It was a lovely day in the city, you and Becky were leaning against the tree talking about the "Pretty Princess" series that comes on every Saturday. 

"I wished Pretty Princess was real to take us on an adventure." You sighed heavenly and Becky nodded.

"So do I. I can't believe that show still plays ever since I was 10 and it's been so popular ever since." She chimed.

"Me too. Hey, maybe this year we can both be Pretty Princesses." You chuckled.

"That would be fun for a Halloween theme. But its so far away and I wished it was right around the corner." 

That's when you saw a man in a formal suit shouting out to everyone about something BIG and exclusive.

"Hey Becky, someone's making an announcement." You pointed over as she looked over and rolled her eyes.

"Oh boy, I wonder what Mr. Big wants to announce this time?" She says in sarcasm.

"Should we go check it out?" You asked.

"Might as well. Who knows what his next plan is to do to the city?" Becky mumbled the last part before standing up next to you and walked over to the crowd that wanted to hear his announcement.

"Greetings citizens, I, Mr. Big has created something very BIG and BETTER for our city. I want to introduce you to the BIG exclusive Apple IPad Pro 8th generation. I've heard the 7th one has been created but I've upgraded it even better!" He enthusiasm as everyone 'awed' at the size of the pad that he created. In the back row, you and Becky were amazed at the size and apps on it including showing Mr. Bigs' facial on the screen.

"I'll take one!" One shouted.

"Let me finish!" He shouted at the crowd as it went silent as he continued, "This digital device has all the apps that you can have, it has storage space, lightening effects, filters, etcetera. If anyone wants one 50 dollars please because these babies are as good as gold." 

The crowd went wild holding out they're money in the air to buy one or two of the Apple Ipad he created for the 8th generation that was unexpectedly released. You were shocked to see that there were so many to go around but Becky didn't by it knowing it was another trick that Mr. Big wanted to use against the people.

"I have a bad feeling about this," Becky mumbled.

You looked at her and then saw Mr. Big talking to a lady in blond, she had on a formal suit but only red and wore glasses that she seemed a bit bold and the look of boredom written all over her face.

"Excuse me, but I wanted to ask you about the Apple Ipad." You spoke up breaking their conversation as they looked at you.

Mr. Big spoke up, "Young lady, I'm all ears." 

"I was just going to ask if the Ipad has any type of other new things on it. Like, art, educational apps, cameras, and video chat involved?" 

"Why certainly dear, just hold this device and see for yourself." He said handing it over to you and right before you can reach it someone slapped it away to shatter on the ground into millions of pieces.

Word Girl Pov

I quickly stepped in between Mr. Big and Y/N knowing that he had everyone on mind control as his big plot for years now.

"Mr. Big, leave her alone and turn off that machine. The Apple Ipad 8th generation isn't properly made just your face under all those apps." I said as he formed a huge scowl but formed a smirk.

"Not so fast Word Girl, mind controlling may be something I wanted to do,but I knew something else would be in good use. My people attack Word Girl!" He demanded as I looked around to the citizens obeying under his command to attack me. 

I didn't want to hurt them so I had to prevent myself to get trapped but the people wouldn't let me go nowhere, instead I was surrounded and grabbed by each of them.

"Too bad that greatest hero is going to be defeated." He cackled.

"You won't get away with this!" I yelled at his face.

"But I did. Farewell, and may the city bow down to my feet."  He laughed in a villainous tone. 

That's when we heard a slight ding coming from Y/N as she smiled.

"You just got owned good, sir. I disabled one app that could end all of this." Y/N said pointed to the screen to reveal a photo of Mr. Big taking a bubble bath holding a rubber ducky and was loading to send around the world.

"NO! Please don't do this to me." He begged.

"Fine. Stop mine controlling everyone and I'll cancel this post." Y/N said.

Mr. Big sighed in defeat as nodded over to Lesley to stop the mine control and Y/N pressed cancel on the Ipad as everyone was confused wondering what just happened. But it wasn't over just yet, the police arrested Mr. Big and Lesley as everyone went back to doing what they were doing. 

"Thanks again for the save, Y/N." I thanked her as she nodded.

"Sure thing. All I had to do was look through the app settings and find a way to stop him from doing this." She said as I smiled didn't think twice of how smart she was to save my life the second time.

"Uh, Y/N, there's something I want to ask you?" I asked as she looked at me in curiosity.

"Yes, Word Girl?" She asked. If only she knew.

"I-I wanted to ask you if you would like to hang out sometime?" I asked.

"Oh, I would love to." She said as my heart began to beat fast.

"R-Really? Wow, uh, maybe we can hang out sometime when there is no distractions about." I suggested.

"Sounds good to me." She said with a smile as I squealed inside.

"Great. I'll see you soon. Bye!" I zipped off to head back home to my bedroom jumping around the room as Bob stared at me wondering what I was so excited about. "Bob! I did it! I actually asked Y/N to hang out with me." 

He gave me a thumbs up and TJ came into the room, "Cool. When's the wedding?" He asked.

"TJ!" I growled chasing him out of my room.
