The call

The friends and family are all in front of the fireplace playing charades as it's a fun thing they love to do together while their dragons all lay down in the corner together sleeping.

Sven has a small basket filled with cards that Hiccup, Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and Kristoff have to act out when picking one, a bell to get everyone's attention, and a small sand timer to inform five to start their charade and when times up, where their dragons all lay around the area watching the riders.

Right now, Anna is up and growling fiercely while making different poses.

"Uh, okay. Um, lion?" Kristoff guessed.

"Grizzly bear?" Heather guessed.

"Monstrous Nightmare?" Hiccup guessed.

"A monster?" Kristoff guessed.

"Brown bear?" Olaf guessed.

"Speed Stinger?" Hiccup guessed.

"Angry face?" Kristoff guessed.

"Black bear?" Olaf guessed.

"Triple Stryke?" Heather guessed.

Elsa didn't guess anything as she's studying her sister's actions hard to figure out the answered.

"Hans?" Olaf guessed, making Anna pointed at Olaf with a smile and grunted encouragingly as he's on the right track.

"Unredeemable monster?" Elsa guessed.

"Backstabber?" Hiccup guessed.

"Greatest mistakes of your life?" Heather guessed.

"Wouldn't even kiss you?" Olaf guessed.

Unfortunately they stopped guessing when Sven picked the bell up and started shaking it as times up as Anna sighs.

"Villain." Anna informed making the others groan.

"We all kind of got it." Olaf commented.

"Olaf, you're up." Kristoff told the living snowman.

"Okay." Olaf responded jumping off the couch just as Anna walked up to it and sat down between Elsa and Kristoff.

Sven bit down on the basket's handle to hold it out to Olaf, who picked one, where Sven backed up.

"So much easier now that I can read." Olaf said reading the card and tossed it off to the side. "Lighting round, boys against girls." Olaf informed them and Sven bit down on the bell to pick it up and ring it and then kick the the sand timer to flip it over.

Olaf shapeshifted so his carrot-nose was on top of his head while moving his stick-hair on his bottom and then bend over to act as an animal.

"Unicorn." Hiccup answered.

Olaf then changed again, jumping up to split his body parts, where his carrot-nose landed tip first then his bottom, head, torso, feet, and stick-arms and stick-hair up on top, while his coal-buttons were hidden.

"Ice cream." Kristoff answered as Olaf jumped up once again to split his body parts, where his bottom, which had a coal-button in the center up front, and feet, which both had a coal-button and a stick-arm that stood up, hit the floor then his torso and head with his carrot-nose up top, while his stick-hair was hidden.

"Castle." Hiccup answered, getting it right.

Olaf jumped up once again and split his body parts again, where his torso hit the floor, then his bottom with his feet on the ends with his stick-arms attach and holding each other, and finally his head with his carrot-nose going horizontal and stick-hair going horizontal through his head, while his coal-buttons were hidden as Olaf whistled for a hint.

"Oaken." Kristoff answered.

Olaf spun around for a bit to then have his toros showing with his had up on the top-right while having his mouth way out and his carrot-nose hanging, both of his stick-hands on the left while bent ninety degrees while holding each other, a coal-button up on top, and one of his feet off to the side, while his stick-hair, other two coal-buttons, and the other foot were hidden.

"Teapot." Hiccup answered.

Olaf put himself back to his normal self, expect that he put two of his coal-buttons on top of his head while the last one his on his nose, which is sticking out a bit, while his carrot-nose is hidden.

"Mouse." Kristoff answered.

Olaf put his nose and coal-buttons back in place before spreading his stick-arms out and moving his hips back and forth while walking forward.

"Ooh, Elsa!" Hiccup answered before looking at Elsa, who turned her head away as she's blushing in embarrassment.

Sven bit down on the bell to pick it and shake it around as Olaf's turn is over, where Hiccup and Kristoff cheered and high-fived each other of getting everyone answer while Olaf walked back up to the couch and stood in front of Hiccup.

"I don't think Olaf should get to shapeshift." Heather says, as her and the sisters feel a little cheated.

"Yeah, you two could have least given us a chance." Elsa agreed.

"Well, when it comes to lighting fast rounds, you go lighting fast." Hiccup responded before him and Kristoff chuckled a bit, but it ended with Heather punching his shoulder.

"Doesn't matter. This is gonna be a cinch." Anna promised, cracking her knuckles as she has this next round in the bag.

"Hiccup, it's your turn." Elsa told him.

"Oh. My bad." Hiccup responded getting off the couch and walked to the center, where Olaf got up on the couch and sat between Elsa and Anna.

Sven bit down on the basket's handle to pick it up and walked up to Hiccup and hold it out to him, Hiccup picked one and read it, where Sven backed up to his spot and set the basket back down and sat down.

"Free for all?" Hiccup asked, tossing the card behind him, where the group looked at each other smirking as they have no problem with that, and soon looked back at Hiccup.

"Okay then, hit it, Sven." Hiccup told the reindeer.

Sven bit down on the bell to pick it up and ring it and soon kicked the sand timer over.

Hiccup moved his left hand behind to act as he grabbed something and soon hold his arm in front of him to act as he covering himself.

"Oh, a dark knight? Guardian angel? Masked figure?" Anna guessed.

"A watcher?" Heather guessed.

"Planting trees?" Kristoff guessed.

"Taking in nature?" Elsa guessed.

"Looking at your true self?" Olaf guessed where once again Hiccup froze in place for a moment as that hit a little too close for comfort.

Hiccup shook as neither of them are close.

"Babe, you gotta give us something." Elsa told him.

Hiccup stood up and thinking of another clue to give, but ending up grunting while closing his eyes and holding his hands up to his head as he's hearing the bells in his head again.

"Grunting? A massive headache? Someone inside your head?" Anna guessed.

"Thinking extremely hard?" Kristoff guessed.

"You see a fading image?" Olaf guessed.

Elsa was about to guess herself, but didn't as the guessing Anna and her friends are calling started reminding her about how Hiccup did the exact same thing this morning.

Elsa was about to get off the couch and check to see if he's okay, but froze in place when she heard the singing voice from this morning again.

"Voices in your head? People yelling in your head?" Anna guessed and was gonna guess again but got interrupted.

"Dragons roaring in your head?" Olaf guessed while interrupting.

"Hey." Anna said staring at Olaf.

"Sorry." Olaf apologized.

Hiccup then yelled in pain as the bells in his head continued, causing him to fall to the ground and slams his fist against the ground, sending a small ring of fire from his fist to circle him before vanishing, taking everyone by complete shock, even Elsa, as they watched Hiccup hold himself up with his fist with one hand while keeping the other on his head before going down on one knee, making everyone run up to him to see if he's okay.

Hiccup screamed a little bit longer before settling down as the roaring in his head stopped, and took a few breathers.

"Hey, are you okay?" Heather asked placing a hand on his shoulder.

Hiccup took a moment to feel like himself again before looking up at his friends.

"Y-Y-Yeah, I'm fine. Just had a bad headache." Hiccup answered with a fake explanation.

"That seemed more than a headache." Anna commented as she and everyone helped Hiccup up.

"You sure you are okay?" Elsa asked holding onto Hiccup's arm.

"I'm fine." Hiccup answered placing a hand over Elsa's while staring into her eyes, as she's still very worried for him. "I'm gonna call it a night. See you guys in the morning." He said, getting out of his girlfriend's grasp and walked towards the door to exit the room and head to his room, where Toothless soon followed, leaving everyone staring at the door worry as Hiccup left.

"Elsa, has Hiccup been acting weird lately?" Heather asked with a brow raised, confused as Hiccup's never acted like that before...like he was afraid. Everyone has a reaction similar to what they whiteness.

"He acted like that this morning in town. Claimed that there was a bell ringing in his head, and it was followed by a dragon roar." Elsa confessed to her.

Heather remembers about what Hiccup told her, Throk and Mala about hearing bells years ago and wonders what's going to happen now if he's hearing them.

"I'm going to go check on him. Good night." Elsa said, walking towards the door to leave the room to find her boyfriend with Snowfall by her side.

"What do you say, guys? Wanna hit the bed?" Olaf asks the Night Lights who screech. "All right. And Sven, Hookfang, promised to read us a bedtime story." Olaf informed before looking at Sven to give him a reminder as he and the Night Lights start leaving and Heather followed them with Windshear.

"'Did we?'" Kristoff questioned acting like Sven.

"Oh, you do the best voices." Olaf commented climbing up on Hookfang. "Like when you pretend to be Kristoff, and you're like...I just need to go talk to some rocks about my childhood and stuff." Olaf explained and soon acted like Kristoff while laying down.

"Um, how about you guys start without me." Kristoff suggested.

Olaf, Sven, Heather, Windshear, and Hookfang didn't respond and exit the room, leaving Anna, him, and Stormfly alone. Kristoff stared at Anna, who's has her back to him while looking at where Hiccup was getting a headache as Stormfly is cleaning up the charade cards spread all over the floor with her tail.

Kristoff quickly tossing a few more logs into the fireplace to brighten the scenery up and soon taking a leaf from a mint plant to freshness his breath up and did a breath test, which was not really perfect, but good enough. Kristoff stood back where he was a few minutes ago with Anna's wedding ring in hands.

"I wonder, what dragon could roar in Hiccup's head?" Anna questioned before Kristoff could speak.

"Your guess is as good as mine." Kristoff responded with a shrug.

Anna hummed while thinking about Hiccup's actions, where Kristoff got down on one knee while holding Anna's wedding ring out to his girlfriend and soon cleared his throat, ready to speak, but got interrupted.

"The Bewilderbeast is the only type of dragon that could get into the heads of all dragons to control them, even Hiccup." Anna interrupted while pointing out facts.

"That's true. Only the Bewilderbeast can get into the heads of all dragons to control them, and Hiccup being half dragon means the same thing if he were all dragon." Kristoff agreed since that's what Hiccup told all of them and he cleared his throat once again, only to be interrupted once again.

"Oh, thank you, Stormfly." Anna thanked as she handed her the card that Hiccup had a few minutes ago and read it. "Peace Keeper. Oh, come on. How did we not see that?" She read before complaining, throwing her hands out and accidentally hit her wedding ring out of her boyfriend's hands, making him dive for it as it rolled under the couch.

"The clues were all right there. Then again he did have the massive headache scene which threw us all off track." Anna stated having a moment to herself, where Kristoff was able to get ahold of Anna's wedding ring and get back to his proposal position and was about to speak, but got interrupted when Anna sighed.

"Hopefully Hiccup's feels a lot better tomorrow and we go on with our lives." Anna hoped before closing her eyes and kissing her boyfriend's cheek, not even noticing the position he's in. "Night, honey. Love you." She said before getting up and walked towards the door. "Come on, girl." She called Stormfly who finished cleaning and soon followed her rider towards the door.

Kristoff was about to speak to hopefully stop his girlfriend, but was too late as she and Stormfly left the room, leaving Kristoff all alone.

"Love you too." Kristoff responded in disappointment of not able to propose to Anna. "It's fine." He reassured himself, knowing that he still has a chance to propose to Anna since she didn't even noticed what he was doing.

-

Hiccup was back in the Sanctuary and was hearing the collision of bells and roars as the roars are drowning out the bells as on his back, the dragon mark is glowing. He wants it all to stop, ignore what they're saying. He doesn't want to answer the call. Even when it's the one thing he's wanted for years. Achieve his true potential.

"We knew this day would come. To take your true place." Toothless reminded him.

Hiccup sighed, knowing that's true but he doesn't know if he's ready. He might be ready physically, but not so much emotionally.

"I know, bud. I was just hoping I wouldn't be in this position." Hiccup responded, pulling the box and opened it up to reveal Elsa's wedding ring and stared at it as he sees his future is starting to change.

"Hiccup?" Someone called out, making Hiccup close the box and put it away before looking towards the opening to see my Elsa and Liry coming into sight.

Elsa and Liry looked through the open area to see Hiccup and Toothless in the open, where Elsa immediately took noticed of her boyfriend's weariness on his face.

"Yep. Now I know something's wrong." Elsa stated as she and Liry walked towards Toothless.

"With you?" Hiccup questioned, looking out the hole in his room that overlooks the kingdom.

"No, with you." Elsa answered, reaching her boyfriend while Liry laid down off to the side by Toothless. "You took a look are your marks. You do that when something's wrong."

"Same with you, wearing your mother's scarf." Hiccup responded, taking noticed the red scarf with a diamond pattern wrapped around his girlfriend's shoulders, making her smile nervously.

Hiccup smiled at his girlfriend and soon sighing.

"Why are we trying to hide our troubles from each other?" Hiccup questioned as him and Elsa are the two odds in the whole kingdom, where they both know each other by heart.

"Because we don't want to worry each other, which could cause those around us to worry." Elsa answered.

"That's true." Hiccup responded, scratching the back of his neck.

The couple had a moment a silence as neither one of them knew what to say.

"You go first." Hiccup and Elsa said at the same time, which only caused the two to laugh.

"No, you go first." Hiccup and Elsa said again, making the two laugh once more.

"Your the queen." Hiccup stated.

"But we're in your home." Elsa replied.

"But I'm allowing you to go first." Hiccup says.

Elsa chuckled as she fighting a battle she might not win. "Alright." She accepted and soon sighed. "There's this...voice I've been hearing about all morning, where it sounds like someone's calling me."

"I feel the same as with my call. Where I'm positive it's the one dragon never seen before." Hiccup shared.

Elsa stared at her boyfriend as she's very curious to what the dragon could be.

"What species is it?" Elsa asked.

Hiccup took a moment before sighing and looking at his girlfriend. "A great Foreverwing. He's the one who seems to have spread the legend about there one day being a child born with the heart of a human, but the soul of a dragon." He answered, making Elsa stare at her boyfriend in shock as she started remembering about a Foreverwing from her childhood.

"What is it?" Hiccup asked.

"My father told me about a Foreverwing that lives in an Enchanted Forest with magical sprits." Elsa answered.

"An Enchanted Forest?" Hiccup questioned as she and Elsa sat down.

"Yeah. A forest that protected by four magical sprits. Fire, air, water, and earth." Elsa answered.

"What happened to this Enchanted Forest?" Hiccup asked.

Elsa stared at her boyfriend for a moment before sighing. "When my Father and Grandfather visited the Enchanted Forest for the first time to settle peace between the Northuldras, they are people that live in the Enchanted Forest and live in peace with the sprits and the Foreverwing, but something went wrong, where a brutal battle took place, where it enraged the sprits and the Foreverwing to turn against us all and soon vanish, where a power mist covered the Enchanted Forest, locking everyone out, and trapping those within."

Hiccup stared at his girlfriend for a moment before to take everything. "That doesn't sound like a Foreverwing. For my father mentioned of how a peaceful dragon they are." Hiccup said with an explanation.

"Anna and I have wonder for quite some time of what could've caused the sprits and the Foreverwing to turn against us all when we were kids." Elsa told him.

"Do you have an idea what caused the battle?" Hiccup asked.

"My father said the battle was just completely random. No idea who started attacking who. But my mother believes Ahtohallan knows." Elsa answered.

"And who's that?" Hiccup asked.

"A magical river that holds the answers of our past." Elsa answered.

Hiccup smiled at his girlfriend for a moment before going into sadness of thinking about the Foreverwing, making his girlfriend feel unease.

"What's wrong?" Elsa asked.

"It's just..." Hiccup stared and soon sighed. "When I learned I was the Dragon Prince, my dragon-father told me of how I will become the bridge between the world of Humans and Dragons, but only when I start to hear the Foreverwing calling out to me can I reach my true potential. And now that I believe I hear him...I just don't want to risk losing everything we've achieved since we reunited, especially if it means losing you."

Elsa placed her hands on her boyfriend's torso and soon lay her head on his shoulder. "You're not going to lose me, Hiccup. I will always be with you, no matter what the future holds in store for us."

Hiccup smiled at his girlfriend as she's always making sure everyone in this kingdom has a happy smile on their face, especially him.

"What would I do without you?" Hiccup questioned, wrapping his arm around his girlfriend's waist.

"You would probably still be living with dragons to this day while leaving your old Sanctuary to rescue any new dragons who are in trouble, and maybe visit your sister every now and then." Elsa joked.

"That's true." Hiccup agreed, laughing at how true that was.

The couple stood in silent for a moment to enjoy together while their Dragons started drifting off to sleep.

"How did the story of the Enchanted Forest played out?" Hiccup asked, now curious about the story.

"Well...We should get comfy. This story is gonna take a little while for me to remember it, since I only heard it once when I was little." Elsa suggests as Hiccup then got on the bed next to his girlfriend, who wrapped her arms around his torso and rested her head on his shoulder, where Hiccup wrapped his arms around his her waist and rested his on her.

Elsa took a moment to remember the story as well as she can. "Far away as north as we can go stood a very Enchanted Forest. But it's magic wasn't that of goblin spells and horse fairies. It was protected by the most powerful sprits of all. Those of air, fire, water...and earth. And not only was it protected by the most powerful sprits, it was also protected by Foreverwing." Elsa started remembering. "Not only was the Enchanted Forest a home to the four sprits and the Foreverwing, but it was also home to the mysterious Northuldra people."

"So they lived a life of using the Enchanted Forest's magic, like the Arendellians living a life with Dragons." Hiccup connected.

"And they cared dearly towards the Foreverwing." Elsa continued. "The Northuldras' ways were different from ours. But still, they promised us friendship. In honor of that, my grandfather built them a mighty dam to strengthen their waters. It was a gift of peace." Elsa continued.

"My father was honored to get to go to the Enchanted Forest to celebrate it. But something went wrong. They were attacking. It was a brutal battle. My grandfather...was lost. The fighting enraged the sprits. They turned their magic against us all. Even the Foreverwing was enraged. Firing upon them all. My father gotten seriously wounded during the fight. But when he came to, there was this voice ringing in his ears, and someone saved him. And after that day, the sprits and the Foreverwing then vanished. And a powerful mist covered the Enchanted Forest. Locking everyone out. And that night, my Father came home." Elsa finished having a few tears slide down her cheek as the story is bring back too many memories.

Hiccup stared at his girlfriend for a moment before whipping away the tears sliding down her cheeks, making her soon smile at him.

"I'm sorry for what happened to your grandfather. I assume he was a good man." Hiccup apologized.

"Anna and I have only heard stories about him." Elsa responded.

The couple took a moment to respect for the lost of King Runeard and all of the Arendellians who went with him to the Enchanted Forest that day.

"So...how did that song of Ahtohallan goes?" Hiccup asked, curious about it.

"Where the Northwind meets the sea. There's a river full of memory. Come, my darling, safe and sound. For in this river all is found. In her waters, deep and true. Lie the answers and a path for you. Dive down deep into her sound. But not too far or you'll be drowned. Yes, she will sing to those who'll hear. And in her song, all magic flows. But can you brave what you most fear? Can you face what the river knows? Where the Northwind meets the sea. There's a mother full of memory. Sleep, my darling, homeward bound. When all is lost, then all is found." Elsa sang from memory.

"Did I ever mentioned that your voice is magical every time you sing?" Hiccup asked starting at his girlfriend as his heart is feeling very magical of hearing his girlfriend sing.

"I don't believe you have." Elsa answered with a smile.

"Well, your singing voice has a magical tone that goes to the very soul of my heart and continues on singing for an eternity." Hiccup decried as she chuckled while smiling brightly at her boyfriend.

"Thanks." Elsa responded before planting a kiss on her boyfriend's lips and snuggled up as close as possible, where Hiccup made sure to have a firm grasped on his Ice Queen just before they started drifting off to sleep.
