Monday Morning - Ray's POV

I get up for my run and I stretch, Missy gets off the bed as well and stretches.

I get changed into insulated leggings, a black tight fitting long sleeve shirt, and a white zip up jacket, that's zipped up to just over my chest.

I put on my running shoes as Missy drinks some water. I then grab Missy's therapy dog vest and I put it on her.

"Mmmm." Katsu groans quietly, but his arms rest around my shoulders. "Come back to bed." Katsu says to me.

I look at him amused. "No, I need to go on my run, I haven't been on a run in a bit, and Missy needs to go on a walk, so I'm gonna take her with me." I say to Katsu amused.

Katsu huffs quietly. I kiss him good morning and I attach Missy's leash to her vest.

I take Missy downstairs to see Dad having a meeting with the teachers.

"Your awake early." Midnight yawns to me. "Is that a dog?" Midnight asks me.

"It's a Missile Launcher." I say and Midnight wakes up to that, causing me to almost laugh. "Missy for short." I say to Midnight and I take Missy with me on my run.

When I get back, I feel a lot more refreshed and Missy is happy too.

Dad stares at me from the door and I look at him for a moment before I just simply walk by him as Missy follows me, she's happy, her tail is wagging and her tongue is out.

"Ray." Dad says as he follows me.

"If your gonna berate me for my actions towards Matthew, save it, I'm aware that choosing violence was the wrong answer, however, no one was doing anything to help my side either. So kindly, fuck off." I say to Dad as I walk towards the stairs.

"You assaulted the new kid and Nezu wants to speak with you." Dad says to me.

"Alright, I'll be by his office in 30 minutes." I say to Dad.

"Now." Dad says to me.

I turn around and I go to Nezu's office with Missy.

I knock.

"Come in." Nezu says to me.

I walk in and Nezu looks at me.

"Ray! Good Morning, sit." Nezu says to me and I sit on his couch as Missy lays next to the couch. "So, about you breaking the nose of our new student." Nezu says to me.

"First, what was said about the situation." I say to Nezu.

"Aizawa told me that you broke Matthew's nose because he was speaking ill towards you." Nezu says to me.

"That's an understatement." I say and Nezu looks at me confused. "Matthew has been speaking ill of me because his mother was in danger because of me, he didn't want me around, however I was fully planning on being nice to him in the begining until he started talking shit and disrespecting the fact that I'm doing everything I can to fix that situation. Matthew carried it to far friday after I got back from my work study with Endeavor, I was having a bad day to begin with, so he didn't help and started mocking my boyfriend, so I slapped him, because Katsu was only trying to pull me out of that situation so I didn't hurt anyone, then Matthew mocked the fact that I needed therapy, that's when I broke his nose. It wasn't the right course of action, but words were going nowhere and the adult in the room, my father, was doing nothing to diffuse the situation and if that doesn't get Matthew to quit shit talking me, I don't know what else to do other than tell his mother, but he made it clear he didn't want me around his mother." I say to Nezu, a little distressed about the situation.

"Was Aizawa there for each of those conversations?" Nezu asks me.

"Yes." I say to Nezu.

Missy sits up as she feels my distress and she nuzzles my hands, so I pet her, calming down instantly.

"I see, and your sure there wasn't another alternative at the time?" Nezu asks me.

"If I did nothing, he would have continued, because every time I did nothing, he escalated things." I say to Nezu.

"Ok, well Matthew is supposed to be here in a minute too." Nezu says to me.

My hands twitch, not sure how that's gonna go, so it worries me since no one besides Katsu has taken my side in this and I really don't want people to walk all over this issue.

I pet Missy as I continue talking with Nezu.

Matthew gets here after about 5 minutes and he scowls at me.

I just pet Missy as Matthew sits at the other end of the couch.

"Ray tells me that you've been provoking her for a little bit now." Nezu says to Matthew.

"That's a load of bull, she started the whole thing." Matthew says to Nezu.

"How so?" Nezu asks Matthew.

"Just look at her, she's obviously a trouble maker, she got my mom into danger because of her carelessness, that should be enough said." Matthew says to Nezu.

I continue to pet Missy as I start to get upset at that.

"Ray?" Nezu asks me.

I'm quiet for a moment. "I never intended to get therapy when I started school, I kept my therapy a secret for a while, the only people who knew were my boyfriend and my mom's family and my brother. I never intended for it to get blown up by the media because my classmate can't respect the fact that it's already a sensitive subject to begin with, and he posted it all over his twitter where reporters were following him." I say to the two. "I was awake for a while, trying to figure out who sold me out, I handled that with a conversation in front of half the school. I spent the last month or so, stressed out over the fact that Nora would be in danger if I ever said her name in public, and I wouldn't even tell the school who my therapist was so she could continue to live her life safely without having to disrupt so many lives, yours being one of them. I stressed out over that, and the therapists I tried to see on campus didn't help, and since that whole ordeal, I've been observing every single one of my actions in 16,000 different ways so it doesn't cause another incident like that. And then you caused trouble because you didn't like me and that's why we're sitting here, because you couldn't just leave it alone when I asked you too in the begining when I explained this the first time." I say to Matthew.

Nezu nods. "She was very stubborn about not telling the school anything. The only reason we knew about her getting therapy was because the media blew it up." Nezu says to Matthew.

"It was my private life, I need therapy to be a better hero, so since that whole incident, I've been trying to find a new therapist, and I found one who works here at the school." I continue.

"Tina?" Nezu asks me.

"No, she wasn't helping me, she was frustrating me more. Cameron." I say to Nezu who nods.

"There's been more improvement in you since you started going to therapy. Your a lot less angry and lonesome than when you first started the year." Nezu says to me.

Matthew objects to this and he tries to start shit, but Nezu shuts him down quickly.

"Sir, she assaulted me." Matthew says to Nezu.

"Ray rarely attacks another student unless nothing else can be done to resolve a situation. The teacher wasn't resolving the situation, you just kept pushing her after she took the nice route several times from the sounds of it." Nezu says to Matthew.

"You rigged this." Matthew says to me.

I stare at him for a long moment. "I stated the facts of what happened, I never lie when I'm the one in trouble." I say to Matthew who tchs.

The door gets knocked on and in comes Nora and Aizawa.

I get nervous by Nora's pointed stare at me and Missy senses that, so she nuzzles her face into my hands, forcing me to pet her.

I feel relieved with Missy here, she's a major help right now in keeping me calm.

"You attacked my son?" Nora asks me, clearly cross.

"Mom, she broke my nose for no reason." Matthew cries.

"I call foul play!" I say as I raise my hand.

"What?" Nezu asks me surprised.

"Everyone except for me, neglects to tell the full damn story and I'm getting pissed that I'm the only one in trouble when this asshole next to me provoked me for 3 days straight." I say to Nezu.

"My son would never do that." Nora says to me.

I start to get really distressed about this situation. "Fuck it. You know what Nora, your son is probably a really stand up guy, to everybody except for me. So either try to see both sides of the situation before you accuse me of anything, or butt out." I say to Nora as I stare at her.

Nora looks at me surprised. "But he's my son, I can't just butt out." Nora says me.

"Yeah, I'd feel safer with my Mom here, your crazy." Matthew says to me worried for himself.

"Nora, Ray told me your son was mocking her issues and her boyfriend and the fact that she needed therapy. Nobody was diffusing the situation, so Ray was doing her best to diffuse it, but ended up snapping for the first time in a while." Nezu says to Nora who looks at her son, then at me.

"Ray?" Nora asks me.

"If your gonna accuse me, then stuff it." I say to Nora. "When I had to drop my therapy sessions with you Nora, we were working on ways to control my anger and all of that. So I don't expect you to believe me when you weren't there. However my asshole of a father who can't give the full facts to save his life, now I was expecting him to be on my side in this, but that's too much to expect apparently." I say as I pet Missy as I watch Missy. "This is getting to be out of hand with how these facts are being spread with only half light."

"Don't talk to my mom that way. You wouldn't talk to your mom that way." Matthew says to me.

"Using my own words against me. Well unfortunately for you, I talk to everyone the same way, I don't give two shits if it's my dad or some lady in front of me at the coffee shop testing my buttons." I say to Matthew who looks at me surprised.

The door slams open and there is Peter, freaked out. I get to my feet instantly. "Peter?" I ask confused.

Peter walks into the room, collected. "Ray did everything out of self defense of her feelings, case closed, I need her to come with me now." Peter says as he grabs my wrist and starts dragging me, which surprises me.

I whistle. "Missy." I say as I get dragged out of the room.

Missy follows us and I grab her leash.

We get away from the room and I relax. "Thank you." I say to Peter.

"Why?" Peter asks me confused as he walks quickly. "Were you in trouble?" Peter asks me surprised.

"Yeah, I've been having an ongoing issue with the new guy whose been picking on my issues, I ended up breaking his nose friday." I say to Peter.

"Jesus Christ Ray." Peter says worried about that. "No time for that now anyways, drop your dog off to your dorm house, we need to get to Kurashiki, I already informed my teacher. Endeavor is gonna meet there. He called me because he couldn't get ahold of you." Peter says to me.

I nod and we get to my dorm house where I take Missy to my room and I switch to my boots and I grab my gun holsters with my guns and my belt with my capsules. I put on that stuff and I grab my mask and my gloves. "Be good, stay here Missy." I say to her and she nods.

I race down the stairs as I dial up Endeavor. He picks up. "What's going on?" I ask Endeavor.

"Get to Kurashiki." Endeavor says and hangs up.

Katsu stops me and he looks concerned. "Good morning." Katsu says to me concerned.

I put my phone away as I look at Katsu. "Hey, good morning, sorry I didn't come back, I was talking to principle Nezu about what happened on friday." I say to Katsu who nods. "I have to go to Kurashiki, I'll be back later. I love you." I say to Katsu who nods and he kisses me.

"I love you too, be safe." Katsu says to me worried.

I nod and I leave the building.

Me and Peter leave school grounds quickly. "What's going on?" I ask Peter as we run.

"Kurashiki is on fire, some villains raided and they need water quirks to put out the water and safe civilians." Peter says to me worried.

I nod and we run to Kurashiki and I see Endeavor and his Agency waiting for us.

I put on my gloves as we run over and I put on my mask.

"Cascade, Combustion, get in there, douse the fire and save civilians, Peter and Inferno, you two in there together too." Endeavor orders us.

I nod and me and Combustion go in. I start a large Tsunami and it goes over a large portion of the city, not destroying the buildings, but taking care of the fire. A team follows me and Combustion

I direct what to do with Combustions help and we save a lot of people.

We evacuate the city and afterwards, Endeavor walks over to me.

"Cascade, you did well, you and Peter should go back to School now, we can handle it from here." Endeavor says to me.

"Ok, thanks Endeavor." I say to him.

"Inferno." Endeavor says and Inferno runs over with something in her arms.

"Here." Inferno says as she hands me a coat with the Endeavor Agency symbol on the back, and it's heat insulated to keep me warm.

I hold it, about to cry.

"Don't cry, what's wrong?" Inferno asks worried.

"She's had a rough couple of days." Peter says nervously. "Some new kid has been basically bullying her and no ones done anything about it, and she defended herself physically by breaking his nose, and she's been the one in trouble, none of the adults believed her side of the story, even though her dad was there every time it happened." Peter says to Inferno.

"What?" Inferno asks surprised.

"He's the son of the therapist I used to go to, the two transfered to UA, and he's been giving me endless shit, he mocked my boyfriend and the fact that I needed therapy on friday when I got back from helping you guys at Kurashiki. Dad did nothing to diffuse the situation, he's let Matthew do whatever the fuck he wants to me, and it's really starting to get annoying cause nobody has really taken my side in this cause I have a history of violence, so because of that, I'm in the wrong. I talked with Nezu about this earlier this morning, telling him the whole facts, cause Dad didn't." I say as I think about that whole situation before it dawns on me. "Holy crap, he's got a mind manipulation quirk." I say to Peter whose eyes widen. "His mom has telepathy, his dad has a voice quirk that allows him to control people. Oh my god. I gotta get back to the school and set this right and confront that asshole." I say surprised.

"Combustion, go with them." Endeavor orders Combustion.

"Why?" Combustion asks him.

"Just go." Endeavor orders him.

Combustion grumbles but he follows me and Peter as we run down the streets.
