Izuku's point of view

So we managed to escape, Whilst kidnapping the Squire, but unfortunately, because of all the arrows lodged into this vehicle The engine broke down, and we were forced to make an emergency landing in a darkened alleyway

The minute we land all the doors of the car fall off, and Nimona jumps out for a stretch: oh! Yep, I like it we're going to shake this dude down in this shady back of town

I climb out of the car as well with stitch on my shoulders: you know it wouldn't kill you did not sound so shady. I mean I get that you have this whole vibe going but could you please just-

The young hero stopped talking as he noticed something that was out of place there was an arrow lodged in Nimona knee

He pointed it out to her: there's an arrow in your leg

Nimona finally noticing it, but didn't react: oh

Izuku pointing it out again, this time with more energy: there is an arrow in your leg!!! Okay, you've got a sit down

Nimona: what? No it's it's no big thing.

Izuku encouraging basically pushing her to take a seat: no, it could get infected barrister well, I help her try and see if you can get the car running again. It's unlikely, but having a vehicle would make things a little easier

He nodded: right good idea I'll see what I can do

Nimona he's still fighting me, but I finally get to sit down so I can have a look at home and it's not in the deep but it could still get infected. It's best if I remove the arrow gently as to not snap it because otherwise it won't be bandaged properly

I gently grab hold of the arrow, but before I pull it out, I let her know: okay, I'm gonna pull it out on three ready...one...two...three!

I pull out the arrow fully expecting her to scream, but to my surprise, she just looks at me, surprised at my reaction, I quickly come to as I throw away the arrow: most people scream at that point

Nimona gives me the simplest answer I've ever heard: i'm not people

I guess that's right, but even stitch would at least be let out a yelp. If I had to do that to him then again, he screams in terror when I have to take him to the bath so he's probably not the best example.

Still, I'm surprised that she didn't even flinch: does it hurt at all?

Oh yeah, I forgot about those ones: it's nothing really, just comes part of the job that I decided to take up

Nimona: I guess so... Actually, now I think about it. What exactly do you do I mean are you a police officer or like a bounty hunter or something? I don't understand you because you have a good nature, but you're also willing to do questionable things that a good person wouldn't do, so what are you exactly?

That's a good question, one that I still don't know how to answer. I know that I'm not a hero at least not right now since I'm going to kill all for one and heroes don't kill but I don't know what else to call myself. I say I'm a resistance leader, but I don't know if that covers everything

I give her the simplest answer I can: i'm just a person trying to do right in the world it just seems to wanna vote for the wrong... I'll still treat the wound

Pulling out some first-aid equipment from my utility belt, which the girls insisted I have after the devastating injuries I received back in the invincible universe. I begin patching my Shapeshifter friend up.

Nimona: you're pretty good at this The first-aid stuff I mean

A chuckle escapes my lips: well, my mum is a nurse she wouldn't let me out of the house unless I knew first aid

Nimona: I guess that makes sense... I know, I've already said this, but I had my doubts about you, but honestly you seem like a genuinely good person but you might actually be the nicest person I've ever met

I just finished up, treating her wound: i'll take that as a compliment thank you

Nimona: no, I'm serious, most people when they saw me Shapeshift would freak out and start screaming. Hell even the boss did that the first time he saw but you you didn't even bat an eyelash you didn't care you just saw... Me you didn't see a monster you saw... Just me

Well, yeah, even if she isn't like the people in my world, that doesn't necessarily mean she's at the bad person: well, like I said, I'm a very open minded person... But speaking of which about your Shapeshifting ability does it like hurts when you do it? Oh I'm sorry is there a small minded question

She chuckles a bit: no it's not actually it's a nice one... To tell you the truth I would feel worse if I didn't do it

I'm surprised by her answer: really?

Nimona nod: yeah it's so satisfying it's... You know that moment just before you sneeze, it's like that then I shift and then I'm free

I nodded in understanding: I get it, you Gotta be true to yourself right if you weren't doing it, then you wouldn't be living, am I right?

She chuckles, she jumps up and jumps over my head and start stretching: you got it... By the way about that question, you asked me earlier about... Killing someone, don't take this the wrong I still see you as a genuinely nice person, but it's just that seems so out of character for someone like you. Are you really planning on...killing someone

I look down slightly saddened and ashamed as a nod: yeah, I am don't get me wrong I don't want to do it but I just feel like I don't have a choice The person I'm talking about and the people he works with are... And I know you don't like this word, but they are true monsters

She looks at me shocked, but then she let me explain: Nimona I know that you're not a bad person, because, despite how you act, despite how you talk, you have a good heart, I know that and you have a soul, the people I'm talking about, they don't have a soul...

All for one, Alistair, Brightburn, the dark Knight and nomu all of those monsters memories are pestering me as I remember every bad thing they've ever done, or the things I only know about and I remember the first time I saw them each of them I remember how I saw no soul behind any of their eyes. No compassion, no humanity, just madness and evil

And that's why they need to die. Trust me. I thought about this a lot. I'm not a fan of the idea of killing a kid but what the hell can I do after the things they've done they would get The death sentence anyway, so does it really matter If I'm the one who kills them, that's the dilemma I've been living with every since the Invincibles universe

If I do kill them, would that make me know better than them but if I don't kill them they could escape and hurt more people. I just don't know what to do.

Nimona snaps me out of my thoughts by snapping her fingers in front of my face: A greeny you in there

I shake off my interest, ensure crisis of my own rarities: yeah I'm sorry I was just deep in thought so what do you think? Should I say with killing them if you want proof that's the reason why I'd come to this conclusion I can tell you what they've done

Nimona: no now, have a guy like you saying that they need to die. I agree i've been around where you're coming from thinking that some times the world will be better off without certain "people" in it even after all this time, I still don't have an answer what I can say is if you think they deserve to die and you think you'll be doing the world a service then do it. If you're wrong, then you're wrong just don't let it consume you seriously izuku I think the world would be a much better place, if more people would like you, don't lose yourself to the act of violence. I know that sounds hypocritical coming from me, but it's what I think.

She's right I know she is what I have to do is the right decision it's not the decision I want but this decision that needs to be made all for one, and some members of the swarm must be eliminated and the world no, the Multiverse would be a better place without them

With my mind is made up, I feel as if a little bit of a burden has been lifted from my shoulders only a small one, but it's good enough for me: thank you Nimona I now know what I must do

Nimona smiled in a cute kind of way: you're welcome and here if you need any help taking down these... "True monsters" let me know I would love to make them permanent members of the one arm club

I chuckled a little bit: now, despite your daughter that interests, you can be pretty cute

I realise what I say, and I immediately start blushing so does: you think I'm cute?

How is it that no matter how many times I got with a girl I have always still have trouble talking to them: yeah... You are cute in your own unique and metal way

She gives me a nervous smile as she punches me playfully on the arm: you dork... Thanks

I nervously smiled back at her, but our moment was interrupted by the sounds of the Squire, banging against the hood of the boot. He woke up, and he would like to be let out.

The three of us opened the boot to the squealing Squire. I did have to stop Nimona from threatening to stab and slap the poor guy But he wasn't talking, apparently, he was too scared to tell us he wanted to help, but he feared for his life more

(yeah, I change that part of the story so that I could do this)

Ballister stepping away for a moment: if it's too afraid to talk, how we know who is behind this we need to find a way to get him to talk

Nimona Open her mouth, presumably to give out one of her own comments, but the framed Queen killer's doctor: we're not going to talk to him, stop him or slap him. We need to get him to talk without resorting to violence

That might take a while, and the time is something we do not have. We need to stop The anomaly from becoming king otherwise he'll be untouchable, and who knows what he'll do to this reality we need to be quick about this

I turn to stitch: Stitch we're gonna need someone to get him to talk

Stitch coming up with suggestion: verosika mayday?

Oh... It's not a terrible suggestion, but we wanted to talk quickly and in order for verosika to Work and magic I think she's at least gonna need I'd say an hour maybe 30 minutes but we don't have that kind of time plus I don't think she'd be interested "in doing it" in a back alleyway or any of her gang

I nod: what about suggestions stitch but we're gonna need someone who can get him to talk quickly without resorting to pain... I was thinking, maybe we could use one of your cousins again... Do you know anyone that could possibly help us in this situation?

Stich placed his claw on his chin, tapping it as he placed into his thinking pose. He then snapped his fingers as he came up with someone: One moment please

He then disappears around the side, presumably to go and use the teleporter to go and grab one of his cousins

I turned to the other two: he's going to get someone that can help us

Ballister: Who? verosika mayday? Whoever she is

I shake my head: no, not her he's getting one of his cousins that he thinks could help get the square to talk without resorting to torture or intimidation

Nimona still confused: okay, but who's verosika mayday?

I rub the back of my head: she's our new special intelligence collector... She collect information from hard to crack individuals

Nimona miss reading what I meant: oh, you mean she's a torture nice

I shook my hands in a defensive manner: no, no, she's not a torturer... well, I guess that actually depends on your classification of torture... Sheila get people to talk when they're in their bedside manner

The two of them look at me confused, and there was a long silence between the three of us until Ballister widened in realisation: oh...oh! You mean she?

I don't need him to finish the sentence know where this is going: yeah

I nod: as far as I know... She's very good, apparently her and the rest of her gang currently people are very chatty after a night with just one of them or in some cases two I don't really like to think about it, but it's better than torturing someone for information at worse they'll probably leave with an STD

Nimona still lost: hey, what are you two talking about?

We are both super embarrassed, and the fact that we have to explain this, but Falls on his sword and whispers everything into her ear

When he's done I could practically see her entire body light up with red, but she's not transforming: wow... That's just wow

Once again, the awkward silence settles in like it never left. It's a welcome relief from the recent conversation. It's only cut through when stitch arrives with his cousin that can help us. We guide them to the Squire who is still locked in the trunk as we open it up.

Before we let the experiment do their thing, we decide to give the square one last time to talk: is your last chance talk? Otherwise this will start to get uncomfortable.

Squire seemed genuinely apologetic, but still refused: i'm sorry I really am but I have to keep my mouth shut. Nothing you do will make me talk. I really am sorry though

Ballister: alright, then we gave you a chance... It's time to work your magic

The Squier shrieked as a looming shadow loomed over him, as wild arms began closing in: no wait, please do that I beg of you! No! Nnnnnoooooooo!

Five minutes later

The sounds of the Squire, begging for Mercy, fill the alleyway as we all watch from from the sidelines as he begs for it to stop, although it's hard to tell if he's upset because he's laughing his head off

Squire: ha ha ha ha ha ha please stop ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha please stop I'm going to pee!!!!

What did you think we were actually going to torture him know we brought in the tickle monster

One of stitches cousins primary function is to tickle people into submission and seems that she's working her magic stitch made the right call bringing her along

Ballister: so this cousin of stitches just tickles people that's it... Not really much of an evil creation, right?

I do have to agree: well, to tell you the truth, the "evil scientist" that created them, I don't think he's evil I think he's just eccentric. He wanted something even more interesting. He created all of his experiments to impress a girl.

Nimona:wow that's one way to make an impression to create life

I rub the back of my head I made it is impressive: yeah unfortunately it didn't work well actually it's a good thing. It didn't work. That woman was apparently super evil... Like evil evil at least that's what stitch and the others told me that are you ready to talk yet or should we leave you alone with the tickle monster?

The Squire finally giving in: OK, I'll talk ha ha ha ha ha ha I'll talk just ha ha ha ha ha ha please get her to stop ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha my stomach hurts!! ha ha ha ha ha ha

After he finally breaks, he shows us a video of him trying out the armour and after an embarrassing couple of seconds he just fast forward it to true culprit and to everyone surprise it's the director the one in charge of training the next generation of heroes so it wasn't the normally responsible or at least not directly anyway he might just be taking advantage of the situation he found himself in but it doesn't matter. We've got the proof we found his innocence.

Nimona scares off the Squire: hey where are you going? This is great. We have your proof your innocent. We just need to upload the video an-

Ballister interrupted her: we're not uploading it

The two of us were shocked. This is the evidence we need to clear his name once everyone sees that video his name will be cleared. He won't be a fugitive anymore and he doesn't wanna upload it.

Nimona: what? Why that video proves everything that everything is a lie the Institute the wall it all needs to be shut down.

I kind of agree with her: I don't completely agree with what she's saying but she makes sense if we upload the video everyone will see it and your name will be cleared isn't that what you wanted?

Ballister: it is but if we show this it will destroy peoples confidence in the Institute. How things are the way of our life?

Yes, but I don't think that's a bad thing to some extent: okay so what are you going to do? Live with the lie that you are a killer state constantly on the run being accused of a crime you know you didn't commit

Ballister: no I'm taking this to Ambrosius

Nimona: who-

Ballister:Ambros-

Nimona finishing her sentence: cares!

He Continues to walk away with his hood up as we follow him Nimona remind him about the lovers spat: this is the same guy who chopped off your arm... Arm chopping is not a love language!

I Agree with her: she has a point, right now he thinks you killed the queen and just showing up at the doorstep probably isn't the best idea at the very least can't we make a copy of the video just in case... Look I get that you want to trust your friends, especially your loved ones but this just feels reckless like we're counting all our chickens before they hatch

Ballister: is not reckless it's trust I did not chop off my arm he disarmed a weapon

He turned towards the statue of that woman in the distance. I still don't know who she is but apparently she was really important.: how we were trained

Nimona: wow they brainwashed you big time... Don't you get it? This causes you to question everything? The Institute the wall all mean what's all four

Ballister argued: to protect us!

Nimona: from what villains like you or monsters... Like me and from what Izuku and stitch has told us there's another kingdom out there one that doesn't have a wall surrounding the entire city one where people get along so called "monsters" where they walk side-by-side with barely any problems

I do have to interject : well I wouldn't say with no problems but we get along... Look Ballister I get that you want to trust him and I'll follow you regardless of what you choose. I'm just saying can we be careful and think logically about this? Like what if you didn't know Ambrosius what would be the most logical move if you didn't

Ballister: I would still show it to the Institute they're all good people in there they listen to reason please trust me once I show this to him. Everything will be all right... For the four of us I promise

He's gonna go through with it, regardless of what me or Nimona tell him and we certainly can't let him go alone. I've still got a mission. I need to complete anyway and there's a chance that the target will be at the Institute and if this does go well, I might be able to get the director to tell me where he is. It's worth a shot at least a besides I don't want to have to break him out of jail again.
