Adam's pov
Ty stood there floating from the sky. "Now you will feel the wrath of deadlox!" Ty screamed. Ty flanged his hand to the sky and brought it back down making the wind so strong that it picked up the dirt making it hard to see. I could hear the police shooting but every time a gun was shot the wind got stronger until the gunfire stoped.
I quickly glanced at chan. She looked so confused at carnations comment as I am. So she's that powerful? This is too much to process! First she was just a regular waitress serving us and now she's a powerful demon trying to save the damn world! "So what do we do?!" I questioned. "We have to get to a safe spot for now so she can rest!" Marissa explained while stumbling to get up.
Chan looked at me with worry in her eyes. I knew she didn't want to do this. All she wanted to do was to help but she had now plan to process what she's doing. I got up and walked towards her. I motioned my hand to her to help her up. She took my hand as she moved her hair out of her face. The wind was so strong it almost forced me to fall.
Everyone was up except Carnation. She didn't bugeg. "What are you doing?! We need to get to the safe spot!" I informed her. "To get to the safe spot you have to have a sacrifice....." She explained while getting up. Chan moved closer to nation. "Wait so......one of us has to die?!" Chan yelled. Carnation noded, she started to walk towards Ty. "Wait! Who said your dieing!" Marissa said getting in carnations way.
"Because my training is done!" She answered pushing Marissa out of the way. "No its not! You have to help chan! She doesn't know what to do! We know alot more than we do!" Marissa shot back while grabbing carnations arm tightly. Carnation tried to push Marissa off of her but the grip only tightened. "Marissa let go! You need to be with chan!" Carnation said finally pushing herself free. "Do I have a say in this?!" Chan yelled. They both ignored her and kept bickering.
"She needs you! I need you!" Marissa yelled trying to grab carnations hand once more but it was already to late. Carnation ran towards Ty yelling something that sounded like gibberish, like they did in the triangle. Ty saw her and smiled. "Oh no...." Chan commented. I decided to run after her until Red tackled me down. "What the fuck red?! We need to save her!" I yelled trying to struggle free. "Adam it's too late. Look" Red said while letting me go and pointing to Marissa. She started to glow.
"Guys......" Marissa said while her eyes turned gold until everything seemed to be gold, not just her but the ground and everything else until we seemed to arrived on an island. We were all here but Carnation. "What happened to...."Red questioned. "Shes......gone." Marissa said with teary eyes. Oh my.....she's actually dead. Even though I haven't known her that long, maybe like two or three hours? She still helped us when we were In need.
"What do we do know?" Chan hesitated to ask. Everyone looked blank. Carnation was kind of our only leader here. She knew so much and yet so little. "Carnation so you need to restore your power. So just restore your power." Red suggested. "I don't think it works like that. We never made a mortal into the most powerful inmortal before. Actually we never turned a human into a inmortal. We usually just make chapters." Marissa explained. "Actually.....I kind of made Adam.....inmortal. but I could be wrong!" Chan said.
"What do you mean?! You fucking turned him into a damn inmortal?! You can't do that! That's against the fucking rules!" Marissa yelled with an shock expression on her face. "Well her was about to die! He needed to live!" Chan shot back. I stood there as they both argued. Was I really inmortal? Like it kind of makes sense since I almost died three times but that's just luck! "Can anyone please explain to me what the fuck going on!?" I said breaking the two from their argument.
"Remember when you and red were kidnapped by Hanna? Well I saved you. I made you inmortal. Yeah you got hurt and yeah they thought you were going to die but you weren't. You can't die. Even if you try." Chan explained. "So your kind of my graurden angle? Cool but does that mean I can't die even if I'm old? And Carnation is like you right? That means she shouldn't have died." I said. "Well.....you can give up your powers for good. Never gaining them back making you weak and depending on your age and how long you had your powers you could die from that." Marissa explained.
"Wait.....old age? How old are you guys?" I questioned. The two looked at each other thinking if they should tell us or not. "Well..." Chan said while slowly looking back at us. "I'm......over nine million years old." Chan answered. "I'm a year younger than chan." Marissa added. "Oh! My! Lord! Do you have an exact number?" Red asked looking surprised as I am. "994635." Chan replied. "So your face and stuff like that doesn't age?! That's awesome but pretty weird." Red said. "So Adam's not going to be able to age? He's going to stay young forever?" Red asked.
"Only if he agrees to keep his powers." Chan said. Me and Red noded our heads and looked around our surrounding. We started walking around and eventually I was looking on the beach and red was looking in the woods. Marissa followed Red and chan was right beside me. I looked down on what I was stepping on. The sand was so white
There was blue shells everywhere. It was amazing. "It's beautiful isn't it?" Chan asked while looking up to the sky. It was day time but there was stars out and you could see the planets.
"It's more than beautiful....no words can express this!" I said still amazed. I glanced at chan for a second to realized that she had a sad expression on her face. "What's wrong?" I asked concerned. "Just in never wanted you to find out that you were in mortal without Carnation.....she was always there for me and she's been such a great friend." She said looking off to the ocean. "So Carnation knew I was different?" "She was the one who helped. You need two immortals to help a mortal." Chan said glancing at me.
"So....how did you see that I was in dangour?" "We help mortals who are in need by writing chapters of their lives. We don't actually make your lives but the most powerful immortal sends that next part of your life to us and we write it. Sad but whatever. I've been doing this for years." Chan said looking off to the distance. The wind picked up a little, her green and blue hair followed to wind making it go in her face. She whipped it off like she was expecting that. "So if someone.....was to die....you already know who and when even if they were your bestfriend?" I asked. If so that fucking horrible.
She sighed. "Yes....that's why I don't make friends that are mortal. Or at least I tried." "Tried?" I questioned. "Yes....a girl named Arielle (HarrehStyles4) was my first best friend. She knew everything about me and being a immortal but one day.....we were both getting ready to cross the street at night and.....her whole life flashed before my eyes making me stop in the middle of the road. She tried to move me but I didn't even flinch. She didn't see the car until I yelled 'look out!' But it was already to late." Her eyes were begging to let those tears flow but she quickly sniffed and tried to think of something to lighten the mood.
"So um....what's new in your life like skymedia and that jazz?" "Chan......you know you can talk about this with me right?" I said trying to confort her. She smiled and sighed. "Well we better get ready." She said. "What do you mean?" "Well because you're an immortal that means you have powers that need to be train. We also have to train Red but Marissa will deal with him. You are my student." She said folding her arms and smirked. "Hope I can learn from you like that night...." "ADAM!" We both laughed and got ready for training.
