The Next Day - Ray's POV

"For today's training, we're doing rescue, in teams of two." Aizawa says to the class. "Ray, Bakugou, your team one. Midoriya, Yaoyorozu, team 2. Mineta, Satou, team 3. Kaminari, Kirishima, Team 4. Ashido, Subaku, Team 5. Kouda, Hagakure, Team 6. Shoji, Aoyama, Team 7. Uraraka, Jiro, Team 8. Todoroki, Ojiro, Team 9. Asui, Sero, Team 10. Tokoyami, Iida Team 11." Aizawa lists.

"Putting opposites together so we can learn to work together for in the future when we're pros." I say after a moment.

"Exactly." Aizawa says to me. "Its rational to get you guys to work together." Aizawa continues. "Ray, Bakugou, your objective is to save the middle aged adults from the Villain Ectoplasm, I don't know where he's hid them." Aizawa says to the two of us. "You better get there though, He's threatened to blow up the hostages." Aizawa says as he looks at his phone.

I jump off the side of the cliff, Katsuki next to me.

I slide on my water while Katsuki blasts down.

"Ray, we're gonna take Ectoplasm head on and make him tell us where the Hostages are." Katsuki says once we're at the bottom.

I nod and we go find Ectoplasm and he's waiting for us.

"Tell us where the Hostages are." Katsuki says to him.

"You'll have to defeat me first." Ectoplasm says to us.

"Ray." Katsuki says as a lot of Ectoplasms surround us.

I swipe my hand up and water comes up from the ground and defeats the Ectoplasms along with the real one.

"Overkill?" I ask.

Katsuki smirks. "Not a chance." Katsuki says and he smacks Ectoplasm awake and gets him to tell Katsuki what he wants to know. "Let's go." Katsuki says to me and I bind Ectoplasm with water restraints.

Me and Katsuki find the spot, but there are no hostages. "You naive hero's." We hear around us.

I use my Quirk to throw Katsuki out of the Explosion and to protect me from the rubble.

Once the explosions stop, I'm buried under a pile of rubble.

The ground below me gives out and I fall into a large hole where I see the hostages with a bomb above them.

I land on my ass. "Well that could have gone better." I say to myself and I get up and I walk over to the bomb and I smash it with my foot a few times and I proceed to untie the hostages.

"Thank you!" A female woman cries as she clings to who I assume to be her significant other.

"Don't thank me yet, we still gotta get out of here." I say to her and I look around and it seems to be a sort of basement, not a hole.

"There's a door over there that the villain walked out of after he placed the bomb." A guy says motioning behind him.

I look over at the door and I walk over, I try to open it, but its locked from the outside.

I back up and I kick it off its hinges, effectively setting off a bomb that I contain in a dome of water. "I'm getting real tired of these bombs." I say in slight annoyance as the now exit is blocked by debris.

I use water to move the debris into a pile in the corner of the basement.

"This is taking too long hero." A guy says to me, angry.

"Sir, I'll have to ask you to clam down, I'm pissed too, but I have to be careful as to not cause more debris to fall and take longer." I say to him.

Some hostages complain and I get irritated, but I just stare forward as I continue clearing the debris.

If they continue to complain, I'm leaving their asses behind.

"Come on, hurry up!" A guy yells at me.

I take a deep breath in and I let it out slowly while mentally counting down from 10, trying so hard not to go off at him.

The debris is blasted towards us and I blocked it with a water wall.

"Ray!" Katsuki yells running in, pissed.

The debris falls and the people behind me shut up.

"If you didn't come one second sooner, I would not have been held responsible for their impatience." I say to Katsuki who smirks.

"Let's get out of here, now. I managed to knock out the real Ectoplasm." Katsuki says to me and I nod.

The hostages run out of the hole with Katsuki at the front and me at the back.

We get out and to the safe place.

"Ray, Bakugou." Recovery Girl says to us with a nod.

Recovery girl checks on the hostages and I look at Katsuki who looks just at irritated as how I feel.

I tug on his sleeve and he looks at me and smirks and kisses my cheek.

"I feel like its gonna snow tonight." I say to Katsuki.

"We'll just have to stay in my room again." Katsuki says to me and I nod.

We watch the other teams do their thing. And unsurprisingly, a few teams failed, they just couldn't work together.

Mineta's team fails, Mina's team fails, Kiri's team fails, and Hagakure's team fails.

"You know, I'm not surprised grape head failed." I say and Izu sweat drops.

I shrug and I shiver as a cold draft blows into the room.

I pull my cape around my shoulders and Katsuki smirks.

I watch Tokoyami and Ida pass and then we all go get changed into our uniforms.

"For those of you who didn't pass, there will be a class this evening to make up for your failure." Aizawa says to them. "For those of you who did pass, there will be Pizza in the dorm house for you when you get back. The students who failed have to stay in the classroom." Aizawa says to us.

"I don't have to cook?" I ask and Aizawa nods.

"Those who passed are dismissed and can go back to the dorms." Aizawa says to us.

We head back to the dorms and I eat with Katsuki before I have to go to the Therapist appointment.

Once I get back, I take a hot bath in the common bathroom, Tara joins me and so does Momo.

"So relaxing." Tara says relieved.

I just scroll through my search page on Instagram as Momo and Tara talk.

"Hey Ray, what say we have a girls day this weekend, all us girls in 1-A go have fun?" Momo asks me.

"I can do Sunday, Nora has family over that day and won't be able to do my appointment, busy Saturday." I say absentmindedly as I watch someone use ash to make a mural on a park wall.

"Sunday it is." Momo says excitedly.

I sit back and start playing a rpg game on my phone that I was downloading.

Mina, Hagakure and Ochako join the bath and the girls get loud.

I just ignore them as I soak and play my new game.

"We should go to the mall, and then to the food court and do some shopping and then maybe go see a movie." Mina says to everyone. "Ray can fund it all." Mina says to us.

"I'm only funding three people, me, Tara and Ocha." I say as I fight some small monster.

"Aww man!" Mina cries.

I just ignore that as I kill the monster, I get my reward and I continue to do side quests and leveling up before I take on the main quests.

Mina end up washing my hair and back as I use my foot to hold a loofa and scrub Tara's back, all while playing my new game.

Jiro joins us and I scrub her hair with one hand while scrolling through Instagram, having done all I could do today on that game.

"Get off your phone." Tara says taking it away from me and tossing it on the clothes I set out for myself.

I look at my phone and I sigh. "Fine." I say and I scrub Jiro's hair more thoroughly and Mina finishes with my hair.

"Your hair is so thick and long, I'm not jealous at how much work is probably put into it." Mina sighs.

"What work? I haven't been able to brush it since the last time I straightened it." I say to her and Tara laughs.

Once we're all fully cleaned and rinsed, I put on my thick black sweat pants and my white sweater.

I try to brush my hair but its already too curly.

I look at my hair annoyed and I give up and just put my brush into my bag and I brush my teeth.

I do my face routine, Via Arbbone products shipped to me from a cousin in America who wanted me to try it. Its been working.

Once finished, I blow dry my hair and I step out of the bathroom to be met with cold air.

"Shit." I mutter and Tara laughs next to me.

I head up to my room and I put my stuff away and I grab my uniform and whatever I'll need for tomorrow and I head down to Katsu's room where I dump my stuff in a pile out of the way.

I head down to the common area and I see Katsu on the couch on his phone and I lay on top of him.

Katsu kisses my cheek and I kiss his as his free arm rests on my back. We just chill and be on our phones for a while.

"You two together are adorable and intimidating." Tara says as she curls up on a recliner chair with a weighted blanket.

The door opens and a cold draft blows in, making me curl up into Katsu's side between the couch and him, and he blocks the draft from hitting me.

"I never thought Ray would be so sensitive to the cold." Denki says surprised as he walks past.

"Fuck off." Katsu says annoyed. "And someone close that damned door!" Katsu orders and it gets closed.

I just stay cuddled into Katsu's side as I scroll through instagram on my phone.

Katsu gets up after a minute and I watch him walk towards the guys dorm elevator, a pissed off look in his eyes.

"People need to stop pissing him off on Twitter, he's done this twice now." I say and I get up.

I go heat up some pizza from earlier and I go grab my black weighted blanket from my room and I sit on the couch with the weighted blanket that has heating pads in it, and my pizza.

I eat while watching Tik Tok and I see Denki had recorded me and Katsu just now before Katsu went to go murder someone.

"I hope Katsu kills Denki." I say and Tara laughs.

Tara joins me on the couch and we share weighted blankets as we do our own thing.

"We should come up with a move the two of us can do." Tara says to me.

"I watched all of the villain fights that Mom and Tema were apart of, I saw a few moves we could recreate but better." I say subconsciously.

"We should create our own move though." Tara says to me.

I shrug slightly and I hear a scream. "We could, I was gonna do some training on Saturday to come up with something new, Dad and Shinso were gonna join, apparently Dad has been helping Shinso behind my back or something like that." I say and Tara hums.

"We could come up with great things." Tara says to me and I just hum as think about my therapist appointment from earlier about communication.

"Words." I say and Tara laughs.

I play one of the games on my phone until Katsu wants to cuddle, so Tara moves back to the recliner.

Katsu cuddles with me and makes me put my phone away.

I end up taking a nap though.
