(Defect's POV)

We had began to walk again after a few minutes. Uranium was in the lead. We thought everything was fine. That is, until we saw the helicopter.

It landed right infront of us in the clearing. And it was larger than your average helicopter. A set of stairs went down with a "ssss". Eventually, two more furries walked out, followed by a robotic cat. The cat seemed familiar to me.

One furry was a squirrel, wearing an olive green t-shirt and blue jeans. She had orange eyes and wore an old steampunk-style cap with goggles. The other furry was a purple rabbit. The insides of it's ears were a light cream color. The left half of her face seemed robotic, as were her waist, legs and left ear.  Her eyes were a yellow-green color. She also wore blue jean shorts and a grey sleeveless shirt.The cat was mostly white, except for the teal color that was on her ears, snout, stomach and on a heart panel on her chest. Her eyes were also teal.

"There they are. Finally." The rabbit said. It was clear that she was irritated. "Fang, please" the squirrel said. Uranium growled, "Who are you?" The squirrel smirked. "My name is Gadget. The rabbit is Fang, and the cat is my robotic assistant Gears."

Gadget.. Fang... Gears.. They all seemed so familiar. How, though? I never knew any of them...

"We've come to save you two. This this place is way to dangerous. Shadow's everywhere." Fang said. "We're not scared of a few shadows" Uranium retorted. "You don't even know what Shadow's we're talking about," Gadget said. 

As if on cue, ten different creatures made out of PURE SHADOWS rushed at us from all sides. "Oh ships!" Fang growled. Gadget brought a walkie-talkie to her mouth. "Alpha Cat HQ, we've got an ambush! Send Backup!" She put the item in her pocket, and pulled out a gun with what looked like a large rainbow-colored stone in it. "Cinder was right, this would come in handy!" Gadget started shooting at what I could only assume we're the Shadows. Gears pushed Uranium and I into the helicopter. "Let's leave this to Fang and Gadget. This isn't their first ambush."

The battle progressed, for we could hear the noises of the fight outside. Eventually, Gadget came in, helping Fang walk. Apparently one of the Shadows had torn off and stolen one of Fang's legs. "We'll need to fix it once we get to HQ." Gadget sighed, setting Fang down in a chair. "Wisp is gonna freak out, you know that right?" Gadget asked Fang once she sat in the pilot seat. "Yes, I know. I'm aware that she's a worrisome fluff ball. Now shush." Fang growled slightly.

"Who's Wisp?" I asked. Fang blushed lightly, and muttered, "a friend". "A friend? More like you're girlfriend!" Gadget laughed. Fang growled, "Shut up, Gadget!" as she blushed more. "Oh.. Wow.. I didn't know you were..." I said. "Eh, I could kinda tell." Uranium snickered. "Don't get on my bad side, PUPPY..." Fang growled. "I'm not a puppy. I'm a DOG." Uranium retorted. 

In about an hour, we landed at Alpha Cat HQ. Near where the landing pad was, two more furries waited. One was a yellow cat, light blue eyes and a scarf to match. She wore a cream sweater and blue jeans. The other furry was a grey fennec fox. The insides of her ears, the tips of her hair and tail, and three stripe markings on either side of her face were a red-orange. Her eyes were grey and she wore a loose orange tee shirt and black denim jeans. As soon as Gadget came out with Fang, I saw the fox run to Fang. "Holy ships! What the hedge happened?!" She said. "An ambush. The Prism Lasers Cinder and Mist designed came in handy." Gadget said, letting Fang prop herself on Wisp. 

Fang had too keep assuring Wisp that she just needed a replacement built, The yellow cat introduced herself as Sunni. Sunni took us to where nearly everyone else was. She introduced some other friends. A black and white dog named Kayla and her brother Frost, A half demon cat named SpiritWalker and her older full demon sister Toxyn and younger brother Eon, a dragon named Zero, and her Light Gaurdian team, Cinder, Mist and Luna. It was getting late, so everyone soon went to sleep. Myself, Gears, Gadget, Wisp and Fang were left awake, however. Gadget needed to fix Fang's leg, and Wisp refused to sleep until she knew Fang was OK. Gadget insisted I go to sleep as well, even though I didn't need to, being a robot. Nevertheless, I soon enough went into power Save mode...
