Later that Night - Ray's POV

"Ray! You have a careful eye!" Kiri says at the common room.

"I'm in the kitchen!" I call and Kiri comes in with Tamajiki.

"Tamaki got shot by something and now he can't use his quirk." Kiri says to me worried.

I raise an eyebrow and I put the knife down.

I wash my hands as Tamajiki looks like he wants to hide.

I dry my hands and I look him over carefully.

I find something and I pull it out carefully.

I look at it surprised. "Huh, never seen this before." I say and Tamajiki looks at me surprised.

I wipe anything on it, of of it, then I stick it into my arm.

"Why would you do that?" Tamajiki asks me shocked.

I attempt to use my quirk, but I can't, so I pull the thing back out. I use my quirk and succeed. "I thought so." I say and I set the pin type thing on the counter. "Well? Are you going to use your quirk?" I ask Tamajiki.

He attempts it, and it works. "T-Thanks." Tamajiki mutters.

I smile. "Your welcome, now go on, I have to finish making dinner." I say and he nods.

"Your so cheerful." Tamajiki comments.

"This is one of the good nights that I am." I say to him and Tamajiki nods.

The Next Morning

I head to the door of the dorm house door in my sweatpants and a black t-shirt.

I put my hair up into a pony tail as I wait for Izu and he gets here in his school uniform.

"Shouldn't you be wearing your uniform?" Izu asks me.

"I forgot to put it in the dryer before my run." I say with a small cringe.

Izu grins and we start walking.

Kiri joins us, the Ocha and Tsuyu as well.

We go on the same train, get off on the same stop, turn the same corner and the big three meet us.

I end up standing next to Tamajiki while the sunshines greet eachother. "I wasn't prepared to be blinded this morning." I say as I watch my classmates.

We head inside, I'm a little surprised by all the pros, but not too surprised.

I see a giant roach looking guy and I hide behind Kiri who sweat drops.

"Its a pro, Ray." Kiri says to me.

"I don't want to sound rude, but I don't like giant long antenas." I say and Kiri sweat drops.

"Kacchan scared her with a cockroach when we were kids and the antenas wiggled in her ear, she's been uncomfortable and scared by them since then." Izu says with a sweat drop.

I shrug. "That's the day our town got a swimming pool." I say and Kiri sweat drops.

"Night eye, shall we begin?" A female pro asks him.

Nighteye starts talking, I half pay attention.

"Ray, pay attention to this." Aizawa says to me as we walk to the meeting room. "You need to know this especially, your young, but out of everyone in your class, you have the most experience, your gonna be treated like a pro in here because of how developed your quirk is." Aizawa says to me.

I look at him surprised. "Ok." I say and Aizawa hums.

"Our quirks are going to come in handy with what's happening." Aizawa says to me and I nod.

Aizawa makes me sit next to him, to make sure I'll pay attention.

"For the past two weeks here at the Nighteye Agency, we have been, uh, conducting an independent investigation of the designated villain group known as Shie Hassaikai." Bubble Girl says to everyone.

"What started this investigation?" A pro asks confused.

"An incident involving a band of thieves called the Reservoir Dogs. The Police wrote it off as a mere accident, but  there were a few inconsistencies that prompted our investigation." Bubble Girl says to him.

"Nighteye Agency sidekick Centipeder here. Under Nighteye's orders, I've been following some of the leads. According to my findings, the organization has been making extensive contact with outsiders and underworld dealers throughout the past year. Their goals seem to be the expansion ad accumulation of funds. And shortly after we began investigating they made contact with a member of the League of Villains." Centipeder says to us. "Jin Bubaigawara, who goes by the villain name twice. They were all very wary of being tailed, so we couldn't pursue them then, but the police have provided further assistance. Their findings confirm some sort of conflict between the two groups." Centipeder finishes.

I tap my fingers on the table lightly, just thinking.

"Something to do with the league huh? So that's why you reached out to me and Tsukauchi." Gran Torino says, not really surprised.

"Where is Detective Tsukauchi?" The pro next to Gran Torino, asks him.

"Following up with more eyewitnesses." Gran Torino says to him. "Kid, lets hope it doesn't come to this, but you might get dragged into come nasty business." Gran Torino says to Izu.

I just sit here, confused. "I don't know how, I don't know why, but I'm gonna kick whoevers ass that decided to fuck up my day, and force me out of bed." I say and Aizawa shakes his head.

"Ray, manners, no cursing." Aizawa says to me.

I put my head in my arms.

"U.A. students or not, what are these kids doing here?  They're only slowing us down. The suns gonna set before we even get to talking about the bad guys grand plan." A dark skinned hero who sits next to Izu, asks.

My eyes flicker over to him, and I slowly raise my head. "Bitch I'll have you know I'm almost as strong as the top three of U.A. I can and will kick your extra ass." I say and Aizawa sighs.

"You said it Ray!" Hado cheers.

The guy looks at me annoyed, and I return his stare with a calm  one. "I will fuck your shit up so bad, you won't know what year it is by the time I finished with you." I say with the most calmest, serious tone, anybody who knows me, has ever heard before.

My classmates freeze. "RAY NO!" They yell at me and my quirk is gone and I look to my left to see Aizawa staring at me.

"Not right now, I know better than that." I say in disbelief. "My feelings are hurt now." I say and Aizawa calms down as I shake my head, before settling it back into my arms, but not before I flip the dark guy off.

He glares at me and I shrug and look away.

"Ray is here for a reason, she may be a student who hates interaction of any kind this early in the morning, and a problem child, but she has unique skills. Endeavor recommended that she join." Aizawa says to the guy.

"No he didn't! He was just like, ok you start tomorrow, your joining Nighteye's investigation until it ends." I say to Aizawa who back hands me over the head. "I'm not wrong and that didn't hurt!" I protest.

"Shut up and calm down." Aizawa says to me.

I scowl at him. "Your fucking I can't fit out that window otherwise I'd be half way home by now." I say to Aizawa and he sighs.

"Ray, be good." Izu says to me.

I look at him in betrayal, but I listen to him.

Nighteye looks at everyone. "Hassaikai, was once suspected, of dealing in illegal substances. Which is why I've called I've called in a hero familiar with such things." Nighteye says to us.

I stretch my arms across the desk as I listen to Fat talk.

Tamajiki turns his hand into a cow hoof and I blink.

"I would question, but I've had weirder things for breakfast." I say and Aizawa sighs.

"So he recovered, that's a relief, seems its not fatal." Dark skin says to everyone.

"Ray stuck the thing in her arm to test it." Tamajiki adds and Aizawa hits me on the head before I could counter.

"Look, I had to make sure that's what was stopping his quirk." I say to them. "It was a small blow dart needle, modified to be shot by a gun, I was studying it all night in confusion." I say to everyone.

"Did you get anywhere with it?" Mirio asks me.

I shrug. "It attacks the quirk, much like what my quirk can do, but its more like temporarily stealing it, Aizawa just erases the quirk, I keep a quirk disabled as long as I've hit my opponent with water and they're wet because of it. Its complicated, All For One could steal quirks, as I've seen, its sort of like that, but modernized and modified." I say to Mirio and he looks surprised.

"Wow." Dark skin guy says surprised.

I pull a baggie out of my pocket with the thing in it. "I brought thing if anybody wants it, I got a headache from straining my eyes too much, trying to study it." I say and Bubble Girl takes the baggie.

"Thanks Cascade." She says to me and I nod.

The pros go on to talk about what was inside the second capsule that bounced off Kiri, human blood cells.

I stare at the wall in disgust. "I will personally enjoy kicking this guys ass." I say and Aizawa sprays me with water. I grab the bottle and throw it out the door. "I am going to personally enjoy destroying anything you can spray me with as well." I say and Aizawa shakes his head in annoyance.

Nighteye goes over the young leader Chisaiki, his quirk is over haul, destroy rebuild, all that.

"You two got lucky." I say and that makes Mirio and Izu stare at me as if I were crazy.

The pros go on to talk about how Chisaiki might be using Eri to make these bullets.

I glare at the wall. "I am gonna kick his ass so far into next week, he won't see me coming." I say and Aizawa glances at me.

"Your the step daughter to Randy, right?" Ryukyu asks me and I nod. "I can see why." She says to me.

"I would leave it to you, Ray, since your capable, with your gifted quirk, but we don't quite know what we're dealing with." Nighteye says to me.

"You'd entrust that to a kid?" Dark skin asks shocked.

I glare at him. "Shut up, he isn't, because everyone is still unsure about this. Keep up and use your head, even I wouldn't fight him alone, as reckless as I can be, I'm not an idiot." I retort, paying him back for that remark he made against Kiri.

They go on to finish talking about the girl, and then Mirio and Izu stand up and vow to save her.

"Well Ray?" The two ask me.

I look up at them. "Guess I won't be storming the castle alone then." I say and the two nod.

"Storming the castle?" Dark skin asks me.

I snort. "It means attacking the base, getting the bad guy, save the girl, fight the bad guys, so on so forth, and all the fun jazz. I was thinking of tracking the actual base down, and getting them while they're asleep, or at least getting the girl out of there as stealthily as possible." I say to him.

"Its not a bad plan." Centipeder says to me. "But shoes make noise." He says to me.

"I have a few friends in the support classes, one is a fanatic in making things." I say to him.

Tamajiki stares at me. "You were gonna go alone?" He asks me.

Dark skin brings up a valid point, and I see I've been assigned to a hideout in Kurashiki, alone.

"Wow." I say surprised. "Why Kurashiki?" I ask.

"That's Mizukage's territory." Aizawa says to me and I nod. "Your her daughter, so its only right that, that's where your defending." Aizawa says to me.

I nod. "That makes sense." I say and Nighteye nods.

"From what I understand, you should know that city well." Centipeder says to me and I nod.

"Wow, a kid gets to go alone, that's totally safe." Dark skin mocks.

I dump water on him, with a simple thought.

I look away as the people who don't know my quirk well enough, look around confused.

Aizawa shakes his head. 

The meeting ends after they leave it be and decide to deal with the problem.

I get out of my seat first and I walk out the door without a word, but rage is swirling inside of me.

"She's determined to help that little girl." Hado says behind me.

"Ray has always been like this, she's angry right now, not at herself, but at that girls father." Izu says to her.

I get forced to sit with the rest of our small school group, but I just pace, thinking, planning, looking intimidating, planning a murder, the usual.

"Ray, calm down." Aizawa says as he walks in. 

"Fuck you. I'm planning a very elaborate murder." I say and Aizawa pats my head, making me stop and look up at him.

"I get that your mad, but you need a clear head for this, I would cancel your work study, but your a vital part of this now." Aizawa says to me.

I snort and look away with a pout of annoyance.

Aizawa moves onto the others as I sit down on the floor, ignoring everything.

I glare at the ground. "I'm gonna save that girl, and I have a feeling I won't be sleeping until I do." I say and Aizawa shakes his head.

"You'll fall asleep at some point." Aizawa says to me.

"I can stay awake for a long ass time, that's the power of Insomnia." I say and he rolls his eyes.
