~~~During the gem war, On A Ship on Earth

A male Ruby sat in a ship waiting for his squad to come back.
Ruby: Why do they take so long?
He sighed of boredom.
Defect: I do I always get watch duty?
Then, they all came back. He gave them all nicknames because he didn't just want to call them Ruby. The first one who came in was one he calls Eyeball.

He sees her as the angry fight ready one.
Eyeball: Our mission was a success!
Then one he calls Army.

Army: Yes, no sweat.
She's the tough serious one. Then came in Navy.

He always saw her as the nice "girly" one.
Navy: And we saw some beautiful things along the way.
Then Leggy came in.

Leggy: Huh? Wha?
She's not the brightest.
Ruby: Well it sounds like you all had a good time.
Then, Captain came in.

...She's The Captain.
Captain: Defect, any attackers while we we're gone?
They called the male Ruby Defect, he's the goofball.
Defect: No, It's all White Diamond beautiful over here!
Captain: Good, set course for Homeworld!
All the Rubies got in there stations, then a loud crash came from outside.
Navy: What was that?
Captain: Defect, investigate!
Defect: Ok-dokie!
He went outside to check. He saw nothing.
Defect: It doesn't look like anything is out here.
The others came out.
Captain: Then what was-
???: NOW!
Suddenly a large boulder came at them.
Army: An ambush!
The boulder came down on them and they flinched and closed their eyes.
Eyeball: ...Wait, huh?
They opened their eyes to see Defect holding up the boulder. He lifted it high above his head. Navel looked at him with a impressed smile.
Navy: Oh my, so strong.
He tossed it to the side.
Defect: You alright girls?
Before they can answer, an Amethyst and Bismuth came from the bushes.
Bismuth: We didn't get them!
Amethyst: Time for Plan B!
Captain: Rubies!-
Defect: Get back in the ship, I got this.
Army: Are you crazy?!
Navy: They'll shatter you!
Leggy: Wait, they'll what?
Defect: Then I'll buy time for the ship to charge up hyperspeed, I'm just one Ruby!
Captain: ...Very well, Rubies! Set course for Homeworld!
The Rubies ran inside.
Bismuth: Just one Ruby?
Amethyst: This should be easy.
The Amethyst dove at Defect.
Defect: Over here.
Amethyst: Huh?
Defect was behind Bismuth. She turned and around and tried to squash him, he caught her fist and held them.
Bismuth: What the-
He tossed her back with ease.
Defect: Catch me if you can!
He started to run around them in circles at high speeds mimicking the sound of a race car.
Eyeball: Defect, we-huh?
The others came to look.
Leggy: Woah, he's fast.
He suddenly went in front of the Rubies.
Rubies: BAH!
Defect: Wanna see me kick that Bismuth?
He quickly went to kick the Bismuth and came back.
Defect: Wanna see me do it again?
Amethyst: Why you!
The Amethyst pulled her whip out and hit him the back of the head knocking him down.
Bismuth: We're gonna get you!
She pounded her chest.
Captain: Let's get this over with. Rubies!

Eyeball gestured Defect to join in.
Defect: Really?! Hotdog!(They never let me join!)
Eyeball held her hands up as Defect jumped up and did a handstand on them.
Captain: COMBINE!!!!!
They all fused to a giant Ruby.
Giant Ruby: *ROAR* Surrender now and maybe, you won't be shattered!
Bismuth: Never!
Giant Ruby: Big mistake.
Amethyst wrapped her whip around Gaint Ruby's arm.
Giant Ruby: Bigger mistake!
She yanked her arm back and grabbed the Amethyst.
Bismuth: Amy!
Giant Ruby grabbed Bismuth.
Giant Ruby: You'll answer to The Diamonds!
She crushed them under her thumbs and they poofed. She defused and Captain bubbled their gems.
Captain: Great job Rubies!
Eyeball: They had it coming.
Army: It's our duty.
Navy: Still think we went to hard.
Leggy: What why did we fight again?
Captain: You too Defect.
Defect: You think I did good?
Captain: Yes. And I won't lie to you Defect...I mean I would, but, I didn't think much of you when you were first assigned to our team.
Eyeball: I thought you were annoying.
Army: I thought you were too soft.
Navy: I thought you were..."ok".
Leggy: Who are we talking about?
Captain: However, that incredible strength and speed is really useful. You will come with us from now on-
Defect threw his arms up.
Defect: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-
He ran off.
Rubies: ....
He came back behind them.
Defect: -OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-
Captain: Shut up, I'm not done.
Defect: Ok.
Captain: We still need to set some ground rule for you. Each one of us had one. For me, you must always do what I say, no matter what.
Eyeball: Don't bother me unless you wanna fight.
Army: You and I will train whenever I say so.
Navy: If I need help carrying something, you will carry it for me.
Leggy: ...Wait what are we doing?
Captain: And if you ever misbehave, we will tie you to the chair.
Navy: (Kinky.)
Defect: Ok, I'll behave.
Captain: Good, let's go Rubies!
They went inside the ship, got to their stations, and blasted off to Homeworld.
Navy: You did well today Defect.
Defect: Thanks Navy.
Navy: ...Navy?
Defect: Oh, I gave you all nicknames.
Navy: Oh, how nice of you.
Navy looked him up and down.
Navy: (Now that I get a good look of him, he's kinda cute.)
She smirked a bit.
Defect: Navy?
Navy: Huh? Nothing!
Defect: ...Ok.
Army: So, Defect, mind explaining that strength and speed of yours?
Defect: I don't really know myself, I think it has something to do with me being a defect.
Eyeball: It has to be, no Ruby has that power.
Leggy: What are you guys talking about?
Defect: My powers.
Leggy: Oh, ok!
Captain: Regardless, his skills will be most useful. Nearing Homeworld!
Homeworld came into view.
Defect: Home, tolerable, home.
The ship landed on the ground.
Defect: This should be fun!
