I waited Chloe to go inside and without even looking back for a second, practically ran towards 'Food Corner'. Well, people must have thought i'm a thief or someone as they kept staring at me all the time. Ignoring them, I ran of course. Once I was in front of the restaurant I took a deep breathe. Even from outside I could see that it's jammed packed.

I opened the front door and walked inside and a jiggling sound came from nowhere. I was right, the place is crowded. Every seat is taken. There's some kind of a photo booth in the right corner and a play area for the children on the left. The food display and the cashier is just in the middle.

I walked towards the cashier. The cashier is a handsome guy. He has brown hair. I could tell easily that he has six packs. If I'm not on a hurry I could have easily kept staring at how his biceps move. But as I was in a hurry, I asked,

" I want to talk with the owner, where can I find him?? "

Just like Chloe told me to ask. When he didn't even bothered to look up, I tapped the table. Then he looked up ( Omg his eyes are light green.... so friggin CUTE. I know I came here looking for work, but it doesn't mean I can't flirt right?? ) and when he saw me, he removed something from his ears. Earphones. I was like,

' Dude seriously????? You might be hot but at least have some respect to your customers '

I must have been scowling at him, as he cleared his throat and spoke,

" Sorry, what do you want to order?? "

This is gonna be interesting. I have never seen a cashier wearing earphones, when the restaurant is fully crowded. Anyway I said, trying my best to not to show him that I'm annoyed,

" Can I speak to the owner please?? "

He stared at me for a second and asked,

" Did you make an appointment or something?? "

I shook my head and said,

" Tell him that Chloe sent me. "

At first he didn't move but when I said 'Chloe' he gave a heart melting cute smile and left, leaving me behind. I kept tapping the table and got some stares from nearby customers. After what it felt like an hour to me, the cashier guy came with a middle aged man, who must be the owner,who kind of reminded me of my Dad. To my surprise that man is wearing the clothes of a Cook.

When he finally he saw me, he looked surprised. I was so sure that he was going to tell something but closed his mouth. He turned back and motioned me to follow him. So I followed. When we were inside his office ( there was a board on the door saying 'The Owner' ) he closed the door behind. Then he sat on his office chair and finally looked at me again. When he saw that I was still standing he gave a smile and said,

" Please have a seat "

So I sat and started to talk, not knowing what to tell as I never wanted a job, until now.

" Umm... My name is Re.... "

Before I could even finish telling my name he interrupted me,

" Of course I know who you are dear, Queen of Illyria "

My mouth practically dropped and I just stared at him, not knowing what to say and how to react. So much for trying to keep my identity hidden. He must've seen that I felt uncomfortable as he said,

" Sorry if I made you uncomfortable. It's just my daughter really admires you and I've seen everything related to carrier because of her. I've heard so many things about you too.. "

I slowly regained my posture and said,

" A.... about me?? "

" Oh yes!! About you. Every time Chloe comes here with her friends she always talks about you,  specially with my daughter. "

" That's Chloe for you. How old is your daughter?? "

"  She's just 13 years old. She'll be really happy to see you. Because of you there are fights at my house everyday as my daughter doesn't let my son, who's your age, to watch anything he wants. Specially when a show about you is there. "

I chuckled and said,

" I'll be happy to meet her one day "

" You'll meet one day as when Chloe's here, she always comes. Well then now back office talk. I'm not gonna ask why a person like you want a job. But can you make coffee and clean tables plus work as a cashier sometimes?? "

" I guess, I can manage that. "

" Then you are hired. Now follow me. Let me introduce you to the other staff members. "

Wow.. I'm surprised that's all he asked. I followed him outside and he went straight in to the kitchen only stopping to tell the cashier to come too. The kitchen was a mess, preparing food. Henry clapped three times and everyone gathered around us, but kept staring at me.

Then he said,

" Ok everyone, this is our new staff member, Rebecca Stevans. She'll work her from.... ? "

When he looked at me I said,

" From tomorrow?? "

He nodded and continued,

" Yes, from tomorrow onwards. Please treat her well...... "

Then he started introducing me, to the other members. First one was the cute cashier guy.

" This is Nike, he's the cashier most of the time. "

" Hello!! " said Nike and gave me a huge smile. I smiled at him, mentally calling him the Earphones guy.

Then it was two girls. Both fair and thin.

" This is Susan and this one is Sonia. "

They both shook hands. Susan had brown and blonde hair, while Sonia has dark hair. Then it was two guys. This restaurant have only HOT guys. No wander mom said I will find cute guys in Avalona.

" This is Teddy and this guy is Niko. "

My eyes got stuck on Teddy. He's the real deal. He could be a model without working in the restaurant. He has Henry's features. His eyes are kind of dark blue but there's also a hint of light blue. His hair is dark brown and his aura screams the word HOT. Unlike Nike and even Andrew, this guy is way more COOLER. His biceps....... The shirt he's wearing is attached to his body and I could clearly see he has six packs. He's way more HOT. My eyes slowly moved to his face again and the reality hit me. He was smirking at me. His smirk alone can melt a girl's heart. He must've seen I was checking him out.

" Finished?? Like what you see?? "

Which made Niko chuckle and the owner smile. I started blushing and

Extended my hand towards Teddy to shake. He shook my hand still smirking at me.

When it was Niko's turn, he hugged me. I was shocked for a second,

" That's my way of greeting.  "

I gave him a slight nod and smiled. Niko's kind of mysterious. Just then, Teddy said something to ruin my mood.

" C'mon sir, she won't be able to remember our names."

He's a feisty one. Before Henry could say anything I laughed and said,

" It's not that hard to forget either, "

and gave my best evil smile, ( if I actually had any ).

Henry started laughing,

" Ha ha ha ha ... Don't worry about them, Rebecca. They're also your age. I meant 22. "

Wow. I'm 22 years old according to him. But I just simple gave a nod and said,

" I need to back now. I'll come tomorrow then. "

I said bye to all of them and came out. Henry and Teddy followed me to the door and just then Teddy said,

" You don't have to hide. I know you are not 22. You are still a high schooler like me. "

I looked back and lifted my left eyebrow. Being feisty aren't we?? What's wrong with this guy?? He screams trouble to me now.

" I don't know what father is thinking but, I'm not accepting a model and a high schooler like you specially as a member. "

With that he left. He. Just. Left. He said father to Henry right?? I turned towards Henry and he looked at me with pleading eyes.

" Don't mind him. That's my son, Theodore Fernandez. We usually call him Teddy. He's a short tempered guy."

I just nodded and came out.......
