I cling to my boyfriend again who ends up carrying me to his room with Missy following us.

"I don't want to go to class tomorrow." I whisper to Katsu as we lay in his bed.

"Why?" Katsu asks me softly.

"The other students in the school, after the last incident, I just, want to avoid as many problems as I can right now." I whisper.

"I know." Katsu says softly as he rubs my back gently.

"I'm just, gonna do my run tomorrow, and I think I'm just gonna take a day for myself, and avoid my life." I say softly as I stare Katsu's chest.

"You should come to class, you don't have to go anywhere after, you can just stay here, but you should at least come to class so you don't miss too much." Katsu says to me gently.

I nod and I hide my face in his neck, just, so done with constant problems.

Katsu just holds me quietly and we eventually just get some rest.

In the morning, I go on my run with Shinso and we see Nora and her husband come into U.A.

Shinso watches carefully and I want to go back to the dorm house.

Missy tugs on her leash and keeps running, so we follow her.

Eventually we get back to the dorm house, and Dad is talking with Nora and her husband.

"Ray, come here." Dad says to me.

"No." I say and that confuses Dad. "Not today. I don't want to deal with this today. I didn't want to deal with it yesterday, or the day before. Or the day before that." I say and I go into the kitchen.

"What happened yesterday?"

"She's over reacting, all we did was try to talk to her yesterday." Nora's husband says as Missy whines softly next to me.

"What's going on?" Shinso asks me.

"I'm being harassed by their son, they refuse to leave me alone." I say to Shinso who looks slightly surprised.

I get Missy her water and she drinks it as I make breakfast.

We eat in the kitchen as we do homework.

"Ray, come talk." Dad says to me as he walks over.

"No." I say to Dad.

"You can't just shut them out because of the incident that happened last week." Dad says to me.

"Oh but here's the thing, I can, because they've been harassing me on my way to my work study every day, and while I'm doing my work study." I say to Dad and that stops him. "Call Endeavor about what happened yesterday. That was fun." I say to Dad as I get up and walk past him.

"I'm gonna go get ready for class, are you going to your classes today?" Shinso asks as he follows me.

I run a hand through my hair. "That depends on the shit show about to start." I say and Shinso nods and he leaves.

"You have to confront this sooner or later." Dad says as he follows me.

"Fuck this. I'm done explaining myself." I say and I pull out my phone and I show Dad the train confrontations and the agency confrontation and Dad watches quietly. "I'm being forced to deal with this. I don't want to deal with this. I shouldn't have to deal with this." I say to Dad who is quiet about that.

"Everyone has to deal with things they don't want to." Dad says finally.

"And you've justified harassment. Fuck this." I say and I go to my room.

I get changed into a pair of jeans and a form-fitting black long sleeve shirt. I put on my agency coat and a pair of black flat boots.

I grab my bag and my phone and I head downstairs again.

"Your supposed to be getting ready for class." Dad says to me.

I stare at Dad with narrowed eyes and Missy senses my distress and she sneezes a few times. "I'm taking Missy for a check up, she seems to have a cold." I say stiffly.

"You can do that after school." Dad says to me.

"Not really, I don't have time after school, cause I have to deal with bullshit, considering I doubt they're leaving." I say to Dad.

"Don't you have your work study?" Dad asks me.

"Hmm, go on my way to get harassed at work, or take my dog to the vet while they're preoccupied and then stay home for the day and hole up in my room to take a fucking break. Man that second option sounds more rational." I say and Dad grimaces slightly at that. "Yeah I think I'm gonna have to go with the second option. But, who cares if I get harassed right? Everyone has to deal with things they don't like." I say and Dad sighs.

"I didn't mean it like that." Dad says to me.

"Well obviously you should have worded it different, because your not listening to the fact that your student is being harassed outside of school grounds and now, on, school grounds, and your not doing a damn thing about it, your entertaining it. So excuse me if I'm a bit of an bitch today, I'm not having a good week, because nothing is getting done to help me." I say to Dad.

"Your my daughter too." Dad reminds me.

"Then act like it." I say and I walk out the door, leaving Dad stunned.

I walk towards the gate and Peter runs to catch up with me.

"Shouldn't you be in Uniform?" Peter asks me.

"I'm not going to class today." I say and Peter looks at me slightly worried.

"I'm coming with you then." Peter says to me and he texts someone as he comes with me.
