Izuku point of view

Bal was not happy I don't know why he seemed fine when he left maybe a little tense and nervous but nothing like this what the hell happened when he was gone and why is he so angry?

Nimona: sure, what is it boss? What's the matter?

He then pulls out a piece of old paper scroll on it is an image of a giant monster breathing fire down on a village and in that picture in the centre of the beast there's a little girl with pink hair similar to Nimona no not just similar exactly like her well when she was saving that little girl when she tried to get closer to her she transformed into another young girl similar age is that... No it can't be.

Bal: is this you?

Nimona shocked: where did you get that?

He repeated the question this time more aggressive: is this you?!

I have to get in between the two before anything kicks off: hey hey let's calm down where did you get that bal? Who gave it to you?

Bal: that doesn't matter you see this right it's her destroying a city

I tried coming up with a joke to ease the mood : well technically that a village

The joke did not go over well bal just glared at me though my Shapeshift a friend did chuckle just a bit, but when immediately back to angry: look I get that this seems bad but come on we've got to at least hear her out let's hear her side of the story for you and I know this could be taken completely out of context

Bal: listen to her side of story so what she can lie about it izuku don't you get it? If this is her she's been lying to us from the very start!

Nimona: oh and I'm the only one that's lied to you... Think about all we've done together what we've discovered

Bal: I am thinking about it thinking about all we've done kidnapping, attacking the Institute twice! And manipulating people!

This is getting too far heated twice even wakes up from all the yelling I signal for him to get out and call the others just in case he knows and sneaks out while we two are distracted this could get out of hand very quickly : bal come on Nimona can be intimidating and... Sound blood thirsty at times but she's not a bad person if even if this is her I'm not completely convinced that it's legit. I think half the story is missing and it's just one picture. Also we have no idea what up to this for we know we know the village could've attacked her first work this attack might've just been an accident look there are two sides to every story and it's abundantly clear that Nimona side has been covered up and told lies about come on you know her she's a good person she tried to help you.

Bal disagree with that statement: no she rescued me so that everyone else would hate me so that she wouldn't be alone she's a mon-

Oh no, please tell me he wasn't gonna say it, Nimona: i'm what?!

bal: you know what you are

Nimona: no I Wanna hear you say that I'm a what?

This is getting nowhere fast these two are heating up and it looks like they're ready to explode and there's nothing I can do calm down the situation but have still got to try: come on guys row friends here this just calm do-

Nimona pushes me to one side as she goes larger and your eyes start glowing red: what I!?

bal flinches and that's when we both see it his sword he went back to get it and it was out of its sheath well only slightly but the implication was clear he saw her as a threat she backed down horrified by what just happened and to make matters even worse lights from the outside beam into the hideout they nowhere here we need to get out

that was mine and nimona first instinct as we ran through a window escaping into the forest leaving bal behind I don't know if he was responsible for this with a he led them to the door but either way it's clear how he feels about us now he doesn't trust us any more so how can we trust him

narrator's point of view

shape shifter and the leader of the pack were running as far away from the pursuers as possible running through the forest and eventually through a crack in the wall allowing them to crawl through an escape they continued running izuku mostly because he was following his shape shifter friend wondering where she was going until they finally stopped at an old well

 she stopped and just stared at it still in her wolf form until she transformed back into her usual form as you look at the well the memories of the past are flooded into her mind the good and the bad

in the bad memories came along she remembered how the village people saw her how scared they were she didn't understand why she wasn't hurting anyone she was just... Different she remembered the feeling of getting poked and prodded by their farming tools how southern states throwing fire at her she remembered how she reacted when someone tried to stab her in the back how she flinched and because someone else to drop their torch starting the fire she didn't want to hurt anyone was all just an accident started by people who couldn't accept something they didn't understand

to make matters even worse the one person she trusted the one person she thought was her friend raised the sword to her admittedly it was a wooden sword and probably wasn't going to her but the implication was clear on what she said broke the young version of herself heart "go back to the shadows to whence you came"

it was a phrase commonly used now by the people inside the wall used as a warcry to rally people up against  anything that was different but to nimona felt like hearing it all over again from her friend or someone she thought was a friend it hurt every time because it wasn't just about what it implied it was about what it reminded her of first time she felt rejected by the world and every time she heard it just got worse

izuku spoke up: nimona are you okay

there was silence and the wind blew in the night trees as the leaves rustled which only intensify the atmosphere the shape shifter didn't even turn around as she answered:...they hate me no matter what I say or what I do for any of them the always hate me for what... Just because I can transform! Just because I'm different to them why why do they hate me I didn't ask to do the things I can do!

izuku: I know no one can help how they are born it's not your fault it's just people fear what they don't understand and that fear eventually turns to hate

nimona turned around with tears in her eyes: but you understand! You know what it's like and you you look as human as anyone else yet you accept people like me and stitch and loona without so much of a second thought don't judge us the way we look up how how do you do it how do you not be afraid of something different to you?

izuku took a deep breath: because like I said I know what it's like to be different and I know what it's like to feel as if the world is against you to be criticised and aided for something that was completely out of your control

the shape shifter drawing closer to the green haired young man: how, how do you deal with that feeling emotions come with it how you not this one abroad everything down!

izuku: truthfully sometimes I do with doing that wouldn't make any difference, it would only stoke the fear that they have towards me and would only make things worse it's a never-ending chain and the only way it's gonna break is of someone just says to stop s with the hate and the violence to stop hurting creatures there are two magnificent for us to even understand that all it really takes to make the world a better place more accepting place is for one person just to say no more the problem is finding or being that person takes a lot of strength and even after they say no more still a long way to go, the battle for equality is a marathon not a sprint it can be fixed all in one night

nimona lets out a sad laugh: try it for over a thousand years... Thousand years and nothing changes it's just more hate for something I didn't even do I thought after this what we went through with the boss and finding you guys the rest of the pack I thought maybe just maybe things will finally gonna get different but I was wrong it never heads they be... Maybe would be better if I just didn't exist

izuku eyes widened he knew what she meant: no that is not the answer! You can't just give up

nimona completely given up hope: what's the point there are always gonna fear me always going to hate me and reject me

izuku: so what if they do that doesn't change the fact that I accept you

the shape shifters eyes widened as she looked at the green haired young man he had a look of determination he was serious and she believed him: the rest of the world hates me if you stand by me though hate you to

izuku: so what even if everyone else in the world just she doesn't change the fact that I accept you for who you are and I like you for who you are I like the crazy metal loving shape shifter friend that I've made here you are absolutely incredible in every way! I wouldn't ask you to change who you are

 nimona felt her heart flutter for just a moment the sadness of betrayal faded away she drew closer to her friend the two of them looked at each other's eyes slowly closing her on as their heads drew closer to each other they knew where this was going nothing was going to stop them as the lips drew closer to one another

Until izuku danger signs went off he opened his eyes quickly saw a green beam of energy coming from the sky heading straight for them upon instantly pushed the shape shifter away from him: nimona!!

The shape shifters eyes open only for a moment for she was shoved away to the ground she didn't understand what was going on, she opened her eyes: what are you doi-

she stopped talking when she saw izuku fall to the ground with the same energy surrounding him that killed the Queen the one person that exhibitor was on for now not breathing she couldn't react she couldn't think straight understand how this happened but she knew who did it the director she kills izuku the one person that accepted her and loved her and he was taken from her filled her with rage

she got up from the ground and looked at izuku was lying there on the floor not breathing: I thought I could do you know everything seem so possible with you by my side

calmness quickly faded away as she clenched her fist enveloped by her rage: but it's too late now you're gone submission mark I'm on my own now! This world has rejected me!!!!!

Her rage her rejection her pain it came back 10 times worse now as she looked at the statue in front of the Institute it only increased even more she began to hear the words that people would call her a monster freak how she didn't deserve to live and the happy memories she shared with izuku was there but now that he was gone those memories were only fuelling her rage

the rage kept building up in her as her once pink energy that surrounded her suddenly darkened that surrounded her as it started to eat upper body she finally let out a scream of agony but not of pain but of revenge before the energy completely engulfed her

Back at the pack everything was relatively calm everyone was getting on with their work damming up with boards checking to make sure there were no other anomalies everything was peaceful after the little celebration they had

eve having a daily checkup to make sure her nano bots were working properly sat across from the hell hound of the group: izuku still not back yet should we be worried?

loona: not really knowing him he's probably already in the shape shift as paints... Probably having the time of his life

Eve chuckled she forgot how straightforward loona could be: yeah I guess you're right and you're okay with him... You know with others

loona shrugged: it doesn't bother me too much truth be told in how a relationship like that is pretty much the day-to-day I mean look at the v's one guys dating both his co-workers but the co-workers are daily each other and really see a problem and so long as the other girl don't see a problem with it and see why it should be a problem and don't think I don't know about the special treatment you gave him in the shower that one time

eve: you got me I guess it really matter that much honestly and last the ability to care about what people think a long time ago also the concept of normality is, gone out the window here job might as well just go with the flow

the two girls laughed at that because they agreed the concept of normality for both of them had just pretty much gone out the window the second they met izuku and at this point they were completely fine with it were just rolling with the punches going through the motions whatever help them get through the day 

the two girls then  left the hospital side of the den and bumped into  Miles who was in his school uniform: hey miles gonna go to school already

miles: yeah unfortunately, got a Spanish test and my mum would lose it if I start failing Spanish

loona: all right but stay safe and what you back all for one and the swarm are still out there is no telling what they'll do

the young boy nodded as he walked away relative go back to his normal life, then the deku of 2499 showed up with Bagley who was still in the robot body of robot showed up

Bagley: I'm afraid we have a problem and it looks pretty severe

eve: at this point Bagley I don't think there's anything this team can do

2499: well you say that but... Well take a look
