Ray's POV - A While Later

I take the train to a city next to Hosu and I get off the train looking around.

"Let's see." I say to myself as I pull my headphones up and I head to the address to find a mansion. "What? The fucking hell?" I ask shocked and I look at my address again to see its right.

I sigh in defeat and I walk up the driveway and to the door which opens up to me, making me back up in surprise.

I pull my headphones down around my neck as I warily walk inside.

"SHE'S ARRIVED!" A kid yells from the chandelier in the center of the room.

I use my quirk to get him down safely with a nervous smile. "You should really be careful up there, you could get hurt." I say to him and he grins.

"My name is Adrian Kage, I'm you cousin." The kid says to me and I look at him in mild shock.

"There she is!" A woman cheers, she looks around Mom's age but with pale blue hair and blue eyes.

I see more people coming out of rooms and I slowly back up but I hit a closed door. "Crap." I mutter.

"Ray darling, its been too long." The woman says as she walks towards me but I shoot water down at her feet making her stop.

"No closer, who the hell are you, and how the hell do you know who I am?" I ask her and she laughs.

"Your mother was my sister in law, I'm May Kage, I'm you aunt." The woman says to me with a smile.

"As for how, you quirk gave it away, your quirk is like your mothers quirk." A guy with brown hair and brown eyes says to me with a calm smile.

"Not to mention the grave yard, you showed up behind us and stayed there until we left." A girl around my age with bluish blonde hair says to me as she texts on her phone.

I look even more confused as a teenage boy just stands there with airpods in his ears, not even listening as he looks at his phone.

"Don't mind your other cousin, he thinks he's better than us." The girl my age says to me and I nod.

"Ok? Well if he treats me like trash, then he'll more than likely have a scar to remember me by." I say and the girl grins.

"Well, Ginny dear, take Ray to her temporary room, we do patrol in two hours." May says to her and the girl nods.

"Wait, what?" I ask confused.

"Mom is a Harry Potter fan." Adrian says to me and I nod. "Also the other teen, his name is Peter."

I nod. "Wait." I say and the guy smirks looking away. "Goddammit." I say and I follow Ginny to a room on the second floor and its considerably bigger than mine back at home.

"Welcome to your room for the week." Ginny says to me with a smile and I look at it.

"Its big." I say with a blank look.

"Yeah, all the rooms are, now, get yourself set up and change into your hero suit." Ginny says to me with a smile and then leaves me to my room.

I shut the door behind me and I set my case and bag down next to my temporary bed.

The door opens and in comes Peter who just lays down on my floor and stares at me.

"You know, if I wasn't used to people barging in on me, then I would have kicked your ass already." I say to him with a roll of my eyes and I set my laptop up, ignoring him as I type in the WiFi password left on my desk.

"Fight me so I can win." Peter says to me and I roll my eyes ignoring him. "I bet your scared, to fight me, I mean, I am a second year at U.A." Peter continues.

"And I'm a first year, Class A." I say to him.

"What?" He asks annoyed.

"Yeah, we're kind of famous, my classmates Katsuki Bakugou won the games this year, we survived a villain attack also." I say to him with a simple shrug.

"Fight me." Peter says to me and I shrug.

"Ray, I'm coming in." May says through the door and Peter escapes out the window.

"What the hell." I say as I walk over to the window to see him vine swinging between trees, all the way to the back yard

May comes in with a plate with a sandwich on it.

"I thought you might be hungry." May says to me with a smile.

I nod unsure.

"You don't have to be so wary you know." May says to me with an amused smile.

"Uh huh." I say as she sets the plate next to my laptop.

"Do you need help getting into your costume?" May asks me as she looks at my case.

"No." I say to her and she nods.

"Ok, ok, well, we leave for patrol in an hour." May says to me with a frown and leaves.

I close the door and get changed into my hero wear which was modified again, I have a belt with water capsules and my coat now doesn't have sleeves, and the boots have a place for more capsules.

I head to the back yard to see a place to practice and Peter jumps down next to me as I tie my hair up into a ponytail, excluding my bangs.

"You found the practice area." Peter says to me with a smirk.

I nod. "Do you have any targets?" I ask him.

"Why?" Peter asks confused.

I pull out my guns and he looks at them surprised. "This is why, they were modified recently because my quirk broke them in the USJ incident, my quirk is too strong so I needed something to filter it, and this works because I'm a mid to long ranger fighter." I say to him with a small shrug and he sweat drops.

"Just shoot anywhere." Peter says to me and I nod.

I fire off my gun a few times at a training dummy, right in the head, the gun doesn't make a sound as the water bullets go through the metal.

I see Peter almost faint at the power and I smirk.

"Still want to fight me?" I ask him and he nods.

"I'm still gonna win." Peter says to me with half his confidence.

"Uh huh." I say, deciding to humor him.

I put my guns back in the sheaths on my thighs and I put my fists up as he gets into a defensive position.

"You, aren't gonna use your guns?" Peter asks me and I raise an eyebrow.

"Oh please, I have to give you a chance at least." I say to him with a smirk and he scowls slightly.

"Your so cocky." Peter says to me and I shrug.

I cover my fists in water and I rush at him, attempting to punch him but he jumps out of the way and I hit him with a waterfall.

"What?" Peter asks before I uppercut him and he flies back, lands with a thud and I look at him with a smirk.

"I can at least back up what I say." I say to him as I stand up straight.

"Wow, your strong." Adrian says on the sidelines.

"The fight hasn't even started." Peter says as he gets up with a smirk.

"Oh well." I say with a sigh and he rushes at me with a punch and I dodge it, he continues to try and assault me with his punches or kicks but I either block or dodge, he backs me near a pool and then manipulates the water to pick me up and pull me under the surface.

I think about my options for a moment as Peter looks over the side to see me just in time for me to punch him in the face as I fly up with the water boosting me, I kick him in the side and he slides on the ground as I land on the grass, soaking wet.

I get up like nothing happened as I stretch, shaking the water off my suit, yeah that's another feature, it's waterproof so it can't shrink since its mostly leather.

I wring out my hair as I side step Peter. "Dude, give it up, I'm better than you right now." I say to him as he continues to try and hit me, but I punch him in the stomach and he keels over. "That's enough, I'm done, I don't want to use my quirk at 100 percent yet, the day is still going." I say as I walk towards the back door.

"How are you so much better than me?" Peter asks and I look back at him.

"I get up every morning at six o'clock, run for six miles, go back home, shower, change into my uniform and head go class where we either train our quirks or learn academics. After school I train by myself next to a beach in a secluded area until I've used up all my energy and then some, and after all that, I still eat healthy meals that I make for myself, I do my homework, and then I sleep for about eight hours, and the process starts again." I say to him and he looks at me shocked.

"Why do you get up so early?" Peter asks me and I shrug and head inside.

"There you are, I went to your room and didn't find you, where were you?" Ginny asks me and then sees my wet hair. "You fought Peter." Ginny says shocked. "Who won?" Ginny asks me.

"I did." I say to her with a blank look.

"WHAT?" She yells surprised and I shrug and head up to my room leaving a shocked Ginny behind.

I head inside my room and see the sandwich still there and I sigh. I eat it as I sit at my desk reading the recent news finding most of it on the hero killer.

"Hero, Killer, in Hosu? Isn't that where Ida is for his internship?" I ask myself as I sit back in my chair.

I text Izu that question and get a reply with Yes.

"Is that on purpose? Or coincidence? Because I know his brother was almost killed there by the Hero Killer." I wonder aloud as I do the Izu thinking thing.

"Ray, its almost time for patrol." May says to me outside my door.

I snap out of my thinking and I hum. "Alright." I say and I get up and put my phone inside my coat in a pocket.

I head out and we go on patrol and its quiet.

"Ray, what is your hero name?" Ginny asks me.

"Cascade." I say to her and she nods.

"That's a pretty name and it suits you perfectly." Ginny says to me and I shrug.

Once patrol is over, I head to my room and change into my pajamas and then I get to work on studying for up coming exams.

"Ray, what do you want for dinner?" Ginny asks me.

"Nothing at the moment, I'm studying for upcoming exams." I say to her.

"Ok, the studying special, I'll be back in half an hour." Ginny says and leaves.

"What?" I ask confused and I get up walking tot he door. "What does that even mean?" I ask her as she walks down stairs.

"You'll see!" She calls up and I roll my eyes and go back to studying.

Exactly thirty minutes passes and Ginny walks in with a tray of different snacks along with her books and it looks like Peters books with Peter behind her, listening to his music with normal headphones on.

I just blink before pulling my headphones down and pausing my music.

"The studying special, random American snacks, a kid who is a year older and knows what your doing along with his textbooks, and one confused fourteen year old who will be taking the entrance exam into U.A. in seven months and desperately needs help with her studies." Ginny says to me with a smile and I sweat drop.

"Ok? I didn't ask for this, but ok." I say to her and she nods.

"Good, now let's get started." Ginny says to me as she sits in front of my bed and Peter sits on my bed.

I just continue studying without much problem, until I hit a certain lesson that's snagged me every time.

"Ray, what does this mean?" Ginny asks me as she shows me an Algebra question to which I look at it for the longest time. "Do you know what this means?" Ginny asks nervously.

"Yes, I'm just thinking of the best way to explain it." I say to her and she nods. "Basically, I'm awful at fractions, don't ask me, I suck, ask Peter." I say and she cracks a smile before asking Peter.

I pull my headphones up, needing concentration as I go over what I'm doing.

"DO YOU NEED HELP?" Peter yells next to me and I jump, pulling my headphones down.

"NO, I'M FINE!" I yell back at him as Ginny laughs.

"THEN WHY DO YOU LOOK CONFUSED?" Peter yells at me.

"BECAUSE I AM CONFUSED!" I yell back.

"WHY?" Peter yells back.

"BECUASE I'M ALWAYS CONFUSED!" I yell at him.

"WHY?" Peter yells.

"I DON'T KNOW!" I yell back.

"WHY IS THERE YELLING?" May yells at the door.

"I DON'T KNOW!" Me and Peter yell at her.

"THEN STOP YELLING!" May yells at us and leaves.

"Alright." I say with a small shrug and I sit back in my chair, pulling one leg up next to me as I look back at my books before looking at my phone as it pings.

"Don't you dare pick up that phone." Peter says to me and my phone buzzes with a call.

"Sorry, but I have to answer this." I say to him as I grab my phone and leave the room.

I answer the phone and get met with sobbing. "RAY! ITS LONELY HERE ALL ALONE!" Mom yells on the other line, just sobbing.

"I'm sorry, but me and Izu are doing this for class." I say to her nervously.

"But, but, one of the two of you are usually home!" She cries and I crack a nervous smile.

"Yeah, I know, but we'll be back in a week, and hopefully uninjured, maybe, you know what, I'm just gonna say it, one of us is gonna get injured, most likely Izu." I say and hear absolute sobs on the other end.

"Where are you?" Mom asks me.

"Not with Izu, or Katsuki, or Momo, or anyone else from my class." I say to her.

"Alright, who are you with?" Mom asks me.

"The Mizukage Agency." I say to her.

"And what are you doing?" Mom asks as she calms down.

"Studying, as usual." I say to her through the phone.

"What do you think Izuku is doing?" Mom asks me.

"I dunno, I got a text from him before you called, I haven't looked at it yet though." I say to her with a small shrug.

"I wish one of you were home." Mom cries and I scratch the back of my neck as she rambles about how she misses us.

"Why don't you call Izu, he'll probably need the distraction for a bit." I say to her once she's finished.

"Alright, good night Ray, I love you! Be safe." Mom says to me and I hum.

"Yeah, good night, love you too, do not get into trouble." I say to her and she laughs as I end the call.

I lean back against the wall and I see Izu texted me good night and I realize its around the time he usually tells me good night.

"Yeah, alright." I say and text him good night before I head back into the room.

"Who was that?" Ginny asks me as I sit back down in my chair.

"My adopted mom, both me and my brother are out of the house and she's alone, so she's crying because she misses us and doesn't like being alone." I say to her with a small shrug and she nods surprised. "But to be fair, I was probably gonna call her once I was finished studying. Her and Izu, most likely Izu." I say as I sit back in my chair, running a hand through my hair.

"Izu?" Peter asks.

"Izuku Midoriya, my brother, adopted brother. I basically rip out whoever's throats if they pick on him, like I did to Katsuki for years." I say to him with a shrug.

"Your very protective of him." Ginny says nervously.

I shrug as I look at my books. "Yeah, well, he's a cinnamon roll, I'm not gonna let anyone ruin that." I say to her and she nods.

"Just like us with Adrian then." Ginny says to me and I shrug.
