Got another chapter here for you awesome readers!

Silver kept (y/n) hugged to him as everything around him unfolded. There were many Team Rocket grunts, about eleven, and Proton was also there. It was Proton that had snatched Silver away from (y/n) but Silver had managed to break free of his grip and rushed over to the idiot that had hit his friend. Silver had taken (y/n) back, taking hold of her hand as he did, and was about to try figuring something out until he heard (y/n)'s whisper.

Pokémon from just about every direction swarped into view, attacking the members of Team Rocket and their pokémon. (Y/n) and himself remained unharmed and Silver saw this as an opportunity to escape. As he began to try leaving, he heard Proton calling after him. Silver ignored him amd ran off into the forest towards the exit, carrying (y/n) as he went. He hoped that she was okay and concluded that he'd have to go back to Azalea Town to the Pokémon Center to get help.

Just as he was nearing the exit, (y/n) woke up and seemed very frightened and confused until she realized that Silver was the one carrying her. Silver stopped right where he was. "Are you okay? Can you stand?" Silver asked as he looked down at her. "I think I'm okay. My head still hurts but I've got Tabunne to help with that," (y/n) said as she tried to get down. Silver allowed her to stand and (y/n) retrieved her pokéball to release Tabunne. Silver kept watch for any members of Team Rocket as (y/n) got Tabunne to heal her a bit.

"There, all better. Thanks a lot Tabunne!" (y/n) said before petting Tabunne and returning her to her pokéball. "We need to go and quickly. I don't know if they're still chasing us or not," Silver said as he took (y/n)'s hand. "Right," (y/n) agreed. The two of them headed off, running out of the forest and arriving back in Azalea Town. Team Rocket wouldn't be coming after them for a bit with all of those pokémon to deal with. By then, both Silver and (y/n) were tired but (y/n) suddenly laughed.

"I can't believe that even after all of that, you managed to still think about our game," (y/n) said with a smile. Silver realized what she meant when he saw that he was still holding her hand. "Well then I guess I get to add one more rule to this game then, huh. I was thinking...people don't always start off as friends, you know. Sometimes they just end up in a relationship when they meet. I believe it's called a blind date," Silver was saying, letting (y/n)'s hand go as he did.

"So you want to go on a blind date with someone? What does that have to do with our game?" (y/n) asked. "What, no! You didn't let me finish. Why don't we do that? Instead of starting off as friends, we could sort of...you know, blind date," Silver said as he looked away from (y/n). "Things don't usually work out like that you know. Most of those things end sooner rather than later," (y/n) said.

"I've never understood them to be honest. Relationships are so complicated that the one I have with my father is barely to be called one," Silver said. They unconsciously walked towards the Pokémon Center as they talked. "If that's what you want then sure, I'll give it a try. You're quite adorable afterall, plus we're so similar that there are few things to drive us appart. Is this the extra rule that you wanted to add?" (y/n) said with a nod.

"Well, not exactly. That was something I was going to ask you anyway. My extra rule was that if I made it out of the forest still holding your hand...you'd have to kiss me. I've never been kissed before so I...was wondering...you know," Silver said as he stopped, blushing deeply as he did so. There was a bit of silence for a moment and Silver glanced at (y/n) to see her grinning like an idiot. "You're so stereotypical, you know that. This is how stuff like this always happens," (y/n) said. "But you didn't ans-...!" Silver was saying but was cut off when (y/n) kissed him.

A wave of euphoria washed over him and he found himself slowly closing his eyes. Silver placed his hands over (y/n)'s which were holding his cheeks but (y/n) pulled away from him and he opened his eyes again. She laughed at him a bit, still holding his cheeks, his hands still on hers. "You're expression. You were surprised at first but now you look like you're disappointed. No more of those though. You'll have to wait a bit before you do that again," (y/n) said as she pulled her hands away from Silver's cheeks.

Silver said nothing and only followed after (y/n) as she headed to the Pokémon Center. When they entered, Silver immediately caught some of someone's conversation. "...so she's probably already moved on to another town or city. Who knows how far she's gotten," the familiar voice of Gold said. "But she just recently talked to use back at the Pokémon Center in Goldenrod City. There's no way she just completely skipped a whole town. (Y/n) said that she'd always stay somewhere at least a week," Crystal said.

They were actually about to leave the Pokémon Center so it was inevitable that they'd see (y/n) and Silver standing there with surprised looks on their faces. Gold was the first to notice them and he stopped right where he stood when he saw that Silver was there. Crystal did as well, realizing that (y/n) was standing right in front of her. "Umm...hi?" (y/n) said to get rid of the awkward tension that had built up within seconds.

Silver really didn't feel like being verbally abused today but he couldn't just leave (y/n), especially after kissing her, so he faught the strong urge he had to turn around and walk out like he would have done before then. "(Y/n)...why are you with Silver again? Didn't we tell you he'd get you into trouble or worse," Crystal questioned as if Silver was really there. Gold had steped forward to try and step between him and (y/n) and pull her away from him but Silver reactied almost instinctively to the "threat". He pulled (y/n) behind him amd stood in front of her rather protectively.

"Leave her alone," he growled. Gold took a step back, likely surprised that Silver had decided to "fight back" for the last time Silver had done so, he'd done some bad things that he wasn't proud of. "What do you think you're doing? (Y/n) isn't a possession of yours. Let her go," Gold said. Silver then realized that he was still holding (y/n)'s arm and she had silently been trying to pry her arm free of his grasp for had unknowingly hurt her. He gave her a regretful and apologetic look as he let her go.

"You guys are wrong about Silver. He isn't a bad person," (y/n) said. "You don't know what he's done to us, to other people," Crystal said. Silver noticed the few people in the Pokémon Center starting to take notice of the conflict. "Can't we take this outside," Silver muttered for he didn't like disrupting other people's peace andly more than he like people disrupting his own peace. "What? No. We're settling this matter right," Gold said. "No, we're going outside," (y/n) firmly stated and she took Silver's hand and pulled him along with her.

Crystal and Gold had no choice but to follow them outside. Even then, (y/n) didn't let go of Silver's hand despite him slightly trying to pull his hand away. If Gold and Crystal saw that she was holding his hand, they'd ask questions. One thing would lead to another and (y/n) could end up losing two friends because of him. Silver didn't want that because knew exactly what it felt like to lost two friends. "(Y/n), you need to step away from Silver," Gold said as he and Crystal got outside.

"I've been around him for a whole day now. I'm sure he would have attacked me by now if he had the intent to do so," (y/n) said. "That's not it. You don't know what he's done," Gold reasoned. "You don't know what I've done and yet we get along perfect fine," (y/n) said. "Just listen to us for a minute will you. Silver must be tricking you or something. He did the same to us, made us believe in him. And then he turned around and nearly killed us," Crystal snapped.

Silver winced at the statement, clearly remembering what happened that day. Well maybe they didn't forget about that part huh. It really wasn't entirely his fault though. (Y/n) seemed to go completely still. "Silver...is that true?" (y/n) asked. Silver kept silent, refusing to meet her gaze. He hated it wen people judged him based on his past which was probably what (y/n) was doing as she looked at him. "Well, Silver. You didn't answer her," Crystal said.

"I'm sorry," Silver said, making sure not to look his former friends in their eyes. "You may be, but I can't let you be around (y/n), Silver. I know you want to be forgiven but I can't and for that I'm sorry. Now, (y/n), let his hand go and let him leave," Gold said, seemingly more calm than he was at first. "Silver, I don't know what got into you but if you think you could ever be forgiven for what you did then you'll be thinking forever. You're just like that treacherous father of yours!" Crystal said.

That statement actually did hurt though. Silver had once thought he had a relationship with his father and was blinded by this along with his father's claims to save the world. When he had found out about his father's trickery, it had hurt him down to his heart. To be compared to his father for simply wanting someone to love really did hurt him. Much to his dismay, (y/n) pulled her hand from his own and he felt his heart practically shatter.

"If you ever talk like that to Silver again, you're going to regret it," he heard (y/n) say. He looked up finding that she had pulled Crystal forward by the collar of her shirt giving her a murderous look. "If you two can't accept that Silver is trying to be a better person then I'm afraid we can't be friends anymore. I don't appreciate you guy's attitudes when you see him around. I'm asking for both of our sake that you not bring up what he's done in the past. Besides, I'm no better than he is," (y/n) said after letting Crystal go.

Silver felt overwhelmingly joyful upon hearing her words. No one had ever stood up for him like that. The moment was ruined very badly though when a very annoying and familar person showed up. "There's now way you're escaping us this time. And don't think I'm letting you little friends get away either!" Proton, who had several bite marks, scratches, and cuts adorning his Team Rocket admin outfit. "When are things going to go the way I want them to?" Silver thought.
