alright, so this is the chapter that's gonna start off them going off on a mission to rescue the Titans

Narrators point of view

After locking up the joker from their own world, the new members of the insurgency and the pack returned to the insurgency base deep underground it was mostly because they needed to stay low, especially since the duplicate Batman had already been captured and most likely Superman of this universe knew about the pack as well as the Justice League duplicates

Either way they had other things to worry about the plan had already been compromised and with Brightburn and his mysterious new friend working with the regime things just got a lot harder

But thankfully, the heroes or rather the Deku 2499 had to plan on how to get more reinforcements, they were back in the insurgency base sitting at the table when discussing it

Insurgent Batman : what is your plan to rescue the Titans from the Phantom

Green arrow: assuming that they're even there?

2499: well I've been doing a bit of research into the phantom zone projector

Miles : and you've been doing that because

2499: well if you haven't noticed our... Holding facilities have been getting rather filled up with criminals that we can't send back to their world or their world isn't capable of holding them

The pack members nodded. They knew who he meant Homelander was a prime example his world couldn't hold someone like him and the pack he couldn't hold him forever they knew that much, but they also couldn't just let him go or send him to another world so that he would become their problem

Eve: he's got a point... We are kind of pushing it in our prison department. Moxie and Millie are barely keeping up with the amount of people were locking up

Green Lantern: hold on you're locking people up without trial that's illegal

Izuku: we're not locking them up forever we're just holding them until their world can well build a place that can hold them... But 2499 is right there are a few there that we can't hold for long and their world can't build a place capable of holding them either

Miles: yeah and no offense and this is completely our character of me but in terms of homeland crimes... Would they even need to be a trial? I mean the stuff he's done... hell there's probably tons we can't even trace back to him

Twice: isn't that kind of the point though shouldn't there be a trial to give peace to his victims... Or the families of them? I know this is hypocritical coming from me and I might have my own agenda saying this, but do we really have the right to just send someone away without a proper trial... I mean what does it say about what's gonna happen to me when this is over? I mean I know I gotta pay for my crimes but I was hoping that I would get a little bit of leeway given what I've been doing.

Wonder woman didn't really know the exact details but she agreed with twice: I agree you shouldn't lock someone up without trial or do process

Eve: yeah and can we talk about this rehabilitation? I mean you gave twice a second chance why can't we give some of the other villains? We've got locked up a second chance I mean yeah... Homelander bad example but what about that guy A train

Izuku explained: another world version of the flash speedster he ran through three people on separate occasions while being higher on a drug that makes their superpowers stronger

Spider Noir: yeah I'm from what I heard he's guilty of a couple of other crimes too... But are we really willing to give that guy a second chance?

Eve: okay look I know that I wasn't around when a train and Homelander were locked up and I've only heard about what they've done but I mean twice he was a bad guy he was working with the Demon Lords student that we're fighting against and he's turned out pretty good. Shouldn't we at least try... A train Some messed up stuff but I don't think that makes a bad person necessarily

The leader of the pack thought about it he could see both perspectives they were running out of space in the prison and he didn't feel right to him to just lock people up without a trial especially after coming here he knew what would happen if he kept abusing the power that he had

Izuku: these are all valid points. We shall discuss them later right now. 2499 continue.

2499: right? So as I was saying, I have been examining the possibility of using a phantom zone projector or something similar to that for our prison problem and I believe that in my research, I've come to a solution on how we could rescue the Titans

Then tapped on the wrist of his suit and a holographic projection appeared in front of him showing a crew design of a phantom projector

The man of the future continued: you see the Phantom zone is essentially just a small bleed a pocket dimension that's connected to this one... Where there is a phantom projector there is a phantom zone and it's a different phantom zone depending on which dimension you are in

Green arrow: very educational future boy but how does that help us?

2499: well I have theorise that if we can get our hands on a phantom projector of any dimension we could reprogram it to open up a phantom zone portal into this world Phantom zone and then we can rescue the Titans

The heroes looked at each other. It sounded like a good plan in theory. There was just one problem.

Insurgent Batman: you're sure about this

2499: the data is all there and it is possible... However I will need some help back at the den perhaps OG or jumper can help along with his experiments

Izuku: it sounds good 2499 but don't you think it might be a bit of a risk? The last thing we want is to accidentally open a portal to prison filled with the universe's worst criminals

Spider Noir: yeah and where would we even get one of these phantom zone thingies anyway?

Aqua man: I don't think the Superman of this universe would lend us his

Wonder woman: and it would be a bit of a risk if we were asked our own Superman

2499: there's no need to worry I've already thought ahead of that. I have found a world where humans have almost been extinct and now animal human mutants rule the world in a post apocalyptic world

Green arrow: and that's supposed to help us because...

2499: because the phantom zone projector in that universe is in the Fortress of solitude and it still works given the energy sources I've seen from that universe and there's no superman and the security of the fortress has been deactivated for years

Miles: oh I get it what are you saying? Is we go to this apocalyptic world? Stop by the Fortress of latitude pick up the Phantom zone and then we take it back to the den. He reprogrammed it to open up a portal in this dimension. we rescue the Titans and we continue our fight against the regime

The idea brought a smile to everyone's face. It was a brilliant idea getting a phantom zone that wasn't being used and reprogramming it to open here would be an ideal way to rescue the Titans without Superman even knowing.

However izuku had a better idea: why should we stop there?

2499 along with everyone else looked at him confused: what do you mean?

Izuku: Batman, you said that your weapon to start Superman was in the Batcave right

Insurgent to Batman nodded as the young hero continued his explanation: well how much do you wanna bet that that world universe is Batman probably has the same weapon with the same security protocols?

The interdimensional Justice League's face is lit up as they understood what he meant

Wonder woman: I see so you're not just suggesting that we take the Phantom zone projector of that world but also the kryptonite weapon

Izuku: it would make sense if it's got the same security protocols. All we need is your DNA and it would definitely cut back on the risk of being discovered. Superman would have no idea that we had this weapon and we rescue the Titans. It's two birds one stone.

Insurgent Batman: it's a good idea in theory but like you said in that world it's apocalyptic. How do we know that the weapon will be working?

Izuku: we don't but if worse comes to worse, we could still use the kryptonite that probably wouldn't have faded away what do you guys think?

Green arrow: I like this plan

Eve: boss is right we can't pass up on an opportunity like this and maybe while we're at the Fortress of solitude we can "borrow" some other stuff that could be useful

Green lantern: it's a good plan

Twice: I'm cool with whatever... No I'm not sorry I'm... I agree

Wonder woman: I'm in agreement

Miles/spider noir I'm on board

2499: a shame me that I didn't think of that earlier but I agree with the boss if the kryptonite weapon does exist in that wealth we should take it it would minimise the risk to us

Everyone turned into insurgent Batman: it's not a bad plan. There's just one problem. I know that you guys can hop to other dimensions but how would we get to the Fortress Like you said the world apocalyptic could we even survive across it?

2499: we could with a little bit of help... I've already gotten in contact with some of our other members that are free now they'll meet us there they should make the journey a lot easier

Insurgent Batman nodded: alright and then I suppose I agree

Izuku: right 2499 contact strange we're gonna need a portal let's stop by the den first and tell the others what we're planning on doing

2499: agreed but I also don't think all of us should go in case something drastic happens here I think some of us should remain here to keep an eye out

Izuku nod: agreed eve twice you might sitting this one out and waiting here

Twice, :you mean we won't have to go across a blistering dangerous apocalyptic world... Let me think about that yeah no I'm staying here

Eve: don't mind him I agree we're probably the best choices to stay around in case Superman decides... Do whatever dictators do I guess

Izuku: alright then let's go rescue the Titans
