No Candy Required

**Chisaki**

If he was honest with himself he had no idea how his day had taken this type of turn. The day itself had started off normally, everything following as scheduled. From visiting Eri in the morning, running tests after the visit, and going to a meeting in Mustafa. The meeting didn't go as planned which, the owner of the casino 'Golden Sage' had not lived up to its name. The casino was run by disgusting filth of a disease that went by the name Clean Kill. His quirk did not suit his name being as he just called it 'Luck' meaning he could identify the likely hood of winning in nearly anything.

There was also nothing clean about said man. Which brings Chisaki to where he is now, sitting on a small park bench in a park that looked like it suited the smaller lower class neighborhood, removing his bloody gloves and disposing of them with his abominable quirk into the trash can next to the bench. He quickly replaced them, who knows what germs ran amuck. Another thing that didn't go according to the plan was his ride back. Apparently, even a Yakuza boss can have car problems. Another driver was on his way to pick him up but that left him with some time on his hands.

Maybe later he would say it was fate, but of course, he is a man of science so that was unlikely but it doesn't change what happened next.

"Wow, that's a super cool quirk you have!" looking down his eyes meet dark green ones that seem to sparkle with the same enthusiasm that expressed towards his disease.

He quirked his eyebrow at the child "I would have to disagree."

The child looked confused tilting his head and Chisaki takes his time taking in the child's attire seeing as the day was drawing to an end within a few hours and it was odd to find a child alone at this hour. The boy had a curly mess of dark green hair upon his head that complemented his eyes, around his eyes freckles spread across his cheeks still round with baby fat. Though it was concerning seeing as the child was dressed in a onesie pajama of the hero All Might.

Not only did this child found his quirk to be 'super cool' but he seems to also be inflicted with the disease called Superheroes.

"But you just made your glove go poof and totally disintegrate." The boy made the motion with his hands of said gloves going 'poof'.

Looking around Chisaki couldn't see another adult around with insight. He was a Yakuza, not a monster and it concerned him seeing as this child was out alone. So ignoring the child's comment he decided to get to the bottom of it "Where are your parents?"

The kid climbed up onto the park bench next to him and seeing as the kid looked like a small five year old it took him a bit to get onto the bench. When he finally perched himself next to Chisaki his feet didn't even touch the ground. "Mama is having a fight with Dad so she told me to go to my room but I got bored." The child said swinging his legs.

Ah so domestic troubles.

"Ya, Dad came home from his trips far away and started saying mean things." The boy continued before his face turned bright red and waved his hands "Sorry I'm bugging you!"

True the child was becoming somewhat of an annoyance that he would love to be rid of soon but then his eyes caught sight of burns appearing under the sleeves of his pajamas as the child waved his hands about frantically saying something about how he will stop bugging him. Chisaki delicately gripped one the child's arms stopping the movement pulling up his sleeve.

Burns old and new letter the small arms sporadically. Maybe more than domestic troubles. "Where did these come from?"

The boy tried to rip his arm away but Chisaki kept it in his grip "Ah, Kacchan didn't mean to! He just teases sometimes and his quirk is really powerful and flashy!" The boy exclaims but from the number of burns on a single arm not to mention what Chisaki cant see he doubts that it is an accident. It also disgusts him to see the effects of quirks on such a small child.

"Did any of these come from your father?" he had to ask recalling the way the child had talked about his father earlier.

The boy vigorously shook his head "No never!"

Finding that answer to be satisfying enough he removed one of his gloves before using his quirk to speed up the healing process of the numerous scars. The boy's wide eyes got unbelievably wider watching his skin return to its natural state before the burns. "That's amazing!" he dropped the boy's hand disgusted with himself and the display of his quirk even if it was to help the child.

"You seem to like quirks a whole lot don't you?"

"Yes they are so cool and I really want to be a Superhero like All Might when I get older!" The boy exclaimed.

"And what might your quirk be?" He couldn't keep his stomach from turning from using that putrid word.

The boy looked down, all his energy and positive enthusiasm seemed to disappear from his face. Tears gathered around the edges of his big eyes "I-I don't have a quirk."

Time seemed to slow for Chisaki as he looked at the child in surprise, he had never met someone blessed free from the disease plaguing the world "Your quirkless?" he asked just to clarify.

The boy nodded in response. Now the scars on the child make sense, he probably was suffering from some sort of bully at school. Bullied by people who don't realize they are blessed to be able to be anywhere near someone so pure. "Is that what your parents were fighting about?"

With a surprised look on his small face, he glanced up at Chisaki and then nodded again "Ya, Dad doesn't understand why I am quirkless." he admitted. It wasn't really a surprise after all over 80% of the population are diseased that when you are blessed with a minority they avoid it like the plague. How much will this child suffer in his life for being above everyone else?

"What's your name boy?" He asked softly.

"Um Midoriya Izuku, but my friends call me Deku. What's your name?"

He wanted to seeth for this poor thing, given a nickname that didn't suit him at all "I am Chisaki, and my dear Midoriya you are not useless. They do not understand that you are greater than them."

"What do you mean greater? I can't do anything they can, even my mama doesn't think I can be a hero."

"What if I told you that you can be a hero without a quirk, I have a little girl named Eri at home that I think would love to meet you." He thought about how he could protect this pure angel from the stained filth world and how with both little Izuku and Eri he may get closer to curing this world.

"I can be a hero?"

As if hearing a queue one of his cars pull up to the side of the road, "Would you let me show you how?" he stands to dust off the unseen germs from his clothing before offering a hand to the little one. A small hand hesitantly grab onto his hands feeling so delicate that he felt honored to even be able to touch such an angel. He offers a small genuine smile before leading him to his car. This certainly was a better ending to his day than what his schedule had planned.
