Tian Xing wandered around, looking for Jin GuangYao and Lan XiChen. Unfortunately she couldn't find them.

She had wanted to talk some sense into that single minded and obsessive Jin. He was a victim of social mistreatment as well.

She did not like him that much. But even then, she could not deny that he had a messed up past.

Still that was not that much of an excuse for the amount of damage he did to everyone.

'I guess after knowing Wei WuXian I just can't justify anyone who acts batshit just cuz of bad past. Then again not everyone is Wei WuXian. But he is the standard.'

Days passed by and she was fairing well, but she was looking for a job somewhere. Preferably a job related to music.

Maybe she could join in any sect as the music instructor. Or maybe even the Lan sect as one.

But she didn't know if the teachings here were going to be the same as the teachings she had.

Obviously not, what was she thinking?

Eventually she was running out of money. But then she heard.

She heard about the indoctrination. The Wen indoctrination.

Instantly her ears picked up. She had a new destination in mind.

The QishanWen Sect.

She asked one of the vendor keepers, "Hello kind Master. May you tell me when the Wen Indoctrination will be held?"
The vendor keeper replied, "Three days from today. Why do you ask?"
"Nothing. Just wanted to know."

Tian Xing then started her path towards the sun.

Reaching the QishanWen sect made her realise how the hot the area actually was. She was surprised by the heat.
'No wonder their sect symbol is the sun.'

She had arrived at the very last minute and sneaked in with the many disciples of the various sects.

As she made her way and walked, she found the Jiang Sect disciples and sure enough, Wei WuXian and Jiang Cheng.

She sneaked in and called to them, "A-Xian, A-Cheng."

Wei WuXian and Jiang Cheng looked at her and were surprised to see her. So were the other disciples.

"Lady Tian? What are you doing here?" Wei WuXian asked, puzzled, ignoring the fact that he had just been called A-Xian.

Jiang Cheng, on the other hand, scowled, "Who said you could call us so informally? I noticed you have been doing that for a while. It's inappropriate."

Tian Xing chuckled, "Is it now?" She looked at him fondly.

'Children. Such young and naive youths, unaware of the tragedy that comes in the future.'

Jiang Cheng snapped, "It is. We have been calling you properly so we expect politeness as well."

Tian Xing smirked, "Then call me Xing-Jie too. Who's stopping you?"
"Jiang Cheng now is not the time for this. Lady Tian-"
"Xing-Jie."
"But Lady-"
"Xing-Jie."
"Lady Ti-"
"Xing-Jie." She emphasised each word.

Wei WuXian sighed and gave up, "Xing-Jie why exactly are you here? Aren't you a rogue cultivator?"
"I sneaked in."
"What? But why? We wished we didn't have to come here and you sneaked in when you could have just ignored this whatever bullcrap it is?" Wei WuXian sounded scandalised.

Tian Xing chuckled again, "Didn't I tell you, I will be there when you need me the most?"
Wei WuXian was taken aback, "Yes but...how do we need you now?"
"You'll see A-Xian."

At that moment the Wen Sect's drum rolled and Wen Chao along with Wang LingJiao came out.

Wei WuXian and Jiang Cheng scowled bitterly.

None liked the over explicit 'couple' over there.

Tian Xing nearly gagged.

The rest was history repeating itself.

Tian Xing handed over the sword-
No no no wait.

Not her real sword.

Tian Xing handed over her fake sword that she brought from one of the cheap vendors selling them just for the sake of it and then she went away smirking.

People obviously saw that smirk but they couldn't identity the reason behind it.

All in all none were too pleased with the way things were going.

Tian Xing decided to go just sneak in one of the rooms.

Dear goodness. It was getting difficult sneaking all over. Fortunately she was trained enough to do so as an idol.

She had to confine her identity and go to public places many times, so that people would not recognise her and attack her up for pictures and autographs.

Not that she minded. But there were works that had to be done whenever she came out in such a way. Private or necessary.

Tian Xing sneaked into a room without really looking who's room it was.

Coincidencially it was Jin ZiXuan.

'Oh great...this peacock... I just had to choose this room...'
She rolled her eyes.

Jin ZiXuan was alert immediately and so were the roommates sharing his room.

Tian Xing tried to calm them down saying that she was assigned to this room due to some problems being in her room.

Surprisingly they bought the explanation.

'I guess Jins will be Jins, good or bad.'

She then proposed that she will just take the floor to sleep.

She was used to much worse than a good floor.

Tian Xing was adjusting herself as she really had no belongings with her when one of the disciples spoke out, "I can't believe those Wen dogs actually took out swords. That's bullshit."
Another spoke, "Yeah. Swords are the symbol of being a cultivator. Young Master Jin was right about what he said. But those Wens..."
"It's Wen Chao. Not Wens." spoke up Tian Xing.

The disciples paused, so Tian Xing resumed.
"It's Wen Chao who ordered the disciples to hand over their swords. Not the whole Wen Clan. The whole clan doesn't have the power to do so. Just because one person of one clan is doing something, doesn't mean all of the clan has to shoulder the responsibility of that one person's actions."

The Jins were enraged.
"What? Are you taking those Wen dogs' side?"
"She must be crazy."
"What a bitch."
"You must be a spy of them."

"ENOUGH!" a familiar voice boomed in.
It was Jin ZiXuan.
"She is not wrong, is she?" he questioned.

The room fell silent.
"It's true. Not all of the Wens can do it. Just because the rulers of the Wen Sect are tyrants doesn't mean their people will be tyrant as well. There is good and bad in every place. So there might also be good Wens in the clan."

Tian Xing was surprised. She truly understood why he was so liked by the cultivation world.

He was arrogant, that's true. But truth be told, he had a strong sense of justice and humanity.

'If only he wasn't such a tsundere.' Tian Xing bitterly thought.

The night settled down.

Tian Xing came to Jin ZiXuan, "Thank you for speaking up for me earlier Young Master Jin."
"No problem. What you said was right. Not all Wens are bad."
"Yes..."
"By the way, I never asked your name."
"It's Tian Xing."
"Alright. Which sect are you from?"
"I am a rough cultivator."

Jin ZiXuan looked puzzled, "Then how did you come in? The Wens only sent the invitation to the cultivators of various sects.

Tian Xing smiled, " Fate brought me here."
"Don't play around."
"I am not Young Master Jin."

Jin ZiXuan was one step away from waking up the disciples and chasing her away when she questioned, "Young Master Jin is a fine gentleman. Is there none that you wish to take the hand of?"

Jin ZiXuan was very startled by this sudden change of topic.
"That's none of your business."
"It's not. But I would love to know. After all you have everything a maiden would want."
"Are you trying to woo me?"

Tian Xing chuckled.
"Child, I am way past the age."

Again, another change.
Jin ZiXuan scowled, "Child?"
"To me, yes, you are."
"What do you mean?"
"You didn't answer me. Is it true that you and Lady Jiang were once engaged but now the engagement got broken due to you bad mouthing her?"

Jin ZiXuan's hand went to his sword. His engagement was a very sour topic for him.

"Young Master Jin. Please do not try to be too cocky. If I wanted to harm you and the disciples, I would have a long time ago."

Her neon eyes started glowing and she looked at Jin ZiXuan, mustering the aura of the idol that she was, for a few seconds

Even just those few seconds were enough to intimidate him.

"Young Master Jin, have you ever tried knowing Lady Jiang?"
"..."
"Then what gave you the right to badmouth her, that even behind her back?"
"..."
"Lady Jiang has constantly tried to be on good terms with you. Then why haven't you? Just because she is not good at cultivation? Is cultivation all that matters to you? What about kindness, keen intellect, observation and nature of a person?"

She looked at Jin ZiXuan dead in the eye.
"Every single person has a gift Young Master Jin. Lady Jiang is a person you need in your life. She has the gift of kindness that is much needed in the Jin sect. Lady Jiang has already grasped and mastered the gift she has been bestowed with. But A-Xuan...can you do it?"

Jin ZiXuan was speechless. Tian Xing continued, "Can you grab the gift meant for you? Do you know what is the gift that is meant for you?"

Jin ZiXuan was now boyond speechless. He didn't know what to think of this strange lady in multicoloured robes.

"How do you know about all these?"
"Child, are you serious? Both of you are from two gentry sects? Isn't it supposed to be known?"

Jin ZiXuan felt a bit embarrassed at that. Tian Xing chuckled fondly, "Think about it A-Xuan. Think about what is the gift that you have within you. And if you can grasp it, I assure you, your life will be beautiful. All you need is the courage to grasp it."

Tian Xing then went to where is was about to sleep and said, "I wish Young Master Jin a good night."

With that she laid down on her mat and soon fell into a deep slumber.
