It had been a total of four hours since the end of the swarms invasion, and the death count had gone over 2000 and was still going up heroes, civilians, and some villains were caught up in the battle between the pack, and the swarm. As far as the public knew it was a group of lunatics with great power that went on a killing spray and caught the government along with the heroes offguard, along with the threat of blowing up hospitals and schools, the heroes were unable to plan a proper attack. The government thought it was best to keep the fact that it was an invasion from another universe out of the media and for the most part it worked

However, there was a downside after that attack. Many heroes threw in the cape literally they couldn't handle the idea of going out again after something like that because it occurred to them that this wasn't an invasion. It was just a test run, and they nearly destroyed the entire world. Cecil wasn't sure what to do he had never faced something like that before they were heroes that called in the towel before after something tragic, but something like this he wasn't prepared for he could deal with war, mongering villains and scientists, but the swarm they did all of that for a game it an invasion it wasn't a grand plan. It was just a game to them for entertainment.

The worst part about it was the person actually responsible for stopping the attack wasn't even from the universe. It was a 16-year-old boy that was currently in critical condition and unconscious. Seesaw had offered the pack proper medical attention but they refused. Apparently according to 24,99, that medical technology was far superior to that of the United States government which seal took as a bit of an insult, but decided not to go against it the last thing he wanted was to piss off some sort of interdimensional police force

He was more worried about Mark. He was the best hope against the empires incurring invasion and he was doing a lot better. Thanks to Dr strange his magic heal to Mark when he first fought against the devastator. He thought it was just going to be fighting a random rampaging monster, but when the monster started talking like a person, that's when he realised that the creature had above average intelligence far beyond that of a rampaging monster in fact, the devastator calculated every single one of his attacks everything he did was calculated. Mark barely managed to get a few hits in, and when he did, he actually hurt his own hands thanks to the spikes on the creature

Mark was finally able to walk as he walked with Cecil down the corridor of the secret hospital that was being used: I just don't get it. I hit that guy as hard as I possibly could and I just ended up hurting myself and he shrugged it off like it was nothing. He then started talking about a friend of his Called Clark apparently was a superhero, but then went crazy... I do not know what he was saying for the most part he was smashing my head in. It was like I was a toy to him. He could've killed me, but then that guy with the shadow

The leader of the task force corrected him: he goes by shadow burn or... That's what the others call him. It's hard to say, if he's a willing prostitute spent in all of this. According to what the dog girl said.

Mark couldn't believe that there was actually just heard that: okay, whatever he told the guy to spare me, so they could use me as leverage in case, one of their teams got captured. I guess I was a backup plan case things didn't go that way. Did we actually catch any of them?

Cecil: we can close, but then that guy dropped you off, and we had no choice, but to agree. Don't beat yourself up kid these guys weren't like the lizard league they knew what they were doing, the bluff about the bombs, the members switching attacks. This was all strategised with incredible detail

Behind them was walking both some Samantha and her alter ego eve along with twice following behind Rex was there too, but with a broken nose: you have no idea

Both of them turned around, and Mark had to do a doublecheck, because he was seeing double : okay did did I get hit on the head too many times cause I'm seeing two Eve

Samantha (this universe version of Eve ): you're not hallucinating this is another version of me from another reality, she works with the pack. The guy behind her appears to be her new best friend

Rex: yeah, a complete psycho, the guy talks and answers to himself in a different voice, and he punched me in the nose for no reason

Eve responded with: actually, I promised twice you could punch you in the nose for what you did... Apparently he takes betrayal from friends, very seriously if it makes you feel any better when I meet the guy that betrayed him I get to punch him in the nose. Also twice suffers from split personality syndrome.

Twice: yes, it's very serious condition... It's not that bad I'm fine

Eve looked at everyone else who was slightly concerned at the doubler perception: don't worry, he's not gonna hurt anyone and by the way, Rex other reason why he punched you in the nose is because when the crows attacked us, you hit behind a desk and wet yourself and don't deny it. We all saw and the wet patch was exactly where pee stain would've been

Rex acting like an arrogant ass: well... I wasn't afraid I didn't get the chance to go to the bathroom before the invasion! good, I did not hide I was injured, one of those... Things bit me

Eve: we both know that's a lie you're just embarrassing yourself can you please just go away talk to Cecil

Rex, realising that he wasn't going to win, did what he always did, ran away and pretended like he won twice in Eve turned their attention back to the superhero and the representation of the government: okay, so to clarify, most of the pack is helping out with the rescue operations, but some of them have gone home to their own dimensions. Can't say I blame them after all of this.

Cecil: right, still, can't believe that a bunch of demons are helping out

Twice: well, technically, according to loona demons from her world, or her version of Hell aren't, as the Bible describes as matter-of-fact, their version of hell, looks reliably similar to the human world it's not exactly peaceful, but it's not exactly a river of fire like everyone thinks the hell hounds just have to be tough because they're born on the low scale of power in Hells hierarchy I guess you could say they're not bad, they just... They have to act tough because otherwise they'll get eaten alive and I think in some cases that's literal

Eve: yeah it's this whole thing apparently where the sinners go go Pergram city, an entire area called cannibal town and you guess did it's filled to the brim with cannibals but enough about that look seal. The reason why this universe is doctors can't go in and see the boss is because it doesn't really work with the packs rules

Samantha: what are you talking about?

Eve: well, . They had to use a pacific method to make sure that they weren't giving me any drugs or treatments that could cause an allergic reaction and because we haven't had time to study this world, we don't know whether or not some of the stuff you use could kill the boss

Mark: so it's better for you to use medication that you know on effect him... Wow, that is really clever than also kind of paranoid

Eve: we have to be, because you haven't realised we're fighting an evil criminal mastermind, who defeated you and your father in my dimension... Actually, speaking of which twice feel like testing it out?

Twice immediately knew what Eve was talking about as erase fist and punched invincible across the face, and everyone surprised it actually went through Mark cuddled his nose because blood it starting pouring out from it, twice had broken it: ow! what the hell is wrong with you? You broke my nose... Wait, you broke my nose, how did you break my nose?!

Eve was ecstatic: yes, the boss theory was right. We don't know, but for whatever reason when someone from a universe, similar to the bosses comes in contact with viltrumite it makes their powers weaker to the point where it's relatively a fair fight who won entirely sure, but we knew there was a reason why all one was able to beat Omni man and invincible so easily. now we know why now we also know how to beat a viltrumite if we ever come across one

Samantha: okay, ignoring the amazement of all that, what should I do, you said it yourself, or I said I am I'm so confused about the oldest, but all one, the guy that's in charge of this whole thing you said he has a special interest in our powers, should I go into hiding or something?

Eve: no you should be safe all for one isn't a fool. He now knows that you've come in contact with us so that means if anything happens to you

Samantha: guys would come running... Okay that's good at least I don't have to go into hiding still why is he interested in our powers? Specifically I mean I get that we can change things on macular level but only on nonliving objects

Twice: it might have something to do with the fact that your powers are very similar to another woman in our dimension, called stars and stripes. She can change anything in the world just by knowing its name and seeing it quite literally she can change reality itself because her power new order and even though your powers aren't an exact replica, it's the closest thing he has right now he can't take on any version of stars and stripes, she's too powerful, but with your power he might have a chance

Samantha: well, that's something I guess... Wait hold on, he's just going to steal my power, just so we can steal power from another person

Eve nod: pretty much, yeah look the easiest way to describe this is the fact that this guy is pure evil and believe me when I say it because I didn't believe in evil until I heard about this guy I mean when he was an infant he ate his mother for nutrients... When he was older, he killed countless people and stirred up the fury between non-power users and power users, just so we can get in power. He killed the only hope the world had for peace at the Time. Then he captured his brother, and kept him like a pet before killing him after he tried to escape. If there was any person that described the definition of evil, it would be this guy and right now. The only guy capable of stopping him is badly injured.

Everyone turned their attention down the hallway, where the hero of the hour was recovering under the heavy protection of the Gwen clones, and loona who is the run, refusing to let the doctors in other than their own. Mark rubbing away the blood from his nose.: not to be pessimistic, but do you really think he's gonna pull through? I heard about what happened every bone in his body was broken, even if he does somehow survive, he'll never be 100% again.

Eve chuckled a little: no offence mark, but you don't know Izuku and sure I may not know him as well as loona or miles, but there's one thing I know about him he makes the impossible possible he'll pull through, and yeah maybe he won't be 100% again, but it'll be pretty damn close

She was right about that  izuku was healing up relatively fast thanks to his healing factor but there was a problem 2499 had to get in there since most of his bones were broken and were slowly beginning to grow back. Thanks to the healing factor, it was important to remove the fragments of the broken bones out of his muscles and skin. Of course, it was still a long process to recovery and right now the hero was on life-support.

Loona: how is he?

2499: it's touch and go, but he should be fine. His healing factor is kicking in, but apparently it's not as strong as we thought... It can heal broken bones, but I don't think you can grow back limbs, so tell him that if he loses a finger, he's never getting it back, it's going to be a long process but wakes up. I think we should get back to the den after that he'll be in bed for three days if not a week

Sandy: and you're sure you've done everything you can

2499: yeah, I removed the bone fragments, and I've had some of my nano bots go into his system to help with the healing process, he should be fine, assuming he doesn't overexert himself, but then again look who I'm talking about the king of overexerting himself just when he's recovering make sure he rests for his scars to heal... God, he has so many now his entire bodies covered in them

Loona: don't worry, I've got some ideas on how I can get him to stay in bed even if I have to tie them up to it, he is resting and as for scars, I think they make him look hot

2499: well, despite everything he should be fine I'll be waiting for you guys back at the den the anomalies aren't gonna stop themselves

The future man left through a portal created by breach, leaving the girls to wait for their beloved to wake up,V stroking his hair, as if trying to give him some form of comfort: do you think he's going to be okay?

Huntress : well, yeah, you heard what the doctor said he's gonna be fine

O.G: that's not what she meant Huntress, she meant in like a psychological sense he just found out he's related to a nutcase who has also been using his powers to kill people on the top of all of the Demon King implied that shadow burn is his best friend that he watched die I mean God, what could be going through his head right now?

Loona: probably facing it right now... Look, I admit that I'm not the most sensitive person, but we need to discuss...this

The Gwen's knew what she was talking about the fact that all of them had fallen in love with the same guy, so while he slept, they spoke about what they could do to help... Fix the situation. Meanwhile  izuku in the mindscape was having a conversation... With his grandmother.
