Ray's POV

I watch the fights up to Katsuki's and Shoto's.

"Ray? Aren't you gonna go join your class?" Riley asks confused as she walks up to me.

I shrug. "I've got a good spot here." I say to her and she nods and continues walking.

I lean against the wall as I watch Shoto and Katsuki as they fight

I watch as Shoto starts to use his flames towards the end, but he stops which to me is curious, but I leave it be.

Then, Shoto loses and Katsuki wins, and Katsuki hates it.

After a little while, all the first years are in the arena, including me.

I just put my hands in my pockets as I stand next Izu, a very bored look on my face while Izu looks like he's concocting a plan.

"Ray, you don't seem amused." Ochako says to me nervously.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm just bored." I say to her and she nods.

"Your not going after anyone's throats?" Izu asks surprised.

"No, do I have a reason to? You broke yourself, Shoto didn't break your bones. Katsuki didn't kill you, I don't see a reason to drown anyone." I say and Izu nearly falls at that, but I hold the back of his shirt so he can stay balanced as he laughs nervously.

"I should be glad your not ripping anyone's throats out." Izu says as he stands up by himself.

I put my hand back in my pocket as All Might jumps down while talking at the same time as Midnight and personally, I'm just ready to go home.

We watch as Katsuki struggles, ready to kill us all as he stands there binded.

I roll my eyes as All Might talks to him and then forces Katsuki to hold the medal in his mouth, and let's just say, I'm close to laughing at the sight while the softies in class look terrified.

The Next Day

I notice Katsuki still with the medal in his mouth as we sit in class.

"Katsuki, should you, really have that in your mouth still?" I ask him and he growls at me. "Ok, my bad." I say to him as I hold my hands up in defense.

Aizawa walks in and announces that we have the next two days off and then school is dismissed.

"Ray, are you gonna walk home with us?" Ochako asks me.

"Sorry Ochako, I have to do something today." I say to her with a nervous smile.

"What would that be?" Ochako asks me and I shake my head.

"I'd rather keep it a secret." I say to her and she nods.

"So, are you going by bullet train?" Ochako asks me and I smile nervously as I sling my bag over my shoulder.

"See you in a few days Ochako." I say to her and I head down to my locker, switching my school shoes with my converses.

I notice Izu and Ochako following me as I head out of school and I sigh.

I stretch as I walk and Katsuki runs at me, my eyes widen for just a moment before I jump and roll out of the way as he goes face first into a pole.

I get up on my feet, completely surprised. "What the hell?" I ask and Katsuki turns around, twitching and clearly pissed. "Uh." I hum as I watch him stalk forward, his medal still in his mouth. I sweat drop as I hold my hands up in a defensive position. "Katsuki, what the fuck is wrong with you?" I ask him.

"You. You haven't attacked me all day, you have picked a fight with anyone either, you didn't even mutter things about Aizawa. So what the hell is wrong with you?" Katsuki asks annoyed as he gets closer and closer to me.

I tap my chin thinking. "I guess I have been quiet today." I say to him and he glares at me. "Well, fuck you." I say to him as I snap my fingers and water falls on him and I head to the train station.

I get on a bullet train heading to Kurashiki, I hold the bar above me as I read the news on my phone, and as expected, I see the Sports Festival and a memory of Mizukage who died 11 years ago today.

Mizukage was in the top three best hero's, as number two, she could manipulate all kinds of water and make it appear out of nowhere. She made a mistake one night and nine months later I was born. She married a drunk that she loved and got killed by him three years after, a gun to her head. I was a coward and ran, I wanted to get help, and I did, but it was too late for Mizukage.

"Ray?"

I nearly jump as I get awoken from my thoughts, I look over and see Shoto.

"Shoto?" I ask confused.

"What are you doing on this train?" Shoto asks me, equally as confused as he stands next to me.

"Heading to Kurashiki." I say to him and he nods surprised.

"Mizukage, your mother, its her anniversary, isn't it?" Shoto asks and I look at him, slightly surprised, but I nod.

"Yeah, I try to visit every year." I say to him and Shoto nods. "You gonna go visit your mother?" I ask him and he nods.

"Your still in your uniform." Shoto reminds me.

"Yeah, my brother and Ochako were being weird, so I couldn't head home, but I've got a spare change of clothes in my bag, so it doesn't matter to me." I say to him and Shoto nods.

The train stops and its Kurashiki, both me and Shoto get off and head different ways.

I head to a bathroom where I change into a black T-shirt, black boot cut jeans and a black jacket. I put on my head phones as I head to the cemetery and I turn on my music.

Once I get there, I see a crowd of people at my mothers grave, including, All Might and Endeavor.

I stay to the back of the crowd and after a little while it disperses but I take notice of All Might and Endeavor staying.

"Miss Midoriya, what are you doing here?" All Might asks me as I pull my headphones down to rest around my neck.

"This is my Mothers grave, I have the right to visit." I say to him and he looks at me in complete shock.

Endeavor leaves after a moment and All Might deflates to his smaller form.

"Your the daughter of a great hero." All Might says to me and I nod.

"I know." I say to him as I stare at the dozens of roses around her grave. "People still love her, even after 11 years, they haven't forgotten about her." I say to him and he nods.

"I'm, sorry for what happened to her, if I had known-"

"There was no way you could have known, Randy was a bastard and abused me to make sure she didn't say anything." I interrupt him and he looks at me in utter shock.

"He what?" All Might asks me shocked.

"It doesn't matter now, he's in jail and will be for life, he won't be getting out and causing more people pain, and if he escapes, I'll throw his ass back in there myself." I say and All Might nods and I bend down in front of Mom's grave, placing her favorite flower, a red chrysanthemum, in the front.

"She would be proud of you if she could see how far you've come." All Might says to me and I nod, holding back a sob. "She was like a little sister to me, but she always acted older, protecting me, even if I didn't need it." All Might says as he watches me tremble slightly.

Tears quietly leak down my face as I listen to him tell me about her, she was incredibly kind, but had the worst language when she was pissed. She stopped so many criminals, saved so many people, she was an inspiration to young hero's.

"Miss Midoriya, are you ok?" All Might asks as he watches me cry.

I shake my head. "I want my mom back, Inko is an amazing mother, but she's, she's not mine." I murmur and he hums, probably unsure of what to say. "I just, I miss her, I want her back, I just, I wish she didn't have to die like that, she would still be here if she didn't marry that drunk." I say as I remember that night, vividly, like it was yesterday.

Flashback

It was raining, thundering, I was terrified as I ran to Mother who was in the living room, she was reading when I hid under her blanket.

"Ray?" Mother asks curious as I cried quietly under her blanket. "Its just a storm." Mother says to me as she lifts the blanket up to see me holding onto her leg, crying. "Aww, darling, its ok." Mother says as she pulls me up to her lap and soothe me until I calm down, then, the door slams open.

"Oi, Ray, get me a beer."

Mother looks worried as she sets me down and gets up.

I follow close behind her until Mother gets slapped and she falls to the ground.

I'm on the verge of tears as she keeps getting up, no matter how many times she gets punched or kicked or slapped.

"Ray, I said get me a beer." Randy orders me and Mother gets up with trouble.

"She's just a child." Mother breaths out and Randy growls.

"She's old enough to understand that I need a beer." Randy slurrs, with a growl and I whimper.

Mother pets my head with a smile and pushes me out of the room gently.

All I hear next is a gun shot and I head back in the room to see Mother on the floor, bleeding, and Randy with a gun, furious.

Tears fall down my face as I look at her, not moving. "Mommy?" I whimper out and Randy growls and kicks me, I scream as I fly back into the wall.

"I said, GET ME A BEER!" Randy yells at me and I sob on the floor.

I get up and run to the kitchen, there's a door to outside here and I run out it.

I run for what seems like forever when I come across a guy with flames on him, eyebrows, beard, his suit.

I tug on him and he looks down at me to see I'm crying.

"What is wrong?" He asks me.

"Mommy, she's, she's dead, Randy killed her." I whimper and he freezes as he looks at me.

"Your Mizukage's daughter." He says as he looks at me. "Come on, I'll take you to the police." He says to me as he takes my hand and I cry all the way there.

"Endeavor, who is this little one?" A guy with Blonde hair asks.

"This is Mizukage's daughter, Mizukage was killed by Randy, I'm going to go check it out." The guy Endeavor says to him and the blonde guy nods and picks me up.

"I'm All Might, what's your name?" The blonde guy asks me.

"Ray, Kage." I whimper, tears still falling down my face.

"Well, its a pleasure to meet you." All Might says to me and I nod.

Flash Back End

I notice All Might left and I just sit there, crying softly with my head bowed.

After a while, I slowly raise to my feet and I wipe my eyes, calming down.

"I love you Mom." I whisper quietly and I head back to the train station and take the bullet train home.

Once I get home, I just head to my room.

"Ray, are you alright?" Izu asks on the other side of my door.

"I'll be fine, I, just need some rest, I'll see you in the morning." I say to him through my door.

I head into my bathroom and I shower, I brush my hair out thoroughly and then I blow dry it, I just leave my hair down as I get out of my bathroom, in my pajamas.

I see Izu waiting on my bed, he looks concerned. "Ray, you went to the cemetery, didn't you?" Izu asks me and I just nod as I sit on my bed.

Izu pets my head as I lay across his lap.

"I saw Endeavor and All Might there today." I murmur and Izu hums.

I end up falling asleep after a while.
