Who I am

Elsa stood in the centre of a dome filled statues depicting moments from the past moving around her.

A figure of Marshmallow growled behind Elsa as she spotted her, Anna, and Hiccup playing in the snow that wasn't caused by her during his visits.

"Hi I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs." Elsa watched herself play with the snowman.

"I love you, Olaf." The young Anna surged forward.

Anna rode the bike down the halls and laughing, a statue of her Anna and Hiccup ice skating slid past.

"Elsa is this safe with my leg and, ah!" Elsa stood next to the snow Hiccup and smiled.

"Come on, you can do it." Elsa says to hiccup and makes him skate.

Elsa smiled at each memory.

"Here I stand in the light of day!" Elsa cringed at the one of her singing Let it Go.

"Oh, like a chicken with the face of a monkey, I fly!" The Duke of Weseletin danced around her and she moved with his movements.

Liry nudged one of Toothless who was sitting on a cliff talking to Hiccup.

There was another one of Elsa and Hiccup when they were still kids.

"Hiccup?" Young Elsa asks.

"Yeah, it's a silly name." Young Hiccup understood.

"I like it. It's unique." Elsa tells him.

Another of her and Hiccup first meeting after years apart stood before her.

Elsa smiled, she was so shy and closed up back then. Now she had a family to help her confess her built up feelings.

Elsa walked past one of Anna meeting Hans for the first time.

"No, I wasn't looking where I was going, but I'm great actually." The statue of Hans helped up a frazzled Anna.

"Prince Hans of the Southern Isles." Elsa collapsed his form into a pile of snow.

Elsa watched one of her father and mother hugging.

"I love you." Agnar held Iduna close as Elsa watched with curiosity.

"I need to tell you about my past and where I'm from." Iduna looked up into her husband's eyes.

"I'm listening." they kissed as Elsa walked away.

Elsa turned when she heard a laugh of a girl, seeing her father sitting at the base of a tree and her mother hanging out of the tree's branches.

"Iduna?!" Agnar pulled the book to his chest, Liry wandered over.

"What are you reading your majesty?" Iduna smiled at him as Elsa crouched down to see the exchange.

"Oh, just some new Danish Author." Elsa and Liry moved on to the next statue of her mother placing Agnar into the back of a cart and hiding under a blanket.

Elsa turned to see her Grandfather and a royal attendant following him, Liry watched the exchange between the two of them.

"Grandfather?!" Elsa watched as he walked closer.

"King Ruenard, I don't understand?" The attendant followed the King.

"We bring Arendelle's full guard." Ruenard pulled his sleeves down as he and the attendant walked up to Elsa.

"But they have given us no reason not to trust them, and the Foreverwing has promised to keep Arendelle safe as well." Ruenard stopped and glared at the man.

"The Northuldra follow magic and this Foreverwing is nothing but a monster that won't hesitate to attack us." Elsa looked at her Grandfather with shock, then Liry growled at that last comment.

"It means we can never trust them, magic makes those in possession of it feel too powerful, to entitled, they think they can defy the will of a King." Ruenard faced forward with a look of determination.

"That is not what magic does. That's just your fear, fear is what can't be trusted." Elsa says as she watched her Grandfather walk past her and out of the dome.

Elsa waved her hand and a door opened to a tunnel, she started to walk towards it, but Liry stopped and gave her rider a worried croon.

"Liry, I'll be fine." Elsa walked after her grandfather and Liry followed, not wanting her Rider to get hurt.

"You see the dam will weaken their lands, so they will have to turn to me." Elsa followed after the statues deeper into the glacier, Liry was struggling down the icy stairs as they heard Iduna singing the lullaby in a ominous tone.

Elsa walked to the edge of a ledge and looked down into a deep dark hole, Liry gave off a nervous growl.

"They will come in celebration, the Foreverwing will put down its guard and then we will know their size and the power they possess." Elsa looked back at Liry.

"As you have welcomed us, we welcome you, our neighbours, our friends." Elsa shook her head and jumped, and Liry followed after her.

Elsa and Liry landed in a darker cavern, trees made of glowing ice surrounded them, as Elsa shivered. She looked down at her hands, they were starting to freeze, Liry felt stiff as she circled around Elsa.

Elsa looked around and saw Ruenard and the leader of the Northuldra talking.

"King Ruenard, the dam isn't strengthening our waters, it's hurting the forest, it's angering the Foreverwing, it's cutting off the North." Ruenard raised his hand to silence the man.

"Let's not discuss this here, let's meet on the fjord. Have tea, find a solution." The Northuldra leader nodded and walked away.

Elsa looked around trying to figure what was going on, Liry nudged her and saw the Northuldra leader sitting down to drink.

From behind, Elsa King Ruenard pulled his sword out and advanced on the unsuspecting leader.

Liry tried to move forward but her legs were frozen in place.

"No!" Elsa tried to help, but her body was freezing.

Liry pulled her tail and wings around Elsa, protecting her as Elsa curled her body up.

Elsa looked at her hands and realised there was something she could do, with one finale breath she threw her magic up.

"Anna, Hiccup." Elsa and Liry froze, trapped in the glacier for diving too deep.

-

Hiccup stood before the Foreverwing, and he had never felt such power before flowing through him.

"Grandfather." Hiccup greeted the Foreverwing who nodded and the Prince kneeled down to the deagon.

"Child, there is no need for that, you are beyond my authority." The Foreverwing said to Hiccup who looked up at the dragon.

"Why have you called me?" Hiccup asked, the Foreverwing crooned. "Why now?"

"You are more than your father has told you." The Foreverwing says and Hiccup looked up at the ancient dragon with confusion. "As you have bonded with your brother, you became destined to be crowned King of Dragons." Foreverwing explained to Hiccup who looked wide-eyed.

"But why me?" Hiccup finally asks the question he's been asking himself for years. "Why was I the one chosen to become the Dragon Prince?"

The Foreverwing blew green mist at Hiccup which surrounded him and what looked like a dragon raid could be seen.

"The dragon prince is a man who was born from both sides. But not of dragon and human. But born from war and peace." The Foreverwing explained as a Viking ran up to a downed dragon, ready to kill it. "But there are a few who believed peace was still possible." A woman ran to the Viking and stoped him.

"Stop! You'll only make things worse." the woman says when Hiccup notices the similarities between her and him.

"You were raised in a world that believed in peace amongst dragons. But you were born in a world that despised the idea." The Foreverwing explained to Hiccup and now he understands why he was chosen. "There are two sides to every bridge and as a child from two sides of the worlds, your abilities will unite our worlds." Foreverwing finished as Hiccup smiled, this was beyond what he thought he was meant to do.

Then he starts to realize the fact that his family...his real family...they gave him up. Caldera Cay was where he was raised, but where was he born?

But that's not important anymore. Mala was his sister, his father died protecting him, and he never knew his mother. It doesn't matter where he came from, because this is where he was meant to be.

The Foreverwing roared and the crystals along his spine lit up, as did the crystals on Hiccup's hands. His whole body surged with energy as the life force from the Foreverwing was transferred to Hiccup.

Hiccup opened his eyes, he was glowing as bright as the sun, his markings burned his skin.

"Ah!" Hiccup screamed, never in all his years had he felt such a pain before, but for him to take the role of King it had to be done.

The Foreverwing roared as the last of his life force was transferred and the plants holding Hiccup up fell to the ground limp and lifeless.

Hiccup collapsed once the vines let him go, his breathing was heavy, trying to overcome the pain he had done through. He looked at where his grandfather once stood, in its place was a glowing crystal the same size as the cavern.

Hiccup walked up to it and placed his hand on its surface, he felt a warmth radiate through his body.

"I can see his memories, King Ruenard didn't trust him, because of his fear that Grandfather would attack." Hiccup now understood and wonders if Elsa already found the truth, all these years Arendelle believed the Northuldra started the war.

Now he understands everything, he needs to-ah!

Something pricked his neck and he yanked it out to reveal...a blow dart?

Then everything went dark.
