The Next Morning - Ray's POV

I stir slightly and I feel arms around my shoulder. I open my eyes and I see a sleeping Katsuki there and my face heats up slightly and I bury my head in his chest.

"Would you quit moving? I'm trying to sleep too." Katsuki mutters.

"Sorry." I squeak and he looks at me shocked.

"Did I wake you?" He asks me, tensing and I shake my head slightly and he relaxes.

"No." I say to him, still hiding my face.

"Why are you hiding your face?" He asks me slightly annoyed.

"No reason, my nose is just cold, that's all." I say to him.

"Yeah right." He says to me annoyed and I turn around and look at the time and my eye twitches as I hug my pillow to me.

"Its five thirty in the fucking morning? Brain why you betray me?" I ask and Katsuki hums in agreement.

I get up and turn my alarm off and I head to my drawers and I pull out a pair of shorts and a white T-Shirt.

"What are you doing?" Katsuki asks me and I sigh.

"Your not my dad you know, what does it look like? I'm gonna go running and start exercising my quirk, you know, train for the sports festival, I'm not gonna lose to the other classes, you heard the insomniac, he declared war on us." I say and Katsuki nods and I head into my bathroom and I change and tie my hair up into a pony tail.

I then head out and I head to the house door to see Izu about to leave, probably for a run.

"Izu, let me join you." I say to him with a smile and he looks at me shocked.

"Your up early." Izu says to me and I nod.

"Dumb brain woke me up early." I say and Izu nods.

"Well come on then." Izu says to me with a smile and I nod and follow him and we end up running up and down the beach and inget tired quickly and Izu watches me amused as I bend over with my hands on my knees.

"I'm so out of shape." I say and Izu grins.

"Well we have two weeks before the sports festival, so get into shape, no junk food and eat healthy and exercise." Izu says to me and I pout.

"This is gonna be a long two weeks." I say and I stretch while Izu continues running.

"Come on Ray." Izu says passing me.

"No, I'm gonna work on my quirk now." I say and my phone buzzes and I look at it to see the guy who was working on my guns, texted me about them. "Oooo! My guns! He wants me to test them out to see if they're strong enough to withstand my quirks pressure." I say and Izu nods. "Eh, I'll do it later." I say and I put my phone back in my pocket and I get to work on making my quirk attacks faster since they're already strong enough.

After a few hours I'm on the ground exhausted and Izu is smiling amused above me.

"I'm pooped." I say and we hear a laugh.

"Miss. Midoriya, young Midoriya."

"All Might." Izu greets him with a smile.

I wave and then I push myself back up.

"What are the Midoriya Siblings doing this morning?" All Might asks us.

"I'm whipping myself into shape and killing myself doing so." I say and Izu smiles.

"And I'm just doing my normal workout, while supervising her incase she blacks out." Izu says to him and I pout and he pets my head a few times and I brighten.

"Alright, back to work." I say with a determined look in my eye. "Those other classes are going down in that sports festival." I say and All Might nods.

"That's a good attitude, and motivation, Young Midoriya, do you have the same motivation as her or is it different?" All Might asks him.

"I'm going to be a great hero, that's my dream, that's my motivation." Izu says to him and I smile.

"Miss. Midoriya, what is your dream?" All Might asks me.

"I want to be able to protect the people I care about, I'm a guard dog as Izu puts it." I say and All Might nods.

He and Izu talk for a moment before All Might leaves and I get to work again on my new move.

I work on it everyday while a few days I end up at Katsuki's place and spending the night and waking up next to him each morning and this happens for two weeks until the day of the festival.

"Izu!" I whine as I cling onto him and he smiles amused at my childishness.

"What is it Ray?" Izu asks me.

"I haven't completed my new move yet and its the day of the festival, this sucks." I complain and he pets my head and I brighten slightly.

"Don't worry, you got this, you and Kacchan had the highest scores in the entrance exam." Izu says to me.

"Yeah, true, but that purple hair guy worries me since I don't know his quirk." I say to him and Izu nods in agreement.

"A lot of the other students who we don't know worry me since we don't know their quirks, you could be put up against an earth or lightning quirk or a different type of quirk that has an advantage over you." Izu says to me and I pout.

"Man this sucks, this move was gonna be super strong too." I say as I stamp my foot a few times in a pouting manor. "But I will have to keep an eye on Todoroki and Denki, they're really the only two I have to worry about, for you its Katsuki and Todoroki." I say and Izu nods.

"Let's just hope they don't pit us against each other." Izu says to me.

"Then I'll forfeit and wait another year, I'm not hurting you." I say and Izu looks at me minorly shocked. "Besides, you've had your dream since you were a kid, mine only developed after yours when I was adopted into your family." I say and Izu smiles and pets my head and I smile in content.

"Alright, if that's what your gonna do I won't stop you." Izu says to me and we get off the train and I read the news on our way to the school, only to see about a couple dozen reporters there along with a couple dozen camera crews.

"What the fuck did I just walk into?" I ask and the reporters look right at us.

"In, quickly." Present Mic says to us since were in danger of these guys.

I push Izu in front of me and he walks quickly as I fend off the reporters and their questions.

We get inside and head to the locker rooms where we change then head to a room where our class is in.

"I hate reporters." I mutter as I pull my hair up into a messy bun with most of my hair spilling out of it.

"No kidding." Katsuki says to me annoyed.

"Midoriya." Todoroki says and I look at him as I stand next to Izu.

"You have to be more specific, there's two of them." Ochako says with a sweat drop.

"Both of you." Todoroki says to us and this is when I know, shit is about to get serious. "Objectively speaking, I'm stronger than you more capable. All Might's got his eye on you doesn't he? Now I'm not about to pry into why that is, but I will beat you." Todoroki says to us.

"Well fuck you, actually, no one has their eye on me, I'll just fuck them up. Besides, like you can beat me anyways, second place." I say to him and at the end I smile and Katsuki smirks at me.

"Is this a declaration of war against me?" Todoroki asks me.

"That depends, do you plan on hurting my brother?" I ask him back.

"If its a fight between the two of us, I have no choice." Todoroki says to me.

"Then its war, you'll have me on your hide hunting you forever." I say to him with a closed eyed smile.

"She's too protective of him." Ochako says with a sweat drop.

"What if you an you and your brother get pitted against eachother?" Todoroki asks me.

"Then I'll forfeit, right then and there, I refuse to cause him any harm." I say to Todoroki as if it were a normal thing to say, which coming from my mouth, probably is.

"You'll have to fight him someday." Todoroki says to me.

"No, I won't, I'm not gonna do it and no one can make me, I'll drown anyone who tries." I say to Todoroki.

"Threats come out of her mouth as if she's just speaking normally to Deku." Ochako says nervously.

"That's Ray for you." Izu says to her with a smile.

I smile as Todoroki keeps firing things at me and I just casually talk threats.

"Guys, please don't pick any fights, we're about to go on." Kirishima says to us nervous since I'm just casually speaking death threats to Todoroki.

"Already?" I ask.

"Todoroki, I'm not sure why you felt the need to tell me you'll beat me. You're clearly stronger and I can't measure up to the most of the others here and skill objectively speaking even, but everyone, even the kids from the other courses. are aiming for the top, the strongest hero, and I'm well, lemme this, I'm not going to fall behind I'm going for it to with everything I've got." Izu says to him and then he looks at me. "And Ray, you make everyone nervous with your casual death threats, calm down please." Izu says to me and I nod.

"He's the only one she listens to." Ida says to Ochako who nods.

Izu pets my head and I smile and we head out.

"And now the first year stage. The students are coming out!"

We walk out with everyone looking cool and me smiling next to Izu.

"It's U.A.'s sports festival! The one time each year when our fledgling Heroes compete in a ruthless Grand Battle, first up you know who I'm talking about, the miraculous rising stars who brushed off a villain attack with their Steely will power, the first years of the hero course, it's Class A!" Present Mic announces and I wave as everyone cheers.

"Woah! What a crowd." Izu says nervously and I put my hand on his shoulder.

"And we're expected to put on the best performance we can in front of so many Spectator. I suppose this is merely one more necessary skill if we hope to become Hero's." Ida says to him. "Ray, are you nervous?" Ida asks me.

"No, I'm excited, so many people will get to watch us show off!" I say, barely able to contain my excitement.

"You two couldn't be more different." Ida says to us and I grin while Izu smiles nervously.

"I've been meaning to ask this, but are you two twins?" Ochako asks us.

"No I'm adopted." I say to her holding up a peace sign with a smile and one eye closed.

"What?" Half the class asks shocked.

"Following class B is classed C, D, and E of General Studies and here come the support course classes F, G and H and the Business course." Present Mic announces.

I see purple haired guy and my face falls serious as I watch him like a hawk.

"He's the only one she's worried about." Izu says to Ida who nods.

"He was the only one who could flat out declare war on us and you'd have to be pretty strong to do that to a group of students who survived a villain attack and the villains were confident enough that they could kill All Might, but failed." I say as I keep a close watch on purple haired guy and he sees me watching him and he smirks. "He's a threat." I say and Katsuki looks where I'm looking and his eyes narrow at him dangerously.

"Those two are like guard dogs." Ochako says to Ida who nods.

"Ray, no need to be hostile right now." Izu says to me nervously.

I glance at him and I nod slightly and I just watch purple haired guy for a moment to see him looking at me and I tch in annoyance and I look at the teachers.

"Now for the Athletes Oath." Midnight announces and we listen to people talking. "Pipe down. Your student representatives are from Class 1-A. Katsuki Bakugou and Ray Midoriya." Midnight announces and I look at her, my excitement coming back.

"She can't contain herself." Izu says watching me as I walk up the stairs next to Katsuki.

"The Athletes Oath." Katsuki says and people start yelling and I settle down.

"Alright, there are kids in the audience and at home, so my vocabulary is limited, but if you don't shut up, I will drown you, and make no mistake, I will do it." I say with a smile and half of them shut up.

"A ball of sunshine." Purple haired guy says watching me with a smirk.

I flip him off with a smile and Katsuki smirks slightly at me as we walk down the stairs.
