Chapter 4

Underground base, meeting room 7:50 P.M.

Canada:

"I want to thank you for being here for today's emergency meeting. I also want to thank President Joe Rennet for protecting five toddlers from being perfected by a North Korean experiment that we now call, 'Imperfection Project.'

The thoughts of their actions have to be brought down through discussion after discussion. From Japan to France, these drones have spread across the globe, damaging city after city. First France, then all of Eastern Germany, and now New York City. North Korea has now put a threat on South Korea again and to many of us countries. I strongly advise, as the new President of the United States, I Carter Mendez, will have everyone put in safe and secure areas and have these drones eliminated.

North Korea has to be brought to justice and justice is what we shall bring!"

President Mendez stands up, slamming his fist on the desk labeled 'America'. I sadly stared at the name, the name who was my brother's. He was put into the hospital just only within a week when x208's group of friends started going through destroying New York. First, the airport then, the Statue of Liberty and worse... a children's hospital.

I shuddered from my thoughts and looked at my boss and Kuma. Mister Mason seemed calm about this situation, not even affected by it. That's because I'm one of the few countries that were not even noticed...not even by x208.

I sighed and began opening the newspaper for today's news:

DRONE ATTACK ON AMERICAN SOIL!

I flipped through the pages finding my eyes widen slower and slower. Page after page, certain small or big cities were found destroyed. Countless lives looked possessed in ways that no doctor could possibly cure at this point in time and there were definite sources of news reports from these writers that showed how much they sacrificed into finding there lost ones.

But as I flipped the pages, one only caught my eyes the most: Paris.

The cobble stone roads were crumbled, crowds were protesting over government protection, and bomb fires holding the perfected ones to be burned alive at stake. Loads of police officers pulled most of citizens of Paris out on to the countryside. (Many of which died of some sort of new outbreak on disease and or starvation.)

This was probably the worst thing that's ever happened. Possibly worse than World War One and Two combined...

"Everyone get out! There's a fire on the seventh wall!"

June 1, 2024 (Current Day)

Location: Sector 57, what was once part of Orlando, Florida.

Jane:

I ran through the border line of 49, reaching at the deserted edge of Sector 57. The air smelled of dirty water and its texture was misty, staining my ripped T-Shirt into a tinted shade. Dead palm tree branches whipped at my sides, crumbling onto the ground. Everything around Sector 57 was just a hazy junkyard, surrounding me with parts from amusement parks, rolling paper bags from Disney World, and toys that looked part of Shamu.

It was a disaster here. This part of the Sector was probably one of the top 170 sectors that were of just utter decay and sadness. This part of the sector was famous to hold Disney World, Adventure Islands, Sea World and many more amusements. This place was known worldwide and it held the most childhood memories for any kid unimaginable to hold. This place was Orlando, Florida, or at least what was left of it.

I sighed and sat on bolder held at the top of a mountain of debris. For the last 10 years of my life, everything has changed the countless lives that were here in America. The Imperfection Project has completed about 99 percent of the population, however; there is just one thing they are missing: me.

All government officials that could have possibly taken role as the new president of the United States have vanished, all of Europe was possibly as dead as my father is right now. The building that held the biggest meeting was when I was eight years old and that whole underground meeting was bursted into flames...

I didn't know what to do at that time, Mister George only told me that we had to get out of here. Somewhere safer. Somewhere far away. Somewhere where no one could possibly find you....

That was when we found this territory. The drones have taken control of America's government and systems of care. The only thing now is to be noticed. To be noticed by somebody...anybody...

"Miss? Are you alright?" Said a squeaky voice. The voice then patted my shoulder and asked again. "Miss?"

I let out a shaky breath, fearing for my worst possible guesses. The drones weren't far from this area so I would suspect it was them, however; it wasn't. I turned around to see an injured light green colored bunny, limping for help.

"M-Miss?"

Without a word, I picked up the bunny and patted his head for reassurance. I wasn't well with words but for now, I guess I wasn't alone.

((Hi!! This is chapter is FINALLY finished. I got angry because I was under a lot of... Issues ._. Also!! I dedicate this to @DiaSwitzLove for winning the contest! Well I gave a hint...So... Yeah. ._.))
