This chapter is gonna have nothing to do with the definition-

Darryl POV

I'm worried about Zak. He's been awfully quiet this whole time we've been on a call. Me, Vincent, and him were on teamspeak just chatting.

But he's barely talking, only adding comments in between our conversations. I think Vincent's beginning to realize it too, based on the way he started to act.

Right now, there is no sound coming from Zak's mic, except for the sound of him drinking something. Eventually I got curious and asked, "What are you drinking?"

"Water." He said, seemed slightly taken aback by my sudden question.

"You're drinking water in a can?" Vincent asked.

"What?" Me and Zak said at the same time.

"I heard Zak open a can earlier." He said, "Multiple cans actually."

I didn't even notice that.

"In that case, it's definitely not water." I said.

"Why does it matter, it's just a drink." Zak said, his voice shaking.

That increased my worry even more. What if he's drinking something that's not good for him? What if it's something that's dangerous?

"Zak, tell us." I said in a stern voice.

"It's just red bull." He said.

I felt relieved but my relief cut short.

Didn't Vincent say he heard multiple cans being opened?

My worry returned as quickly has it left.

As if Vincent was reading my thoughts, he said, "How many did you drink?"

Zak went silent for a few seconds, "This is my 4th one."

Oh my goodness.

His fourth one?!

That's a lot of caffeine.

I heard him slurp again, "Zak stop it!"

"Sorry." He said in a tired voice.

That's when I realized how tired he sounded the whole call. A bunch of questions ran through my mind;

Is he okay?

Is he getting enough sleep?

Is something bothering him?

I finally asked him, "Are you okay?"

I heard him exhale and say;

"I'm fine."

Okay so this was going to be a lot longer but I started to feel sick in the middle of writing this. I might do a part 2 later or tomorrow. Sorry :(
