Day of Exams - Ray's POV

I sit in class, chewing on the end of my pencil as I look at my paper and I get to work on the problems.

Once the test is over, I'm mentally exhausted.

I rest my head in my arms and release a long exhausted groan.

"That stretched my brain muscles, and destroyed my last two brain cells." I say and half the class hums in agreement.

"Alright, everyone gear up, you've got an hour to get ready for the practical exams." Aizawa says to us and then leaves the room.

"Oh this'll be fun." I say sarcastically as we all get up and get our hero suits.

"Right?" Kirishima asks excited and I sweat drop.

"I'm pretty sure I was being sarcastic." I say to him.

"How much is pretty sure?" Kirishima asks me.

"I don't know, 99 percent sure." I say to him and Izu sighs at the both of us.

"Ray, where were you all weekend?" Izu asks me.

"Katsuki's." I say to him.

"Why?" Izu asks me.

"Mrs. Mitsuki, exams." I say and he nods.

Everyone gets changed and we head outside.

"Alright."

The exam gets explained to us and basically, we're fighting teachers, not Robots.

"Damn it." I say and Katsuki nods.

"Now for partners, this is an uneven amount of students, so we're bringing in two people, one to partner with Ray, and one to fight her." Aizawa says to us and I just die on the spot as Tony and Peter walk out of the school behind them.

"WHAT THE HELL AIZAWA-SENSEI?" I yell at him and he gives me a smirk with a peace sign.

"Its your Agency leader and another person from your agency." Izu says to me shocked and I sulk.

"I'm not looking forward to this." I say and Peter walks over and leans on my shoulder with a smirk.

"How lucky are you Ray? Having me on your team and all that?" Peter asks me with a smirk.

"Yeah sure, though I believe I was the one who kicked your ass on her first day." I say to him and he chuckles nervously. "Now get off my shoulder, your not a bird." I snap and he gets off me.

"Uhm, what?" Mina asks as she looks at us. "He's a second year!" Mina protests.

"And I kicked his ass." I say to her and she looks at me in shock. "I don't see a problem, do you see a problem Izu?" I ask him and he shakes his head.

"Not one, she's stronger than him quirk wise." Izu says with a shrug and I nod.

"Alright, the first team will be Peter and Ray against Tony." Principle Nezu says to everyone.

"No time to prepare, cool, that's just, awesome." I say sarcastically.

"Isn't it? I mean that's my dad we're going to fight and he's a pro hero, its just, great." Peter says to me sarcastically.

"Not two sarcastic ones!" Mina complains.

Me and Tony head to the start area while figuring out a plan.

"So, I should mention something about Dad's quirk since you've never seen it in action." Peter says to me. "His quirk is Mud, he can control the ground under us along as its earth ground." Peter says to me and I groan.

"Nooo! That just made this harder! I can't beat someone who uses an earth and water quirk!" I complain and Peter nods.

"That's why I'm here, I know his tricks, so the playing field is evened out." Peter says to me and I nod. "We won't be able to get to the escape gate, it'll be impossible if the ground is earth." Peter says to me and I nod.

"Well I have the cuffs." I say to him and Peter nods as I attach them to my belt securely.

We walk inside and its a forest.

"Oh yeah, severe disadvantage already." I say and Peter nods.

"We should get into a tree as quickly as possible before the ground gets muddy." Peter says to me and I nod.

We climb into a tree and I get to the top and I look around to see the escape gate farther away from us than I would have liked.

"Where is Dad?" Peter asks as he keeps watch below.

"Escape gate." I say to him. "No, wait, he's running this way." I say to him.

"Got it." Peter says to me.

"I see a pond about a mile west from here, we should try to get there." I say to Peter who hums.

"Bad idea, Dad will head there first, there's a good chance that he already knows about it." Peter says to me and I nod.

A mud wave comes from us and I stare at it for a moment.

"Shit." I say and we drop out of the ground and run as fast as we can to get away from it.

"Doesn't your quirk have a twist to it?" Peter asks me and I nod. "What does it do?" Peter asks me.

"My water can cancel out any quirk once it touches it, but it has to be the person with the quirk, instead of the mud wave behind us." I say to him and Peter nods.

"Pretty useless if we don't want to get into contact with Dad then." Peter says as we duck behind a rock with covering and the mud wave goes right past us.

I look at the mud all over the place and twitch. "Its, so messy." I say and Peter nods.

"Let's get going before Dad finds us." Peter says to me and I nod.

We make a dash under the trees and Peter slips, but I catch him by the back of his suit before he fell fast first into the mud.

"Wait." I say and I look down to see us being swallowed by mud. "Shit." I say and I use my quirk to get Peter into a tree next to us.

"Found you two!" Tony cheers as Peter reaches down towards me.

"Fuck." The both of us say and I reach up and Peter grabs my hand as I hit Tony with a waterfall, which stops me from sinking.

Peter pulls me up and we look at Tony.

"This is gonna be a pain in the ass." I say and Peter nods.

I start thinking of plans right now and I finally come up with one that might work.

"No, I can't use that plan hypothetically like that." I mutter to myself and I continue muttering out plans while Peter sweat drops next to me and after a minute, I come up with one. "Peter, I'm gonna use my quirk to throw you." I say to him.

"WHAT?" He yells and I nod.

"Don't worry, it'll hurt." I say to him and he sulks.

"Can you at least tell me the plan?" Peter asks me.

"I'm gonna run that way and avoid the mud as Tony comes for me, I'm gonna wear him out and when I get go where you'll be waiting which will be next to the lake two miles east, your gonna set up traps and wait for us, and we'll capture him that way." I say to Peter who nods.

"Its decent enough, but are you sure your gonna be able to dodge the mud?" Peter asks me and I nod.

"Its not gonna be easy, but its a plan." I say to him and he nods.

I use my quirk to throw Peter towards the lake and I know Tony didn't hear it see anything through all that water on him.

I jump down and I snap my fingers, the water stopping from nearly drowning Tony.

I start running and Tony chases me. I run all around the forest while side stepping his mud holes and when I get to the lake, I get pulled up into a tree while Tony gets caught in traps.

I breath heavily as I watch Tony break the traps with brute strength.

"Fuck." I say and Peter nods.

"This is gonna take a little longer than expected." Peter says to me and I nod.

The tree we're in starts to sink and I look at the mud.

"Oh this is fucking great!" I say exasperated and Peter nods. "Ok, long shot here, but I'm gonna kick you into that lake." I say to Peter who looks mortified but I kick him into the lake before the tree sinks completely along with half of me. "Ok, this is disgusting." I say and Tony smirks down at me.

"Give up?" Tony asks me and I think.

"Not yet." I say to him and Peter gets out of the water, soaking wet and uses the water to punch Tony into a tree.

Peter gets me out of the. Mud and I'm covered in it.

"I'm disgusting." I say and Peter nods.

"Just take a swim in the lake." Peter says to me and I roll my eyes.

"Yeah, no, let's just finish this before I'm covered head to toe in mud." I say to him and Peter nods.

Tony gets up and I cover my fists in water and Peter gets ready to fight him as I get on the defensive.

"Alright you two, come at me as best as you can." Tony says to us with a smirk.

I run forwards and I duck Tony's punch and I uppercut him, he stumbles back and grabs my arm, throwing me towards Peter.

"Duck!" I yell at Peter and he ducks, running forward.

I twist and land sliding on my feet over the mud.

I grab Peter's wrist as he flies back towards me and I spin, throwing him at Tony and Peter grabs Tony as he flies past and Tony flips face first into his own mud as Peter lands on his feet.

"Awesome!" I cheer jumping up and down.

"That was painful." Tony says getting up.

"Oh come on! Just lose already!" Me and Peter yell at him.

"Sorry guys, but I don't lose." Tony says to us with a smirk.

I groan. "Why did it have to be you?" I complain as Peter jumps down next to me.

"Because, you needed to be pushed to your limits." Tony says to me with a smirk.

"Do I want to deal with dehydration and exhaustion, or sumer school?" I ask myself as I think about this.

"The earlier." Peter says to me and I nod.

I sigh. "Alright, someone piss me off already?" I ask and Peter sweat drops. "My feelings fuel my quirk, if I'm pissed, I'll use my quirk to its best ability." I say to Peter who nods.

"Well then." Peter says coming up with nothing.

"Never mind, I'll deal." I say and Peter nods.

I create a baseball bat out of water and I rush at Tony, hitting him head on while he punches me in the stomach, I tch, wincing, but Tony falls to the ground unconscious and I fall on my kneels.

"That hurt." I mutter as I hand cuff Tony.

I hold my stomach as Peter walks over.

"We won." Peter says shocked.

"Yeah." I say as I get up and we drag Tony to the exit gate.

"You guys are so muddy." Recovery girl says to us and I nod.

"Give me a moment." I say to her and she nods and I blast both me and Peter with water and the mud washes off us. "There, no longer muddy, just, soaking, wet." I say and shiver slightly.

"Go get changed into something dry so you both don't catch a cold." Recovery Girl says to us and we nod.

We head to our changing rooms and I change into my gym uniform.

I brush out my hair and I walk to the booth to see Izu watching the next fight.

"Ray!" Izu says shocked as I walk over next to him.

"Hi." I say to him and I look at the screen for a moment before I sit on the floor.

"Are you ok?" Izu asks me nervously.

"Yeah, that fight, I had so many disadvantages, I didn't think I was gonna come out on top." I say to him as I lay on my back, relief flooding through me, I can't even move now 'cause I'm so relieved.

"Yeah, you two were both at a disadvantage, but you were able to win." Izu says to me and I nod, a triumphant smile on my face.

"I beat a pro hero, without even knowing his quirk until his son told me, I'm awesome." I say and Izu hums.

I manage to sit up and watch Momo and Shoto fight Aizawa and I find this fight, a little, odd.
