As the months flew by, the weather has changed for a perfect day to go to the beach. Your parents wanted you to go with the Botsford family while they are going to the museum. You agreed and had already had on a bathing suit to wear for the beach.

Becky (Finally I have her point of view)

I was super excited because today we were going to the beach as a family and Y/N was joining us. I had already put on my bathing suit and when I saw Y/N sitting in the living room watching television while she waited for everyone I felt a little tingle in my chest. Something about Y/N made my heart skip a beat each time I see her and I couldn't stop it. 

"Becky? Are you okay?" She asked as I shook my head and waved at her.

"Uh, yeah. I'm totally fine." I said as she nodded.

"Good. I was wondering what we can do while we're at the beach." She asked.

"There are a ton of things we can do there and I'm sure Bob and TJ have ideas too," I assure her as my dad entered the room.

"Alright girls, we've got everything ready for the beach. Help us pack our stuff and then we can hit the road." Dad said as Y/N helped me put the stuff inside and she tried to carry the beach supplies that TJ packed.

"Here let me help you," I said as I used my super strength to get it from her as she stared at me in surprise.

"Wow, your so strong." She said.

"Yeah, I, uh hit the gym once in a while." I chuckled.

"Cool." She said as I facepalm myself.

'Becky? Why did I say that?' I thought.

When we were done loading up the car Y/N and I sat next to each other talking about girl stuff while TJ and Bob played games in the car. On the road, we were super hyped to get to the beach until we were stopped by a long line up ahead.

"Dad? What's going on?" I asked.

"It appears we're stuck in a traffic jam on the bridge that is the only way to lead us to the beach," Dad replied.

I looked over at Bob who knew something wasn't right either and these people were going to the beach too. I had to get out and investigate what was going on here.

"Uh, Dad...I, uh, have to go use the restroom," I spoke up.

"What? Becky you should've used it sooner before we left home."

"I know. But i-it will be quick. Bob come with me." I said as he walked over to where I was to get out of the car and when I was about to shut the door Y/N stared at me.

"I can come too." She said.

"Oh, that won't be necessary Y/N. We'll be right back." I assured and I shut the door hurrying to transform into Word Girl.

As Bob got on my back and I flew up I scanned around and saw one of Toby's robots blocking the gate entrance. 

"That's strange. This robot can't be acting on its own." I said to Bob until I saw a bunch of exclamation points popping out of nowhere as we dodged them from hitting us.

"Looking for me, Word Girl?" I heard one of my villains Ms. Question flying on top of a question mark. 

"Ms. Question!?" 

"Expecting someone else?" 

"Uh, yeah. Tobey, you know, the kid who can make these robots."

"Do you think Tobey is the only villain who can control robots?"

"What are you up, Ms. Question?" I asked.

Ms. Question explained her plot about questioning everyone with a riddle to see if they can get it right so they can head to the beach. If they get it wrong then they will remain trapped in this traffic jam.

"Yeah, I don't think this plan of yours is pretty devious," I remarked.

"Are you trying to insult me?" She asked offendedly.

I watched as Ms. Question shot her question marks at me but I dodged them smiling in triumph, the victory was short when the robot backhand slap me into the water. I falling deeper and deeper while holding my breath but an octopus saved me as I came back to the surface to see Captain Huggy Face trapped in a cage.

"What's the matter, Word Girl?" She teased.

"I can see that my sidekick is now stranded in a cage and needs me to rescue him." I flew over to Captain Huggy Face trying to get him out of the cage but Ms. Question hits me were her question marks making me lose my thoughts.

"Hm,  wonder what I should do with my pet monkey? Maybe take him to the zoo?" She said as I growled a little.

"Let him go, Ms. Question," I demanded.

I was hit again by the robot and I flew down onto some lady's car who was complaining about going to the beach and another lady beside us too. 

"What's the holdup? Why can't you let us get out of here?" She asked.

I sighed, "I know you're probably puzzled as to why I'm having trouble defeating Ms. Question. Since she is usually so easy to defeat."

"We're not puzzled. We're confused. Baffled. And perplexed." She said in a rude tone.

"We don't understand what's going on. Even though we're trying hard to figure it out." The other lady said.

"Actually, that's what Puzzled means. If you can't figure something out, you might say your puzzle." I said as I flew back to where Ms. Question was waiting and Captain Huggy Face was still trapped.

"Okay, I'll admit it. You did defeat me and my powers weren't so usefully into stopping your devious plan. But, I challenge you...to a riddle contest!" I said as she sat on the robot eating her food she ordered and listened.

"A riddle contest?" She asked.

"Yes, if I answer any riddle you give me and if I can't answer it. I'll admit defeat and you can keep Huggy in the cage forever."

"Hm, that sounds like a little easy game to do. I accept." She said.

I folded my arms over my chest and listened to her carefully as she talked about the hardest riddles in history The Sphinx.

"What goes on 4 legs in the morning, 2 legs at noon, and 3 legs late at night?" She asked.

"Oh, geez, that's a hard one," I said.

I used my super-hearing to here TJ and Y/N discussing The Riddle of The Sphinx. I flew down to the Botsford/ my family to ask them for help.

When I arrived at their vehicle I opened the door seeing Y/N trying to guess the riddle with TJ as she turned to look over at me, "WORD GIRL!" 

She pulled me in a tight hug as I blushed a little and broke the hug and asked, "Bopsford citizens and L/N, I need your help because I am having trouble solving a riddle that could help defeat Ms. Question and rescuing  my sidekick." 

"Oh! I can help you." Y/N said as took the book of riddles from TJ and I asked her the riddle from The Sphinx. "Oh, I defiantly know that one." 

She leaned over to whisper it in my ear as I smiled, "That's it, eh? Wow...thanks Y/N. Uh, I mean..."

"It's okay, Y/N is alright. Don't be so formal." She giggled as I blushed again and flew off to answer Ms. Questions riddle. 

"Okay Ms. Question, I've got the answer to your riddle," I said.

"Really? Care to lay it on me." She grinned.

"The answer is...a person!" I chimed.

I looked at the expression on Ms. Question's face as she looked puzzled and I explained my answer to the riddle. She was fed up about it and was trying to escape but I hurried to stopped after saving Huggy from being locked in a cage. I zoomed over to Ms. Question putting my foot on her question mark and kicked her backward to get in the cage that Huggy was trapped in.

"Whoa! Put me down!" She demanded.

I looked at Huggy as he nodded as I carried Ms. Question and the robot onto the other side off the bridge into the water, "Now who's stranded? Have fun waiting for the police. Come on Huggy, we've got a beach to go to." 

I hurried back to the car transforming back into my bathing suit sitting next Y/N as she told me about what she did while was gone. And soon, we arrived at the beach as the day of fun was spectacular.
