||Lotus||

I clawed at the sides of the 'Shell Razor(Raiser?)'.

"LEO HOW OLD ARE YOU AGAIN?" I gasp, almost falling over.

"15," he says nonchalantly.

"IS THIS EVEN LEGAL! OR SAFE?!" I cried out. An accident a long time ago left me antsy when on moving vehicles. It made it worse that I couldn't see anything of the outside the world.

Raph groaned. "Does it look that anything is legal with us? Heck, we OURSELVES defy all science communities!"

Donnie snorted. "Raph's right, for once. I can't even believe he knows what a science community is."

Raph glared at Donnie. "I didn't, and I would have been perfectly fine that way, without knowing that. But unfortunately, I have you for a brother."

I sighed. Brothers. It made me think of Kai.

I stumbled my way to the front, sitting across from Leo on this weird block thingy . He glanced at me momentarily with his dark cobalt blue pearls before concentrating on the road.

I lean my head back and sigh. My phone buzzes in my pocket and I jump.

I look at the screen and groan. Just what I wanted right now.

ALERT! :New text message from Ben 😷 : hey you looked really good in that new training suit ;)

Benjamin was one of those boys who would get all the girls. And when he couldn't get one, he made it his mission to get her. It didn't help that I was his best friend in eight grade. He was a really nice boy that I could rely on before he joined that Purple Dragons group. Eww, what type of name is that? They couldn't even hurt a fly if they tried.

I texted him back;

Me; Ben leave me alone
Ben; come on pretty girl, if only you'd give me a second chance
Me; second chance? When was there even a first chance? You're different Ben, and I don't want anything to do with you. Don't text me this summer. AT ALL.
Ben; you know I don't listen to anyone
Me; I'm blocking you, you bastard
Ben; you'll regret this, Lotus. I will get to you

I shut off my phone, throwing in front of me. It hit the wall, cracking the screen and probably breaking it. That was ok though, I hated that thing anyways.

Donnie gasped. "That was the latest iPhone 6 Gold 64 GB! Why would you do that!?"

"I hate that thing. And I hate Benjamin Parker. And I hate Purple Dragons. The only thing I love in this world anymore is pizza. I don't care if my coach says it's junk. Pizza always will love and understand me."

Mikey gasps. "Oh ma gosh gurl, you just read my heart!!!"

Raph facepalms.

Leo stiffens however. "Purple Dragons? How do you know them, Lotus?"

I groan, to tired to answer. I mumble something incoherent even to me and curl up in my seat. Before I can register, I'm out cold.

I vaguely feel myself defying gravity. That, or someone's carrying me. When I feel strong arms shift me around, I know it's he second choice. What a bummer. I always wanted to be a super human. 

|| Leonardo ||

We pull up into the garage not long after Lotus fell asleep. Mikey, Donnie, and Raph bring her bags into the main room before retiring to bed. I'm left to wake up Lotus.

Typical. You never know how someone-much less a girl with killer pan hitting skills- will react when you wake her up. I already had experience with Raph, and I'm not sure I want to go through the same thing as Lotus.

I decided on just letting her sleep in my bed, and I would take the couch.

I put my arms beneath the crook of her knees and underneath her back. I would never admit, but she looks kinda cute asleep. With Lotus in my arms, I head out of the Shell Raiser.

As I pass the kitchen, Master Splinter comes out, holding a cheesesicle. He smiles warmly at me, his eyes traveling to Lotus in my arms.

I smile tiredly back. "She passed out when we were coming back home."

Master Splinter nods. "It has been a long three days for all of us. Take Miss Kimaro to bed and get some rest yourself, my son."

I nod and mutter a 'goodnight Sensei' before heading to my room.

Carefully, with my arm I turned the knob, kicking the door open.

Lotus gently snores, her nose flaring slightly with every breath. I chuckle quietly.

After setting Lotus down, I pull the Space Heroes blanket over her, closing the door softly and heading over to the couch.

|| Lotus ||

I was surrounded by blackness. Evil. Thick. Inescapable. I was trapped. I tried moving, but it was as if my limbs wouldn't obey me.

Suddenly, an evil cackle erupted from all over. I attempted to swing around to try and pinpoint the place where the sound is coming from.

Lights blaze on. My eyesight becomes blurry. A big metal figure appears in front of me. My eyes are still watery from the sudden bright lights and I can just make out the outline of a heavily armored man. 

"Hello Oroku Lotus. You have done well."

That voice. I've heard it before. I wrack my brain trying to figure out where.

But something else nags at me.

"I'm not an Oroku, I am a Kimaro." I say, my voice very weak, when I intended it to be strong and powerful.

"SILENCE!"

I cringe, hiding back tears. My ear drums ring, my head pounding.

"You. Are. An. Oroku. You have brought down the turtles and will serve me, your master. Or see your brother Kai suffer dire consequences."

"Kai, where is he?! YOU EVIL BASTARD GIVE HIM BACK BEFORE I KICK YOU BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM- A COWS BOOTY!" I scream. Who does this guy think he is?

Something hard hits my cheek. My face stings. I bite my tongue in order to stop from screaming. A copper taste fills my mouth, and blood trickles down my head.

"YOU WILL OBEY ME SOLDIER!"

"Never." I spat defiantly.

"Wrong answer."

I gain my eyesight for a split second, and I see his face. Half burned off, an evil scowl covering his face, eyes burning with pure evil and something else.

Then my stomach lurches as he sends a sharp kick to it, sending me into blackness.

I am suspended in black space, being thrown around in all directions and ways.

Suddenly, I end up, standing next to the man, in a throne room. I stand proudly, like a daughter to him. Oh how I feel so different from what I show. Disgust. Fear. Anger. And the worst thing is that I cannot move.

Below the throne lay the turtles, Master Splinter, and Kai. All beaten up and wrecked, all except Kai. He's just frozen and cuddled in a corner, terrified.

Raphael sends me daggers in his eyes, his mask barely on his face. Donatello is struggling to keep himself and Mikey in a seated position. Mikey looks at me, hurt and fear clearly shown in his baby blues. Leonardo, is on his knees, broken katanas in his hands. He stares at me with a face that could break my heart at one glance. Only it doesn't, and my face doesn't show any emotion. No matter how hard I try.

A black dressed ninja goes to him, kicking him in the face, sending him sprawling across the floor, too damaged to fight back.

Raph tries reaching for Leo, only to be kicked unconscious by another ninja.

More of the identically dressed ninjas surround the turtles. I try screaming for them, but nothing comes out. Tears lay on the brink of falling, but never fall.

Then, the tall, metal armored guy walks over to Kai. My eyes flings all over, trying to move. I try moving my mouth into words, but it's as if my body is controlling me. It's hopeless. I'm hopeless.

Kai cowers in fear. He looks at me like I'm some kind of monster. I want to go over there and scoop him up, let no one hurt him. But I know I'm too late. I'm gonna lose him, just like I lost my parents. He's the only person I have left. The evil bastard raises his bladed hand and...

|| Leonardo ||

I shake Lotus's shoulders in an attempt to wake her up. I've been trying to wake her up for the last 5 minutes. I was on the couch, turning and tossing, unable to sleep. Then, because of my heightened ninja senses, I heard her whimpering. Just now she started screaming and I knew I had to do something to wake her up from the demons and not wake up my brothers and Sensei.

There's only one thing left to do.

I take a deep breath and slap her on her cheek- but not hard!

She bolts awake, her hands grabbing my biceps and squeezing them until her knuckles turn white. I cringe slightly. She has some strong hands.

Sweat runs down her now white horror stricken face. She looks at me, lets go of my arm, and grabs her head, her breath ragged.

I wrap my arms around her shoulders in a comforting hug.

"Hey, hey, you're okay now. You were just having a nightmare. Lotus, take some deep breaths." I say, trying to calm her down.

She slowly stops pulling her hair, now very exhausted and scared.

"S-stay.........please," she croaks.

She scoots over slightly, letting me have enough space to get into the bed. My cheeks flush slightly but I hesitantly get under the sheets.

Lotus keeps a slight distance as we lay in an awkward silence.

I sneak a glance at her and realize she's shaking. And I don't think it's from the sewer's cold temperatures at night.

I scoot closer to her and wrap my arms around, rubbing
her back. She stiffens but slowly relaxes.

"Shh, you're okay. You're gonna be fine. Me my brothers will keep you safe and help you get your brother. I promise. Just go to sleep." I whisper.

With her eyes still shut, she whispers a tiny 'thank you'.

Slowly, her breaths become slower and softer. Soon, her body rises at a slow, even pace. She snuggles her head into my plastron lightly, getting comfortable.

And before I can know it, I'm pulled into the dream world. And I'm sure Lotus's dreams will be demon free, now that I'm here.

A/n; I'm so horrible I haven't update in like 2 weeks 😭. I'm so sorry and school starts Tuesday. I haven't updated because I have been majorly thinking about the plot and how to layout everything. But enjoy your last days of summer while you still have them! 👐🏼💚💐 -LoveLeonardo538
