Ray's POV - A Few Days Later

"Ray, head to the training facility." Mic says to me with a grin as I walk out of the school, done with school.

I look back at Mic for a moment. "Why?" I ask him.

"Shota wanted to speak to you." Mic says to me.

I cringe slightly. "Alright." I say and Mic grins.

Mic walks with me and I ask him about the english homework on the way there.

He explains what I'm having trouble with, the same for math.

"Oh." I say, having a mind-sploshion, hitting my fist on my hand, suddenly understanding it.

Mic laughs.

We get to the facility not a minute later and I walk in, Mic behind me.

I look around for a moment and I see Shinso.

"Hey." I say as I walk over to Shinso.

"What's up?" Shinso asks me.

"Nothing much." I say and Shinso nods. "So why are you here?" I ask him.

"Aizawa-Sensei wanted to talk to me." Shinso says to me.

I nod. "Same." I say and Shinso nods.

We end up doing homework together as we wait, I help him with what he doesn't get for reading, and he helps me with math.

Once we're done with homework, I'm just slightly cold, so I have to warm up.

"Why doesn't this damn building have a heating system? Some people have quirks that don't help with the cold." I grumble as I get up to stretch.

"Your weak to the cold?" Shinso asks me surprised.

I huff quietly. "You know how when you put water into a fridge to cool it down?" I ask Shinso as I do some squats. "And when you put water into a freezer, it freezes?" I ask him.

"Yeah?" Shinso asks me.

"Well since my quit deals with the water in my body and the vicinity around me, I tend to cool down with cool air, and freeze during the winter." I say as I warm myself up.

"Oh good, your both here." Dad says as he walks into the training facility.

"Took you long enough." I say to him.

Dad smirks at me. "You can leave now Mic." Dad says to him.

Mic grins. "Good luck kids!" He yells and leaves.

Me and Shinso stand side by side as Dad walks towards us.

"You both should already know each other." Dad says to us.

"Just cut to the chase, I want to be wearing sweat pants." I say to Dad.

He smirks. "Ray, Shinso is gonna be your foster brother." Dad says to me.

Me and Shinso look at each other for a moment.

I think about it for a moment. "I can use this to my advantage. I'm making dinner." I say and Shinso grumbles. "I'm making you eat healthy." I say as I put my finger on Shinso's chest, asserting my dominance. "You always look malnourished and tired, a good dinner and some sleep should help you. And i'll make it happen, even if you brainwash me." I say as I cross my arms with a snort.

Shinso huffs. "I can't argue with you, can I?" Shinso asks me.

"You can try, but it's not gonna get you anywhere. I look after 22 people on the daily." I say to Shinso.

Shinso grumbles. "Fine." He mutters. "Only if you sleep at night." Shinso says to me.

I look at him, almost surprised. "How many hours are we talking about?" I ask Shinso.

Shinso smirks. "5." Shinso says to me.

I don't like that. "That's 4 more than normal." I say and I start to mutter, trying to fit it into my schedule.

Shinso smirks and I frown slightly.

"I have to cut into my gaming time, dammit." I mutter but I smirk. "Alright, fine, from now on, you join me for my morning runs, and then breakfast, and then come by after school for homework and dinner." I say to Shinso.

"And you'll sleep at night." Shinso says to me.

"I'm agreeing to it." I say and Shinso smirks.

"Fine." Shinso says to me.

"Yes!" I cheer.

"Alright, and we start training tomorrow." Dad says to us.

"Training?" Me and Shinso ask him.

"Extra curricular course for the two of you, so Ray doesn't get shot anymore, and Shinso can join the hero course." Dad says to us.

"Can we please kick out Mineta?" I ask Dad.

"Unfortunately not." Dad says to me.

"Damn it." I say, irritated.

"You two are gonna go through some brutal training, so come prepared for bruises." Dad says to us.

"Alright." I say with a shrug.

"Your ok with that?" Shinso asks me.

I shrug. "While studying with Endeavor, I ended up getting lots of mild burns and some second degree burns. Bruises heal." I say to Shinso who cringes slightly. "Besides, if you put cold metal to bruises. They heal a lot faster." I say and Shinso nods surprised.

I pick up my bag and I walk to the door. "Time to change and relax for the evening." I say and Shinso walks behind me.

"They're totally fine with this." I hear Dad mutter surprised.

We head to our dorms and I head up to my room to see Katsu at my coffee table, doing his homework.

I get changed in my bathroom.

"Where were you?" Katsu asks as I sit down on my bed to pet Eve for a few minutes.

"Dad wanted to talk with me and Shinso. I already got my homework done with Shinso cause we had to wait for Dad to show up." I say and Katsu nods.

Katsu gets up and he comes over to me and forces me to lay down and he cuddles with me.

I smile as I get comfortable and we relax for a bit.

I end up dozing off since he's so warm.

"Ray, I need to finish my homework." Katsu says after a bit.

I grunt quietly. "No, you stay with me." I mumble as I try to keep him pinned to the bed.

Katsu sits up and I end up in his lap. I huff, but I sit up, awake now.

Katsu chuckles quietly and he moves the bangs out of my face.

I look up at him and he snorts amused. "I'll go make dinner." I say as I get up.

"Want help?" Katsu asks me.

"No, its alright, finish your homework. I'm on a mission anyways. Shinso is joining us for dinner and I'm gonna force him to eat healthy." I say and Katsu looks at me amused.

I put on my white slippers and a light jacket and I pull my hair back.

I head downstairs with my phone and wireless headphones.

I make dinner while listening to music.

It's a balanced healthy dinner.

Shinso gets here when I finish and he cringes at the healthy food.

I serve dinner and Ida goes to get everyone.

I pull my headphones down and I sit down at a table with my plate and Shinso sits across from me.

I turn my music off.

Katsu gets down here and he sits next to me.

Me and Shinso bucket through dinner about who the better hero is between Eraser Head and Endeavor.

"How dare you make me choose." I say to Shinso who smirks.

"I thought you didn't like Endeavor as a hero?" Shinso asks me.

I huff as I push my rice around, thinking. "I respect him. Since he did accept me into his agency, despite the fact that he didn't like my mother and he barely liked me. He is trying his best to be a good hero." I say and Shinso nods. "Now Dad on the other hand, he's my teacher and my dad, not to mention his quirk literally just means fuck you, which is respectable itself." I say and Katsu snorts out his tea.

I snicker at that while Katsu laughs.

I continue going on about the two hero's.

"I've never seen Mom talk this much about hero's." Denki says as he tears up.

I end up getting embarrassed by others agreeing.

"Fuck you guys." I say getting up with my empty plate.

I head to the kitchen and I wash my stuff, embarrassed.

"Your as much of a nerd as your brother." Shinso says as he walks into, putting his plate into the sink.

I snort. "Shut up." I say and he teases me about it as I wash the dishes and I clean up my mess.

Shinso finds this absolutely hilarious as I send him back to his dorm house.

I head up to my room to hide.

I play Minecraft on my computer for a bit while listening to my music.

I feel arms around my shoulders and I look up to see Katsu.

He kisses my forehead and he watches me play for a bit.

Katsu then gets some sleep and I end up dozing off on my chair.

I wake up to a knock and I shut my game off.

I get up and I head to the door.

I open it and I see Mina and Chako. "Hey, what's up?" I ask them.

Mina twiddles her fingers. "Do you want to join us for a few games?" Mina asks me.

I lean against the door. "What kind of games?" I ask her.

"Truth or dare, spin the bottle," Mina continues to ramble.

I feel more tired than normal right now. "I think I'll pass, I'm really tired right now and I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow." I say to Mina and Chako.

"What are you doing tomorrow?" Chako asks me curious.

I think about it. "I have my run in the morning, then I'm forcing Shinso to eat a healthy breakfast with us, then school, then a few things off campus, training, dinner, and a long night of gaming." I say and Chako nods.

"Sounds fun!" Chako says to me with a grin.

I hum. "You guys can go have fun, I'm gonna get some sleep." I say to them.

"What if we make a mess?" Mina asks me.

"Then you clean it up." I say and she nods.

I close the door and I lock it.

I got shut my computer off and I turn on hallmark to watch golden girls.

I join Katsu on my bed and I get comfortable behind him, cuddling into his back.

I end up falling asleep.

I wake up to my alarm and I shut it off.

I get up and I get changed.

I drink some water and I head out.

Shinso meets me and he looks exhausted, as usual.

I yawn as I walk over to meet him in front of his dorm.

"Tired?" Shinso asks me with a smirk.

"Sleep just makes me more tired." I grumble and Shinso laughs.

I stretch and Shinso copies me.

We then get started.

Shinso keeps up with me and when we're done, we head into the dorm house and drink some water.

I make breakfast for the two of us and we eat.

He then heads back to his dorm house and I go shower and I put on my school clothes.

Katsu nuzzles my neck as I stand in the kitchen, filling up my cup.

I smile and I turn my head and I kiss his cheek.

Katsu makes himself breakfast and I drink water.

I then go upstairs.

I grab my bag, my phone and my ear muffs since its getting more chilly.

I put on my ear muffs and I head downstairs.

I sit with Katsu as he eats breakfast while Ida gets everyone to wake up.

We then head to the school together and we sit in our seats.

It's a long day of school.

I yawn as I head back into the dorm house, Katsu walking next to me.

"Your tired, didn't you sleep?" Katsu asks me.

I nod. "I did. It's getting colder, I want to hibernate." I say and Katsu smirks.

Katsu puts his arm around my shoulders and the heat warms me up.

I relax into his side and we head up to my room.

I get changed into a pair of black ripped skinny jeans with black flat boots, a cream sweater and my trench coat.

"Therapy?" Katsu asks me.

"Yeah." I say and Katsu hugs me.

I relax into his arms. "I really don't want to do anything right now." I mumble into his chest.

"You have to." Katsu says to me.

I huff quietly.

I grab my bag and I head out.

I head to my therapy session and Nora doesn't look to good.

"Are you ok?" I ask her.

She looks at me surprised before she motions for me to sit down in front of her.

"I have to resign as your Therapist." Nora says, and she really doesn't look good.

I set my bag down. "What's going on?" I ask her.

Nora averts her eyes. "I've been targeted a few times which is why I have canceled some of these sessions." Nora says to me.

I understand why she's doing this, almost instantly. "Your quitting, to protect yourself and your family." I say and Nora looks at me surprised. "And all your patients." I finish.

"How did you know?" Nora asks me.

I look at her for a long moment, contemplating my answer. "I've been through it before." I say to Nora at last once I straighten out my thoughts.

"I'm so sorry, Ray, I know you need this time to help strengthen yourself mentally, and I'm the one you trust with this time, I feel so awful." Nora says to me.

I get up and I walk over and I hug her tightly. "It's alright. Your family comes first. I understand that. My family comes first for me as well. I can always find a therapist on campus to help if I really need it." I say to Nora.

Nora hugs me tightly. "You do need it, and I was getting somewhere. I'm so sorry." Nora continues to apologize.

I sit back and I look at Nora as she stares at her feet.

"I feel like I failed you." Nora says to me.

I snort. "Failed me? You helped me work through my childhood trauma, you've given me a stepping stone to getting a handle on my temper." I say to Nora who looks at me surprised. "Before I started with you, I had accepted that I would have to some how deal with all the trauma that I experienced as a child, by myself. I didn't have any control of my temper and I would blow up constantly. At least now I know how to stop myself and bring myself out of a dark place." I say to Nora who looks like she's about to cry. "You have helped me so much, that you have no reason to apologize." I say to her.

Nora smiles. "Thank you Ray." Nora manages.

I nod. "Thank you, Nora." I say as I get up and I grab my bag. "If you ever need extra protection, text me, I'll be there." I say to Nora who nods.

"Of course. I hope you become the best hero you could possibly be." Nora says to me.

Nora gets up and she goes over to her desk and grabs a folder.

She gives me the folder. "Give this to your next therapist." Nora says to me.

I nod and I put it into my bag. "Alright." I say and she hugs me.

I hug her back and I leave.

I head to the mall for a bit to kill time before I have to head back to the school.
